 Chelsea will be facing Newcastle in the Carabao cup match tonight and honestly, with their on and off behavior, I can't really predict how the game will go. Newcastle were knocked out of the champions league games and many believe they can fully concentrate on the league and Carabao so as such are not supposed to mess this one up, right? But with how they misbehaved when they met Tottenham Hotspur I'm hoping they don't get knocked out of this one by the Chelsea team.
Chelsea are looking for a playmaker which they lack and there are speculations that Christopher Nkunku might start today or may probably start from the bench, although that's a probability because during their game against Sheffield, many fans expected Nkunku to be introduced. Well, fingers crossed but let's see if he will be brought up today.
 There's this harmony that flows between him and Nicholas Jackson, and if you observed, their partnership was fire during the club friendlies and we hope to see such today if he starts and I'm certain they can win the game tonight.

I also feel that if Villa continue to play as well as they did in the first half of the season, they can qualify for the Champions League next season... They remind me of Newcastle last season... I'd like to see Villa in the Champions League... Also it wouldn't be bad if they could do something in the Conference League this season...

yes, Aston Villa has magical powers when playing at home. Even City and Arsenal have felt the magic of Aston Villa this season.
This season, the strongest Premier League team couldn't even score a goal against Aston Villa's defense, let alone the weakest team in the Premier League.
This season the top 4 Premier League standings will be very tight. and I hope Aston Villa can maintain the consistency of their game to get a Champions League ticket. even after they get their target this season, they must keep their game up. otherwise, it will have the same fate as several teams fighting for Champions League tickets but when the new season comes they appear very disappointing.

I am laughing at you statement because you just said the fact. U myself, i was also happy that Manchester United was able to draw Liverpool because Manchester united is not in a good form to withstand Liverpool die to their poor performance since the beginning of this season. Their last two matches was also a lost, so many people already gave Liverpool the victory already even before the match started. Also last season, it was a flawless defeat on Manchester United with 7 goals to nothing. All these I mentioned made United fans to be happy when the game ended in a goalless draw.

I am also not in support with the jubilation because of a draw, instead of a win. This shows how weak that United are and their fans also understand that. I don't think that there will be a better chance for Manchester United to qualify to the champions league next season but I still believe that there is hope for then in Europa

This is home match for Aston Villa and before this match i have say it plenty because at home Aston Villa this season has fantastic records so i will confident to say Aston Villa will gets easy win from Sheffield United because we all know Sheffield United is the weakest team in Premier league besides Burnley and they were often to lose with big scores this season and the bookmakers even giving low odds for Aston Villa @1.22 however i expect Aston Villa can able to win with big scores because i think it's not hard task for them especially Aston Villa has been done it previously when they beat West Ham and Brighton

Besides that match i think Tottenham vs Everton also could be interesting match because just like i said before Everton in the positive condition because from 4 latest matches in Premier League Everton can able to win all of those matches and the most impressive from those results is Everton have done it with cleansheet status and Tottenham too their performance gradually better because they can able to ended their poor results and return to the winning ways so it is very interesting to know which team will be the winner of this match but as a host Tottenham will being an the favourite

The management of the team have a very big part to play in the mess the team currently faces and they definitely have to take measures if they hope to see improvement and probably improve their performance before the season ends, they should aswell look into the aspect of changing their coach as at this point it's very likely that it's much needed.

Last see they did much better than they have done so far this season, they were able to qualify for the UCL last season and definitely played this season in the UCL only to end up crashing out so bad that it did looked like they threw away all that they have worked for last season, I also have some doubts they will be able to make it to the top four this season and secure a spot in the UCL and ten hag is a major point of blame for any of the fate that befalls Manchester united this season.

Aston Villa has been one of the most surprising clubs this season and they are one of the teams that is still quite consistent. This reminds me of when Leicester City was able to win the English league in the 2015/2016 season and almost no one predicted it. Even though Aston Villa are currently in third place in the standings, it is not impossible that if they can play consistently they will become one of the strong candidates to win this season and it depends on how they face the second half of the season.

Brentford is not an opponent that is too difficult for Aston Villa to face even though Brentford can break through Martinez's goal first. Statistics also show that Aston Villa dominated the game and were able to handle the pressure. The three points they got in that match was a good achievement for Aston Villa because they were still in a fairly superior position in the top three.

I'm the same as you but I didn't panic because I watched this match and believed that Aston Villa would be able to turn things around and it was proven.
Aston Villa this season has been extraordinary and if you pay attention they have been able to turn things around several times in the matches they have won this season and the goals often come in the last minute of the match which proves that the mentality of the Aston Villa players is quite good.

So far the Aston Villa team is very strong and they have even beaten the top Premier League teams, so if they are still able to maintain the consistency of their team's play I think any opponent will not be difficult for them to face.
If you look at the strength of the Aston Villa team, I think they will most likely finish in the top 4 of the final Premier League standings this season.

It must be admitted that Chelsea is more chaotic than Man United and Pochettino has failed more than Ten Hag. I think the Blues will not be able to finish in the top four, and the most reasonable target now is the Europa League zone, because there are many reasons that can be said about their current shortcomings. Management policy of releasing most of the players has raised big questions, not to mention that players on loan like Ziyech and Lukaku are shining brighter at their new clubs.

The injury factor is the main reason that Pochettino often complains about in his efforts to create stability, but we know that the depth of the Blues squad is only filled with expensive players but with minimal experience. I mean, most of the players are very young with an average age of 23.5, this is where the weakness lies because Pochettino needs time to polish them and unleash their potential.

The transition process in the main squad was not managed wisely, therefore Chelsea is currently seen as a mid-table team. Sometimes they appear quite promising when facing other big teams, and often appear surprising because they lose badly to mediocre clubs. I think United is a little better than Chelsea, but to bet on their victory we have to think twice, because The Red Devils and The Blues often give false hope.

If Chelsea or Man u should win any other cup this season,and they do not qualify for the UEFA champions league or Europa league,I would consider their season a waste of energy because they are a big side,and are supposed to take their place in the top four,but rather,they allow themselves to be beaten by small clubs which take their place regardless of their club standard.Chelsea and Newcastle will be facing each other in the Carabou cup today,and I think Chelsea will take this one very serious because they really want to win by all means,and any tittle will be okay for them as long as they do not go back empty handed.They are no where near the top four,and so winning a tittle will make it look as if their season wasn't that bad,but truth be told,their season has not been good so far.

If they are going to build their team for the long period then surely once they will not play European soccer this is not going to have any problem for them, but this can bring good results for them in long run as described they need to invest on right players which can give them better results instead of investing on big stars which are already in this team but sadly not able to perform as club needs from them just because of this now things are going on wrong way.

Ten hag is also having problems with his strategy in early days he was impressive with giving best results and having spot in Champions League was super from his skill and method but now in this season all things going against him even now many are asking for sacking of him but most chances if we have any changes it's going to happen after end of this season.

I was one of the people who bet on Aston Villa winning and indeed I was a little panicked considering that this match was still too early in my multibet so it would destroy all subsequent bets. But fortunately, they still have a winning mentality and do not give up on the existing situation. For them, 3 points is a very important number to maintain their chances of remaining at the top.

At least united can still stay at the top 10 unlike chelsea and i have no complaints regarding it as ten hag does what he can do for the club. I have been watching that entire first half and i can say that if the defensive line is now being even more persistence than before.
They consistently movind down when there would be an attack coming from liverpool. There's no need to mention which defender that has most contribution but varane is really showing his class to the whole of united fans.
There's no reason to sell him and united can still keep him much longer.

I will take the positive thing when it comes but still a couple questions regarding the attacking line of manchester united. What the hell do they do from wednesday to the sunday because the attackers of manchester united don't look adhesive at all.  
They were being so wasteful and missing so many golden chances. The attackers could do better than it but yeah draw is good enough for united.

The way Chelsea held Manchester City to a draw was actually quite dramatic and very exciting. But the way Manchester United held Liverpool to a draw was really boring from my point of view.

Chelsea is more shitty compared to the manchester united. How much money spent by chelsea last season compared to the manchester united? this is still remain the main question. manchester united is much more persistence compared to the chelsea.
Chelsea was struggling out of top 10 while manchester united is on the top 10 right now. Some improvements have been showing by manchester united once it was facing liverpool. There are so many parties applauses the hard work from manchester united during the game.

At least manchester united did better thing than last season when liverpool was destroying it with a lot of goals. Manchester united is trying so hard to make sure its club will be competing for the UCL spot this time.
Chelsea is still struggling with its performance and no chance anymore for chelsea to compete at the top positions. I must say if chelsea is the worst among the big clubs in the EPL.
Manchester united has been doing far better than chelsea in various aspects. Too many kids played for chelsea. It was also making them have no consistency as they have no strong mentality.

There must be a target, even though it will be quite impossible to achieve it but at least it would give em some motivations to be even better than before. If there will be no a target and how can the players become even more persistence to improve their performance?
Im thinking about a target is a must for a football club coz it will give the players more motivation to achieve it but i can't deny that if having target would not greatly impacting the performance from the club.

Developing the team without a specific target can be compared to running blindly in an unknown direction.


That means mancheter united shall have sold all of their players first. I have no doubt that United will not be able to resell their players at the price they bought them for.
The performance of Manchester United was not up to par, and it was evident that MU did not look impressive either. However, the process of revamping the team may require a significant amount of time in order to get Manchester United back on the right track.

Im not against it but MU doesn't need to do massive replacements.

Manchester United have a good squad that can compete for the EPL and UCL titles. Are you aware they have a better squad than Aston Villa, Tottenham and Arsenal ? I don’t see the need to bring in new wingers and midfielders when they have more of the positions in the team. The question should be why are they not performing well. Hojlund has had 13 appearances in the Epl have come and gone without a goal. I know that people will point to the 5 goals in the Champions League as proof of his credentials, but four of those goals came against Galatasaray and Copenhagen, and all of them in defeats. Sometimes I don’t think it is just a finishing problem but a matter of service.

He is a player with impressive speed and strength, that reflects poorly on the creativity of those players around him. At the moment, this is simply not a team that is set up to service their centre-forward. The whole team isn’t playing well at the moment and it’s affecting the striker’s performance. Ten Hag has to find a solution to his teams inability to convert chances and solve the creativity problem.

I agree with you that in fact clubs like Man United and Chelsea are only covering up their inconsistencies, so celebrating a little result is considered very important because you can never achieve it in full. So these two clubs are in big trouble that cannot be resolved in the near future. I appreciate the hard work of the Man United team when they held Liverpool to a draw and when Chelsea held off Man City. However this doesn't mean the fact that they are on the right track because compared to the record, this season achievements are still not enough to cover up their failures.

Even I believe on miracles, but these not happen every time ten hag and Manchester United both already have in last season which was really works for them, but now this season is going to be disastrous for them with most chances they will be not able to stay into top five instead of top four we have few teams which are producing good soccer, and they are having good chance to end above them with this all most chances in start of 2024 we will be having new coach for the Manchester United because now this bubble is burst, and his strategy is also not working for the team and players are also not able to perform as they needed.

With this all now it's time for them to have big changes in their squad as well which is currently not working even they spend huge amount on these players, but their performance is below then average so having right players for right positions will give them better performance instead of having star players.
