Yes, this is the right time for Chelsea to take the opportunity when the situation of big clubs is having a very busy schedule to appear in the Champions League and from the last few appearances Chelsea has shown quite good performance after being able to keep up with big clubs like Arsenal, they are more confident to continue to get additional points to secure their position and the next match Chelsea will play against Brentford and from this match I predict it will likely end in a draw because even though Brentford is not very strong, I am quite sure Brentford knows Chelsea's weaknesses so it will be a little easier for Brentford to score while Chelsea also doesn't want to lose this match.

The only loss and two draws the spurs had this season in the premier league were both away games, and palace is known to be a hard nut to crack at home so it's very possible the spurs may draw or have a very hard time winning and if they succeed in snatching three points from palace tonight, I don't expect more than two goal because palace is really going to be tough and wouldn't allow themselves concede so much at home.

The situation for Chelsea is not good at all because even after selling many players and rebuilding whole the team still they can't be on the top side of the table. However, Chelsea in the last three games we saw from them was much better than before and there is a chance for this team to have better performance time after time when they get back in good shape because after making so many changes in this team, Chelsea, obviously needed more time to have better performances.

The last five matches by Crystal Palace, they can only score one goal against Manchester United, it's almost looks impossible for them to win since Tottenham are in good form.

I thought with the departure of Harry Kane the club would begin to struggle but this is not the case. They have not lost any match in now game and have conceded just eight goals. Crystal Palace has not been doing badly this season but they are not in the same class with Tottenham.  In nine games they have won, drew, and lost three games respectively.

Crystal palace last weekend suffered a loss against Newcastle, it was really bad enough forroy hodgson to have mentioned how awful the performance was, I doubt if palace will survive to keep up their trend as you did mention meeting Tottenham, the swift attacking style of son will be another advantage the spurs will be having over palace but they have the home advantage, let's hope they use it well enough.
