I agree with you that this season is really difficult for Chelsea to finish in the top four of the standings, so they can qualify for the Champions League next season. The most reasonable target for Pochettino squad is to finish in the Europa League zone, because we know these two matches are promising but we cannot fully believe that this is a turning point in their performance.
Does that mean Chelsea will not be able to advance to the Champions League until the year 2025, which is even under probability because they have to be at the top 4 next year, this is serious and ridiculous from a club that always end the season either in top four for Champions League or Europa but seems their faith has change this time around but it's not late yet, they are only 3 teams away from achieving that goal with little margin of points on standing.
On the other hand, I am quite sure that this season The Blues can finish in a more decent ranking than last season, I can't imagine their spending in the transfer market being so large if they fail to improve their performance so that they can finish in a better ranking.
However, Pochettino efforts should be appreciated, perhaps his tactical qualities are now better than Ten Hag. Although we will never know in the future the Blues might slump again when faced with a mediocre club.
What if they repeat what they did to Manchester City last month? Or don't you think? Not even a single player from Chelsea went to injury in that match despite how to it was for them. I think it's logical to say that Manchester City were the scared team in the match because it look exactly like they met their match, everything send was sent back and every goal scored was equalized.
Except for faith and football surprises, Chelsea is even better right now than Manchester United if we only consider their last two performances, Manchester united are showing signs of going down across the table than even Chelsea we think are not too good to make it to top 4.
