There are obvious reasons why many people think that Tottenham will not have a good chance of beating Manchester City. No way Tottenham is going to have that game so easy against Manchester City. Tottenham will lose to Manchester City that's certain I can bet all my savings on it.
Even if you're confident in Man City, putting all your savings at stake is still not a wise decision. Going all in like that is too reckless, treating gambling excessively. While this isn't an encouragement, such suggestions could influence others to go all-in on gambling, a life-or-death situation.

Aston Villa would have to keep playing out of the ordinary and it is more likely that they lose track of the others as soon as they lose a game they should have normally won. But we will soon have the answer how far Aston Villa could go this season as they are playing against Manchester City in one week and against Arsenal just three days later. I know that Tottenham somehow have some underlying stats which suggests that Manchester City may have one or two reasons to worry, but I don’t feel that Manchester city will lose to Tottenham at the Etihad. They will want to use this opportunity to capitalize on the absence of Spurs key players. I expect a 4-0 win.
You are right, Arsenal has 1 point less after 13 games and 1 goal better difference than last season after 13 games. Does that really mean anything? In my opinion it doesn't. They also have the strongest defense so far, which they did not last season although it was still great.
I also don't think it means anything especially considering 25 more rounds to play before the end of the season. A lot can change in those 25 rounds and it is right now important for the team plan things properly in order to maintain their consistency. Race has just completed 1/3rd of the distance and there is more to go but with proper planning everything can be achieved.

Therefore, Tottenham experienced consecutive defeats and Tottenham did not only lose by Manchester City.
