Just thinking about Manchester City's upcoming game against Tottenham makes me doubt that they will easily win. Even though Tottenham's recent bad luck with injuries is a setback, we've seen outsiders surprise everyone else before. Do you remember the City vs. Chelsea game? It was unlikely that Chelsea would hold up, but they did. That surprising toughness could come from Tottenham. As for City passing Arsenal at the top, its not clear. Right now, both teams are playing very consistently. A long way to go, and I think its anyone's game now. Gunners' present lead doesnt mean things will go smoothly until the end. After watching the Premier League for a while, we know not to guess the results this early.

I didn't expect that in this week's match Spurs would still have another tough match and it would seem like they didn't have the slightest chance of winning at the Etihad Stadium. This will be an inevitable defeat and in front of Manchester City fans it will also be difficult to overcome the existing pressure.

Arsenal aren't synonymous with consistency, the failure of Arsenal to maintain good form cost them the league this season although looking back from when Arteta took over as head coach of Arsenal there has been significant improvement generally in the team.
I think this season would be different for Arsenal, their players although very young has already matured in the football game and I believe they stand a good chance.

I wouldn't be so sure about this because Tottenham is fond of pulling surprises when it is least expected. Even though Tottenham have lost their last three matches even to small teams like Wolves and Aston Villa, I don't see Mancity having an easy ride with them. Don't forget that Manchester City have not been in the best of form this season. Unless they might want to change their latest trend of draws. It is very likely that Manchester City will win the match against Tottenham and Arsenal will also win the match against Wolves. If that is the scenario that happens then there will be no changes for the two this week on the standings. But Liverpool and Astonvilla will be able to swap places again if one of them fails to achieve maximum results this week. I see that Manchester City is not in a pressured situation in the match against Tottenham because they have strong enough capital to be able to beat Tottenham in their stadium.

So for Arsenal they have to be consistent to be able to beat Wolves this week because they took over the leadership of the standings in the previous week and they have to be able to maintain it to increase their confidence.
