There is still a lot of homework for Amorim so to Manchester United fans please hold your expectations because Amorim still has a long way to go to be able to implement the game according to his tactics. Onana and Bruno play for the club but the rest I don't understand they lost teamwork today. It must be admitted that 2 goals were created from the same scheme, namely corner kicks.

Manchester City can finally return to its true performance. And I was also happy with the win because I also favored them in that match. Pep Guardiola seems to have succeeded in rebuilding the confidence of all Manchester City players and enabling all players to play more optimally again. It's just that in last night's match I was quite disappointed with the draw that Liverpool got. Luckily my hope of seeing both teams score goals actually happened in that match.

But Liverpool's draw really brought good luck to other teams. Because in the end Liverpool slightly shortened their distance with the teams ranked below Liverpool. Chelsea and Arsenal are currently level on points and these two teams are currently the closest to Liverpool. Meanwhile, Manchester City is currently still in 4th place even though they managed to get full points again in last night's match.

Chelsea good performance this season is nice surprise. They had hard time playing well in last few seasons and last year they even came on 12th place as you mentioned. Many people did not think they would do well this season but they have proven everyone wrong. Now they are in second place in standings two points ahead of Manchester City. Reason they are doing so well is because of their strong offense which has scored 31 goals in 14 games even more than Liverpool. Their recent 5-1 win over Southampton shows how strong their offense is and it is clear that they are team to be taken seriously this season.

We are seeing great performance from Chelsea this season. In the last few seasons, we have seen poor and irregular performance from Chelsea. Even last season, the team was in sixth place in the table. In the 2022-23 season, Chelsea was in 12th place in the table. I did not expect a very good performance from Chelsea this season. However, Chelsea is playing well. The important thing is that the second place in the table is now occupied by Chelsea. Chelsea is also two points ahead of Manchester City.

Chelsea's attack is very strong. Chelsea has scored 31 goals in 14 matches. Liverpool players have scored 29 goals in 14 matches. Chelsea has managed to retain the second place in the table because of its strong attack. Southampton's defense was weak. Chelsea won this match by a large margin of 5-1. I do not think that Chelsea won by a large margin because Jack Stephens got a red card. Because before Jack Stephens got a red card, Chelsea was leading by a margin of 3-1.

When I decided to bet last night I already had a feeling that Manchester City would definitely win this match even though the opponent they faced had performed impressively this season, on paper Man City has above average player quality but their poor results lately have indeed affected the mentality of their players but I think they will not continue to slump and Pep Guardiola must have motivated the players to perform well again and ignore previous mistakes and try to keep moving forward to correct previous mistakes.
Finally I won the bet with one of them choosing Man City to win this match.

I agree with you about Manchester city losing lots of points over the past few games and it will take a lot of enough to come toe to toe on the title race with Liverpool, which I think anything can happen in the World of football, so i don't write off Manchester city for now.

However my grievance with Haaland has been his style of play ever since this setback hit Manchester city, given the fact those crosses and passes are not coming often from Kevin De Bruyne, Doku and the rest of them for you to do youy tap-in, why can't Haaland come back a little to help support the attacking midfield to help push the ball forward, he will rather stay upfront and wait for the balls endlessly, when he knows the team is not in a good shape for now.

In the end, Man City managed to get back on track. because so far or in the last few weeks we have seen Man City seem to be getting out of their own way. I'm happy to finally see Pep's team bounce back and make a brilliant victory. The score of 3-0 shows that Man City has now started to restore balance in their squad, which initially made the team a little weak at the back and dull at the front. Now it seems like everything is back. But I hope it's not just because it's a game against Nottingham. I hope this team's performance really returns and is ready to face any strong team as usual.

In another match, we again saw Man United defeated by Arsenal. And yeah it's not surprising because I already expected this to happen. Because even though Man United has recovered, that doesn't mean this team is ready to face other strong teams in the Premier League.

Manchester City lost badly. Manchester City has lost points in the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup matches. Manchester City has fallen behind in the title race due to losing points in several matches. At the moment, Manchester City only needed one win. I think that winning one match will increase the confidence of Manchester City players.

I saw Manchester City's overall performance against Nottingham Forest. Manchester City players played very well. Especially De Bruyne, Silva and DOku performed well. However, City is not getting a better performance from their best player Haaland. Haaland has been out of form for quite some time. And this is one of the reasons for Manchester City's poor performance.

It was really a must win for them, speculation are already out in the public on how Manchester city cannot bounce back and lot's of negative comments on the premier League defending champion, some even saying that Pep Guardiola should be sacked because of of this little set back that was encountered. Although we appreciate their comeback but we will like to see this kind of performance again when they face a stronger opponent. The good thing for them is that, Liverpool drew against Newcastle which has further reduced the gap they had on the table.

Watching the top trends of the EPL highlights this midweek, proud of some results and unhappy with some. Following the epic result of the results, they're inform this season. However Chelsea becomes the top trends. Chelsea traveled to St Mary's stadium and thrashed Southampton 5-1. This is probably one of the big winnings for the Blues under Enzo Maresca. It was indeed an interesting games, the fixtures of yesterday was busy with goals and I honestly feel for Liverpool for play 3-3, they would have even lost all 3pt but they were lucky to get a point out of that encounter. For now Arsenal and Chelsea can say they have hope of catching up with Liverpool and I'm not even seeing Liverpool to win the title, they can try but is just between Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City (they still have hope), is not over until is over for City.
You know, for the 1st half both teams were trying to get into each other's half to explore but the Gunners was too fast with the ball that made UTD weak and they couldn't chase the Gunners into their half completely, it made the Gunners to win the game from the midfield, they stole it from Man UTD that's why the forwards could not perform properly, some players were missing in action m
If you talk about Gabriel Martinelli he always act like a switch, off and on and you don't know which game he'd play out his best, he's losing form gradually. Zinchenko is trying to get back his position, lack of playing time should have dropped his performance but he came prepared, he was on fire so as to Timber and Saliba like you said, they were all awesome.
For Amorim to meet Pep for the first time in the EPL will definitely be a revenge for Pep and I believe Amorim will feel all Pep felt after losing to him in the champions league when he was in charge of Sporting, that game would be a game to watch, talking about Man UTD vs Man City.

I didn't expect United team to win that match, but at least I expected them to score, but it seems like Arsenal clearly dominated them in today's match and took much of the attacking prowess out of them.

Chelsea performed great against the Southampton team netting five times as against once from the home team. I'm not really comfortable with the red card although it was justified from VAR, Cucurella initiated a dive, but Stephens was very unprofessional tho mix business with pleasure and got punished. Some people would easily point out that Stephens Red card cost them the match, but it's important to remember that Chelsea was already leading by two goals before the red card and took the opportunity to make it four.

I'm really impressed by Manchester city performance tonight, seems Pep is finally waking up. I expected the match to be a fight for them, but they won easily.

Manchester City has begun to get back on track. They scored a goal without reply, and the captain, Kevin De Bruyne, has come back with his style. So, this will be attention for another club, they send a signal if they are going back to the standing premier league. They still have a problem, and Pep must fix it immediately to substitution Rodri's position. But at the moment, they should celebrate this victory, Pep was found the scheme that make The city to be effective to create many goals, those who are in front (attacker and midfielder) must back to behind to save their bad defenses.

The long wait is over and we've finally watch Manchester City accumulating three points last night. This was mainly a must win for Manchester City because they were favorite and having everything within their reach to thrash Nottingham Forest. Moreover, Pep Guardiola reciprocated when he figure out about his next oppositions have weaknesses. Nottingham Forest are mainly some random average club that doesn't have the stunt to pull a big winning because that's mainly not their style. Manchester City players, Kelvin De Bruyne is back, we know his capabilities when he's fully in his prime for City. He's in the midfield, taking back to back lead against oppositions, spoonfed the city frontline and a must volatile playmaker on the pitch. Either been spotted netting goals or creating big chances that would definitely lead to goals.

The reason why I'd say what happened suit him (Amorim), is because I see ETH in him, the way and manner ten Heg managed the team is the same way I believe the man Amorim will handle the team, he talks too much. In a situation like this where you have to manage a team that hasn't been consistent you don't give the media too much, you talk less and allow your work to speak more for you, that's why I would have preferred Nistelrooy, well that's how he (Amorim) thinks the club can go forward.
The Gunners are trying to make the Emirate Stadium a fortress but I feel is not yet time, Arteta need to give every position a better back up especially the attacking department. You could see that Man UTD could not push the Gunners back as they used to do, is as if the table was turned around in favor of the Gunners. For Manchester United to get back to how they were they need time, not because they have a new manager that  things are drastically going to be good for them in no time. I know UTD lack patience but they have to wait before they can come back to winning ways if not they'll change and sign new manager(s) more than they can get new players.

This particular match was not even one that will come easy for Amorim, so the best he could do was to get a draw which he wasn’t even able to get but ended up in defeat. He is a coach with a lot of expectations from him, but it might not also be easy to reach those expectations this early in his early days in this club. He needs to have a more better understanding of the squad and will definitely get a chance if his consistency remains on top notch in the coming days as he progresses and faces more teams.


The good thing was that they got a win and it was gotten in grand style. How long it took them to get that win doesn’t matter anymore as long as they did already. They may be coming back to their winning streak already but that can only be certain when we see their performance in the upcoming games. It won’t be an easy task for them, so they should do better in their coming games if they really want to stand a chance for the league title this season again.

Now we see what De Bruyne means to the team. He changed the pace and the game for Man City and got them an easy big win to break the bad form. If De Bruyne continues to play and is healthy maybe we can see Man City back on the winning run. But i think they need to get a good midfielder in the next transfer window so they can change the season for the better

This is probably the first time I've really enjoyed a midweek game in the English premier league, and I think they've made my night. I actually watched the Arsenal Vs United game, but I had to switch to the Liverpool game the moment Newcastle equalized to make it 3-3. What a crazy night of football. Sadly for Liverpool, they dropped 2 points, making the title race very lively again. Chelsea continued with their fine run again,. pushing them to the second position. The Arsenal game was just the biggest game for the night.

I think from the first half, both teams played well, but it was just too boring. The main game started in the second half. Arsenal these days now take corners as penalties, as they where just too dangerous from both sides. They really played a good football, but martinelli wasn't at his best today. Seeing Zinchenko on the lineup, I thought Manchester united was going to exploit that position, but it was obvious that they didn't come up with a good tactics to doing that. William Saliba had to do both the job of Gabriel and his own. He was literally all over the defense, and also supporting the attack. Timber was exceptional as well.

The thing I observed with United was their inability to create quality chances from the wings, and also failing to utilize the midfield. They allowed arsenal take control of the midfield. Amorim needs to understand that the premier league is quite different. He will definitely meet Slot and  pep soon, but I want to believe that today's game was an eye opener. The media won't take it easy on him.
