Liverpool made up for last week's point loss with a good win this week, beating Brentford 3-0 at home. Away to Luton Town, this time they showed no mercy to their opponents Brentford. With the opponent's successive wins in the last three weeks, I expected them to score in this match, but Liverpool didn't allow it. Although both teams had plenty of chances, the home team managed to convert them into goals and got the three points with three goals, increasing their score to 27 and reducing the point difference between them and City to one.

Liverpool is one club that has really fallen down the ladder lately, I don't know if it was the exit of sadio mane or something that has affected them so badly, they had a killer squad like two or three seasons ago, that where performing very well even in the champions league. I cannot pin point exactly what the missing piece is, but lately they haven't just lived up to expectations, I don't know if it's my own bias judgement but that's just how I feel about Liverpool
The woes of Liverpool was for last season and not for this very reason. Since this current season started Liverpool has been performing excellently well together with Manchester City Arsenal and Tottenham. Among the clubs that are in the top four of the English Premier League, I only believe Liverpool to be the club that will give Manchester City FC a befitting fight. Every other club in the top four will not be able to give Manchester a desired fight towards the end of the season to determine who will be the champions of the English Premier League. Arsenal would have been in a better position to give the desired fight to Manchester City. But Arsenal has proven that they always become inconsistent towards the end of the season. I don't know whether it is because of fatigue or they are generally unreliable.

As long as this season is concerned. I only believe Liverpool to be the ones that will give Manchester City fight

Pep Guardiola had difficulty finding the right player to replace the injured De Bruyne, so he often rotated one player with another for the same purpose.
City are definitely missing the creativity of Kevin De Bruyne, what he brings to this City side makes him somewhat indispensable, but huge praise must go to Julian Alvarez, he is the player who has replaced KDB in the team, playing behind the striker (Erling Haaland), and he has been doing exceptionally well. I know he is not close to being as creative as KDB, but he is such a wonderful player and he has helped  City not to miss KDB as much as they would have if he (Alvarez) wasn't in the team.

Footballers are getting injured quite often these days and it is because of the enormous amount of games they are made to play every season, with little to no break; it is so exhausting, and the people fixing these games have to look into this. These players are also humans and it is not just about the money that the footballing bodies want to make.

Creativity, effort, consistency and precision. His passing is above everyone else's and that can make quite the difference. He really is the engine of the Manchester City game in both directions. Whether they attack or defend, De Bruyne is present at all times and decides whether to speed up the game or be calm in a certain situation. With Gundogan and De Bruyne being gone both at once, this specific kind of character is missing in the team at the moment.

Tottenham has at least 7 players struggling with injury problems. The team's performance has generally fallen, although as a result Ange Postecoglou has been able to give other players opportunities. Tottenham only have 22 players out of 29 in their squad at the moment, but some of them are likely to recover as scheduled and this will certainly help team improve form.
I feel really bad for them because I no the kind of effort they put in this season premier league from the beginning by making sure they never lose matches to any clubs but however there problem started from there match against Chelsea, they tried all possible best to win the match but Chelsea performance became even more stronger, and however some of their players sustain a serious injury on that match which has been affecting there performance up till now.

Honestly I never new that the Almighty Tottenham Hotspur will end up this way after all there performance this season premier league.

Between Chelsea and Manchester United, Manchester United will have more problems because they were already having problems, but now will have more to deal with Erikson their midfielder who was very good in some games is injured and will not return soon due to a knee problem, their new striker also has problems with injuries to deal with, he is suffering from a muscle strain and will miss a few games. Manchester United struggle to win games recently scoring just one goal, maybe with the opportunity that Martial will have, he will be able to score more goals.

Manchester United news

Manchester United need to improve, their next three opponents in the premier league are Everton, Newcastle United and Chelsea.

Some of the Manchester United players will miss some of their matches due to injuries. A big club like Manchester United did not have any other squad to replace the players that have injury, to keep their performances strong, the only mistakes Ten Hag's made during the transfer window, he thought the available will be enough to win their games. Now that is it, Casemiro, Eriksen and Hojlund will miss some matches too, the midfielder will be weak, i can see that is just the position in the league, if not Chelsea is doing better than Manchester united already, i don't think Manchester united will defeat them. I just hope Hojlund gets back before their next matches.

We cannot underestimate Everton's performance against Manchester United, and if players from that team fail to return before their next match, I don't think it will be easy for them to play against their opponents. My only hope is that Ten Hag's will add more players in January.

I've enjoyed every Chelsea game this season, both the wins and losses they've recorded, the Blues always put up a pure theater of amazing actions for the fans. Mauricio Pochettino is here to improve the team, possibly to his own taste and he has not found any solid results yet, though he's still rebuilding the club and will definitely strive harder than expected. Chelsea fans shouldn't exaggerates because Chelsea are inconsistent in league performance, they can win today and lose tomorrow game. That's basically to illustrate their level of inconsistency in games.

You are funny. How will you enjoy both their wins and losses? Seriously,  I wasn’t satisfied with Chelsea's performance at the beginning of the season. I do feel bad after spending lots of money getting new players and a new coach, but there was no improvement in Chelsea's performance then. I do feel bad when I see Chelsea losing to weaker clubs in matches that they should have used to accumulate points, they wasted the opportunity then, but I am always impressed with Chelsea's performance whenever they play against strong teams.

With the way Chelsea is playing lately, I am sure even if they come across a weak team, they shouldn’t give Chelsea a problem. Chelsea is really performing well now, and they are playing more than everyone’s expectations. Pochettino is not trying to build a perfect squad, which is really going to work for Chelsea. I am expecting more improvement from Chelsea.

Pochettino is starting to find his team's best game in the last two matches, but I think he is still far from Chelsea's true expectations. Chelsea expects something bigger from Pochettino because after all 1 point in the previous matches against Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool is meaningless because Chelsea can still easily lose points against weaker teams.

I agree that Pochettino is in progress, but acceleration is certainly hoped for because if not then Chelsea will be further behind and will struggle to be in the top 10 for a long time. Ending the season in the Champions League zone is the target, but I'm sure Chelsea has not been convincing enough to prove it.

Chelsea is performing well right now and they are giving it their best, they have not been defeated by top clubs in the league such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham, if they told you Chelsea will perform well this season you would not believe them, because they have not been in good form since last season, but I believe Pochettino has realized his mistakes and I believe he will continue to perform well in his coaching, they should just try to qualify for the Champions League next season because Manchester City or Arsenal should be losing points, but that cannot happen instead, they should compete for a place in the top four in the competition, in order for them to qualify. Chelsea will play Newcastle after the break let's see if they can play well and defeat Newcastle, giving them a chance to close the gap in the table, although I doubt Newcastle will not make mistakes to give Chelsea hope.

Yes, it cannot be denied that the EPL is the league with the tightest competition and the most competitors from top big clubs. So, every club is obliged to perform well and excel in whatever conditions. However, on the other hand, injuries to first line players at a religious club is a challenge in itself. For this reason, the coach must have the ability to change strategies as best as possible in times of urgency and choose the most suitable replacement. Even though they may not be as strong as the first line players, at least the club will not be so devastated when a main player is injured.
Regarding Tottenham, and other clubs too, when a player has just been injured, especially a fairly serious and long injury, of course this will not be good. Because after all, usually after injury, the performance may not be as good and strong as before. So there may have to be a little more adjustment, unless it's not a major or vital injury.
Undeniably, you are right. Injuries to important players tend to make it difficult for coaches to find suitable players to replace those players in the line up. Pep Guardiola had difficulty finding the right player to replace the injured De Bruyne, so he often rotated one player with another for the same purpose.

Yes squads depth is definitely the key to win the league. Without squad depth definitely run is gonna be a short one as the team can get into trouble if you are hit by injuries. Spurs do lack in some areas but the good thing is that their injured players will be back in January so not a big worry. Long term injuries would have affected them drastically though. The only thing they need to do is do their best until their players gets recovered.

The expectation of Chelsea fans from Pochetino is high. And anyone expecting something spectacular from Chelsea this season is not making a mistake. This is because Chelsea spent a huge amount of money to bring in new players and again Chelsea doesn't have so much matches to play this season. So the excuse of fatigue and injuries will not be there, just like what is happening to Newcastle United.

But Chelsea in practice has not been doing their best. Infact I wasn't puzzled at their match against the citizens. Chelsea played that match with the whole of their might and assuming they have been putting this type of efforts in every match, they would have been in top 4 by now.

There is new news regarding Sancho. Reportedly Juventus have the intention to use Sancho's services. Juventus are looking for information and want to borrow it. But it seems that Man United still have not given a definite response. They wanted Sancho to leave permanently. But if you borrow Juventus it also seems to be difficult because Sancho's salary is quite large. Actually this is the best moment for Sancho. He can leave and still continue his career and he can prove to Ten Hag if his decision was wrong.
It is a good offer for Sancho. Juventus is a big team in Serie A, they are competing for the title this season and they need a new winger. If we take a look on Juventus squad, they have lack of top wingers, they only have Federico Chiesa and Timothy Weah. Timothy Weah is injured now, there is no another winger who has the same quality. Moreover, when Juventus finish this season in the UCL zone, they will be busier in the next season. So, they need to improve the number of their quality player. It is a big chance for Sancho, I think he can play regularly again if he joins Juventus. I agree with you that it is a best moment, Sancho shouldn't miss it if he still cares with his career.  Wink

Chelsea have been keeping it real against top sides this season under Pochettino. The fact that Chelsea has been able to beat the league leaders and drawn last season’s treble leaders will instill some fear in their upcoming opponents. After watching Chelsea play against in form Arsenal, and Spurs, i feel like they have improved and with time, they’ll be formidable and other teams will take them seriously. That  performance  against Manchester city the is really our identity. This is the Chelsea we know. They showed great character when nobody believed in them. The boys will only get better under Pochettino. For now I think they should capitalize on this and get a run of wins which will build their confidence.
Not sure what to say about Chelsea, but they are starting to prove their worth. Chelsea have improved technically in recent games, which has clearly had a big impact on the player's confidence and motivation. Pochettino must maintain this form of play after convincing enough, but Chelsea are still unpredictable.

In the match against Manchester City, Pochettino placed Sterling in a best position on the left wing. He plays well there instead of rotating on the right wing, while Palmer can accelerate on the right to put pressure on his opponent's defence. This is a good strategy and the correct placement of players, but Pochettino still looks like he can change it because he still wants to find a really good formula.

English Premier League will become more tougher for Manchester City because Liverpool have enter the race for the EPL title and they won't hold back. Winning average teams have become more regular routine for the Reds, they have eyes on major trophies this season, they're not going to hold back but strive for significant improvement in performance. Liverpool have other priorities to accomplish this season, it's all matter of time before things will finally set in place for the club. Jurgen Klopp have plans for an upgrade this season, he's entirely working on some solid project at Anfield and there are more objectives to hits this season.
Things are heating up in England. Everyone is obviously in the race and the points difference between the teams is not so much. There is not much points difference between the top 5 and 3. Liverpool, on the other hand, have recovered and are doing well. If they hadn't drawn with Luton Town last week they could have been in the lead but they couldn't capitalize on it. It was a strange match and I honestly think that most of the people who bet on this match have made a wrong turn. Jurgen Klopp may ask for a few additional transfers at half time and Liverpool can become one of the biggest candidates for the championship.

If only in the last 5 matches Liverpool had wiped out the results with a win, maybe now they would be at the top of the standings with a total of 31 points and have a difference of 3 points from Manchester City. But unfortunately they failed to do so because they got draws against Luton Town and Brighton. However, even a 1 point difference is still good news for the Reds squad and they will certainly not give up on the increasingly intense title race between their competitors. On the other hand, Jurgen Kloop seems confident with his players who are finally starting to find their rhythm again and perhaps a few notes for Darwin Nunez so he can perfect his finishing in front of goal.

I prefer to say that at that time Chelsea players were at their best. and at the same time, Manchester City's defense played very poorly. in the end, this match ended in a draw. In the two matches they played, especially against teams whose performance was above them, Chelsea could really be said to be lucky and at the same time in their best performance. because if Spurs don't experience bad luck and City experiences a decline in performance at the back, it seems difficult to overthrow these two teams with Chelsea's current situation.

However, I don't underestimate Pochettino's team. In fact, I have repeatedly said that they have several players with potential. Unfortunately, several others were injured and their pure striker had difficulty finding the back of his opponent's goal. In the end, every match Chelsea plays there will always be doubts. Well, when Chelsea played against Spurs and City, Pochettino's squad played with nothing to lose. The results were beyond our expectations. I guarantee, in the two matches that Chelsea played against Spurs and City, there were many gamblers who lost. btw, as I said, don't get your hopes up if Chelsea's center forward is still the same.

In the next match, Chelsea will play an away match against Newcastle. In this match, Chelsea must take advantage of the condition of the home team which is underperforming in its 2 matches with defeats in different competitions. Regarding Chelsea's future this season, I am still very doubtful. except, the players who suffered injuries recovered fully. especially, for some core and talented players. So, let's just follow what Poche will do in the match against Newcastle.

Maintaining consistent performance amidst player injuries is very difficult. Some reserve players cannot always be relied on every match because their performance is unstable, so player injuries will always be considered detrimental. A decline in performance is possible due to a storm of injuries, this also happened to Manchester United and Manchester City in several matches.

Tottenham is a team that could possibly compete fiercely for the Premier League title this season. I don't expect Manchester United to do the same if Ten Hag doesn't find his team's best form, but Arsenal and Liverpool will both struggle to break Manchester City's dominance. Manchester City is still the best, but the competition will be very tight this season.

West Ham ended their bad run this week and beat their opponent 3-2 at home and managed to win again after 4 weeks. We can say that they struggled in the match because they played a league match after the European match. Although they took the lead in the 3rd minute with Paqueta, they conceded a goal towards the end of the first half and the first half ended 1-1. In the second half, Forest scored the first goal and went 2-1 up but West Ham equalized 2 minutes later. The winning goal came from Soucek in the last minutes.

I think for Chelsea this is a big turning point,we cannot call it otherwise, they devastated Tottenham one week before and on Sunday they completely dominated the midfield and made Manchester City look like a below average team as they were failing all duels in the midfield. If this is not a turning point I don't know what this is,we have the International break on this week unfortunately and this can impact Chelsea negatively but I think most likely they will continue on this good run and the only one to be congratulated for this is surely Pochettino,it is his hand that is starting to be felt in Chelsea game play.

There is progress, and we can say for sure that Pochettino managed to strengthen the attack, but two matches are too few to say that something has changed significantly for the team! Although the game with City showed that the team spirit is at a high level. I said that Pochettino needs time and he will make a great team with Chelsea, we see this now, the team is progressing, but there is still a lot of work.

This is what makes Premier League is the most exciting league in the world. Teams who wants to challenge for the title need to prepare in every aspect required for a long competition with many competitors who have same level of quality. A quality Squad Depth is one key for a team to win the league. Tottenham dont have this factor. when they lost their important players, their form drop instantly. with this situation they have, I dont think Tottenham will stay competing for the title. finishing top 4 is an achievement for them.

The EPL has 25 matches left and I think the competition will increase as the season progresses, the absence of important players in a team can never be predicted. I think that among the many good fortunes that have been created, the integrity of the squad without any injured players is one of them. It is very likely that changes to the standings will occur in the 13th week after the international break, because Man City will face Liverpool. If the two draw, as we can see, Arsenal will benefit, and so will Tottenham.

On the other hand, the most productive team currently in the EPL is Man City with 32 goals, while Liverpool and Arsenal are the two teams that have lost the least and conceded the least. The list of temporary top scorers is still led by Haaland with 13 goals, overshadowed by Salah in second place with 10 goals. These statistics will continue to change, and there will be lots of surprises in the next 25 matches.
