Arsenal indeed played a very good football weekend and just as I said in my earlier comment,  Asernal is currently following their previous partten in the premiere,  but although,  Manchester city was taken unaware by the Asernal players and to a great extent,  Manchester City tried in multiple attempts to make an equalizing goals before the end of the March.

But unfortunately for them,  the lost it out and that is a great lose for the club since at most,  the could have manage a draw game instead of the lost game they played in this weekend as a defending champions.
It looks like Arsenal is able to avenge their defeat last season by beating Manchester City in today's match. The Arsenal squad is really strong and their mentality is very ready when facing an equally strong team. I saw previously that someone said that Arsenal would have difficulty in this match because they were without Saka. But Arteta can rely on other players and managed to get 3 points in today's match.

Manchester City is indeed quite strong, but if Haaland has difficulty developing his game on the front lines, there is a big possibility that they will achieve unexpected results in the match they are playing.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been so consistent this season they have not tasted defeat this season. Both of them have the same statistics in their performances because they both achieved two draws. Tottenham only excelled in goal productivity so they managed to sit at the top of the rankings this week.
It seems like Arsenal's stars aligned yesterday. Beating Man City? It was no easy feat. Many Arsenal fans believed they would lose to City without Saka. They were so wrong! Smart manager Arteta pulled a rabbit out of the hat. Using other players and getting 3 points without a major player? Genius!

The deflection off Ake made Martinelli's goal exhilarating, though it was lucky. Seeing Manchester City lose two Premier League matches in a row, especially given their dominance in the last five years, makes me feel euphoric and a little resentful. Isn't it refreshing to see titans fall occasionally? Adds spice to the Premier League!

It looks like Arsenal is able to avenge their defeat last season by beating Manchester City in today's match.
A single win against Man City isn't equal to the loss of winning the EPL title in the previous season. I still can't call it the avenge! If Arsenal really beats Man City in the race of winning the title this season, then I will call it an avenge. However, the win against Man City will boost the morality/mentality of Arsenal players. They will be more confident to join the race for the title, they will assume that they are stronger now. But I really expect that Arsenal players won't be satisfied too early.

The Arsenal squad is really strong and their mentality is very ready when facing an equally strong team. I saw previously that someone said that Arsenal would have difficulty in this match because they were without Saka. But Arteta can rely on other players and managed to get 3 points in today's match.
They look stronger but they need to maintain their good performance.
I hope they won't experience the same thing in the second half of this season. Usually, Arsenal often decreases their performance significantly in the second half of the season.

I think they have shown their sense of revenge even though this is a match that hasn't strengthened us enough to say that they have shown their consistent form, but this victory is a moment of revenge. Look arteta and pep they didn't look at each other when they shook hands after this match finished.

Arsenal has developed a stronger sense of competition this season. In fact, in this season we will see several other teams that become obstacles for Arsenal and Manchester City. Tottenham is one of them, they are very comfortable with the current situation.

Well, the season is still long and the victory achieved by Arsenal in the match against Manchester City is a good start for them to strengthen their hopes of winning a trophy this season.

Hmmm... I hope this is not just a victory, but a whole turning point in the current season. If you look at the game schedule, you can see that by this time City’s game calendar was quite easy (at least easier than that of their opponents). And now they have fewer points than Arsenal and Tottenham. I hope that in future more difficult games City will continue to lose points and some other club will win the title.
I'm really looking forward to the bookmakers' quotes - to be fair, Arsenal should already be the favorite.
The fact that Manchester City lost to Arsenal is a clear indication that they will be unable to retain their premier league crown season after season. I sincerely doubt that Manchester City will once again be a premier league powerhouse. Premier League teams are starting to figure out how to neutralize Manchester City's dominating strategies in every game. Currently, Haaland is playing less effectively in games as a result of Kelvin Bruyne's injury absence. Those lovely passes that Manchester City employs to score against their opponent are not being made by anyone on the team.

What’s interesting is that bookmakers have a radically different opinion:

Manchester City 1.73

Arsenal 5.00

Liverpool 6.50

Tottenham Hotspur 13.00

In fact, I'm surprised because City are in decline and they're not even leaders in the Premier League. In my opinion, such quotes are unfair. And if we talk about the money bet, I wouldn’t risk it now for 73%; the bet on Arsenal looks more reasonable.

Liverpool drew away to Brighton and left 2 points on the table. Despite leading at half time they couldn't hold on to their lead and drew. I wouldn't have expected Brighton, who conceded 6 goals against Aston Villa, to be too focused in the Liverpool game but it looks like they recovered from that heavy defeat with ease. Both teams had European commitments during the week and were visibly tired.
In another game with the same scoreline Newcastle drew 2-2 away to West Ham. Newcastle, who managed to beat PSG with an excellent game during the week, failed to win this away game despite taking the lead. Despite losing the first half, Newcastle started the second half fast and scored 2 goals in 5 minutes with Isak, but they couldn't prevent the goal in the last minutes and drew.
Of course being tired from the european games are a factor but it shouldn't be an excuse. Although Brighton away was difficult, Liverpool had chances to get the 3 points but couldn't take them. Likewise, Brigton were the team that came close to 3 points. However, it's a shame for Liverpool that they couldn't get the 3 points in this difficult away game. This is the Premier League even where every attack counts, not every game. Adingra has been in great form lately. Brighton can't play this kind of football in Europe, but in the Premier League they continue to impress. Brigton are very different from other mid-level teams both in the mentality of their coaches and in their dynamism.

After taken the lead at the end of the 1st half I had expected Liverpool to win the match but they came back in the 2nd half  just to throw away the lead, couldn't keep this Brighton side down. With a striker instinct Dunks' shot changed the scoreline to a stalemate draw in the 79 minutes giving Brighton an equalizer.  Liverpool could have won this match but they gambled away with a few of their chances in the second half. One will say it's only okay they didn't lose the whole 3 points to Brighton.

Brighton vs Liverpool ended 2-2 draw tie at the Amex stadium. Roberto De Zerbi seemed to be dissapointed with the current results of the game. He expected his team to record thrilled winning but reversed was the case. Jurgen Klopp have messed up his opportunity to climb to second spot on EPL table. I'm tired of this come-back, basically the Reds allowed Brighton to be the first on scoringsheet, they survived the comeback but couldn't hold on the seagulls in the second half, after much pressure on the Reds territory, goal was conceded.  Perhaps it's better balanced for an elite team to lose to average side.
There were around 3 draws in the EPL yesterday out of 4 different match fixtures which the fourth game game been played between Arsenal vs Manchester City which we all thought was also going to end a draw just like the first three matches of the day but fortunately for Arsenal Martinelli at the 86mins jailed a goal obstructing the serial draws of the Sunday matches. In essence what am trying to say is that Liverpool has had most of their wins this season from  comebacks  which many of us had never complained about their trend of winning matches not until now the comeback wasn't successful with the Brightons' and now you-all complaining.  If you ask me a draw wasn't much of a bad result for the Reds yesterday.

Of course this is an important victory for Arsenal. But what's interesting is that currently Man City has lost three consecutive matches in domestic competition. Newcastle 1-0, Wolves 2-1 and Arsenal 1-0.

Man City It seems that without players like De Bruyne and Rodri, Man City lacks creativity in the middle. Haaland again failed to score a goal because he was locked in by Lintasa and Gabriel.

A very intense, tight and hard match. Kovacic should have received a red card because of his 2 hard tackles. Respect for Arsenal who remained patient in looking for opportunities. Even though the goal was a bit of a luck factor because it hit Ake's head, a win is still a win. The EPL competition this season looks like it will be tight until the end of the season, and we hope that Arsenal will continue to be consistent so that it doesn't happen again like last season, when they didn't concentrate anymore at the end of the season.

It's true that Arsenal is a little luckier if the ball doesn't hit the opponent maybe the situation is different, but apart from that moment Arsenal deserved to win for their efforts in the second half. I don't follow news about Manchester City so I don't know what's going on within the team however, from what I saw yesterday it seems City played less aggressively and was less effective how is it possible that they only had 4 chances and only 1-2 dangerous attacks. If Manchester City continues to play like this then I'm sure they will fall behind in the standings.

Many people had been waiting for Arsenal's victory the day before and it really happened. Manchester City, who lost points in 2 consecutive matches, really struggled in that match because Arsenal performed well throughout the match. This actually didn't occur to me, but Manchester City's defeat means it is unlikely they will succeed in defending their title again this season.
Yeah, I figured Manchester City would have a tough time against Arsenal at the Emirates. Arteta's tactics were much better; he made the right call by having William Saliba mark and neutralize Haaland, which contributed to Arsenal's victory.
I still can't accept the lose against Arsenal, the goal scored by Martinelli isn't really a matter and it's an unintentional mistake by Ake, but how it's possible there's no goal scored by Manchester City

Manchester City is an offensive club, it will not gonna work if they play with defensive strategy. I think Pep is only want to score a goal and hold until the times run out, this is not Manchester City that I know.
That's just how football goes sometimes, you have to accept it. There are instances when a stronger and better-playing team can still end up losing. However, in yesterday's match, Manchester City didn't perform all that well, so a poor result was pretty much expected.

This season, the most surprising team is Tottenham. After selling Harry Kane, everyone thought the club would fall out of the top 10.  Few Tottenham fans could have believed they would top the league, Tottenham has remained an "unknown" since the new season began. They are having their best start to the season since 1960. I wonder why they are so good when they lose a key player and don't bring in more quality players. Son Heung-min is a prominent name this season, and he has replaced the central striker position as Tottenham's symbol. He was perfectly recreated at the hands of Postecoglou.
The start of this season has been very good for Tottenham because so far they are one of the clubs that have not even tasted defeat in the first 8 matches this season because they managed 6 wins and 2 draws.
The doubts about Tottenham were quite reasonable at first because this is the same as what happened to Madrid when Benzema left so doubts must exist but of course with Tottenham's performance as it is now it should be a little less worrying.
Son has been the backbone of the team's play at the start of the season, and Maddison has also been excellent as he currently leads the list of assists.

The problem is that sometimes Tottenham are just like Arsenal where the rise and fall of their performance is sometimes not too predictable where they will be very good but in one game sometimes they can just be bad and actually start their destruction, Last season happened for Tottenham which made them thrown to 8th place at the end of the season hopefully this season will not happen the same thing.

Yeah it was an important win for Arsenal and they still hold an unbeaten record, I would be happy if another team could destroy Manchester City's dominance and that should happen in the Premier League because there are several strong teams there. Arsenal might do the same thing as last season but I am worried about their performance at the end of the season, we know last season Arsenal almost won the title but they missed an important opportunity at the end of the season, so Manchester City managed to take advantage of this opportunity. Arsenal managed to maintain a very impressive rally this season because in 8 matches they managed to maintain their performance as well as possible. If you look at Arsenal's game in this match, they managed to show a brilliant performance because to be able to beat Manchester City you need a good pattern of play in attack or defense. The narrow victory with a score of 1-0 indicates how tight this match was. But for Manchester City they reaped bad results in the previous match and Arsenal can take advantage of that to extend Manchester City's bad streak. Arsenal were able to cover this week with impressive expectations but I want to see them be consistent throughout the season and not repeat mistakes like last season.

1 goal from Martinelli is enough to prove how strong they are this season. Arteta praised his players to the skies after winning points in this match. Because the players were able to put in a good effort in the second half to improve their game. The competition at the top of the standings is getting more and more interesting, especially as these three teams are quite close on points so Manchester City could return to the top of the standings if Arsenal and Tottenham are not able to maintain their best performance. Arsenal also need to improve their performance in the Champions League this season as the defeat to Lens was quite a surprise for us.

Losing is still losing and it must be admitted that when Man City doesn't have Bruyne the game becomes completely difficult to control. What I mean is that Haaland movements were closely monitored by Saliba and Haaland had almost no room to move, plus he had a minimal supply of balls. Because usually Haaland will be more effective if Bruyne actively opens up space and supplies the ball. Seeing Pep Guardiola look annoyed and disappointed because this result makes Man City's record open up even more opportunities for other clubs. Despite this narrow defeat, I think Arsenal is motivated to get back to where they were last season. Arteta really showed that his strategy this time succeeded in completing Pep Guardiola's tactics.
It must be admitted that Arsenal played better than Manchester City in this match and they deserved to win, but apart from that, it is true as @Despairo said that in this match Manchester City did not play as usual and in fact they tended to play defensively and also on the line. Their front wasn't very aggressive so Manchester City couldn't score any goals in this match.

I really regret the result of this match and it is really far from my prediction, I bet big and made a mix parlay by choosing goal over in this match, and it's a shame that my mix parlay only got 1 wrong, namely in this match, I really really really disappointed.

Lose in premier league 2 times in a row i think this is an alert to Manchester City because before starting the league they seems hard to beated by other premier league teams but surprisingly Wolves this season is the first team who able to beat them and now Arsenal has successfully to managed their good records from them win with narrow score however i didn't watching the match between Arsenal vs Manchester City but recently i just watching the highlight of this match but i just wondering what happend to Haaland because during that match he didn't gets much opportunities to scores goals and i have been notice since De Bruyne got injured Haaland performance a bit decrease and in the last 3 matches with Manchester City Haaland even was unable to scores

Manchester City has started to lose its balance. The first defeat after being beaten by Wolves really surprised many people, but it's natural because Manchester City didn't bring out their mainstay players like Haaland to maintain their stamina when facing the Champions League against Leipzig. Because of the close distance, Pep Guardiola chose a strategy not to include them. Haaland was in the game so Manchester City had to accept being beaten by a weak club like Wolves.

Regarding Arsenal's victory yesterday, it was extraordinary even though the first half of the match was quite boring because both clubs had not scored a goal and finally Gabriel Martinelli was able to score the winning goal in the 86th minute for Arsenal. Thanks to this victory, Arsenal managed to rank second and Manchester City was ranked 3rd for the time being.

I'm suprised to see that some Manchester United fans are beginning to praise Manchester United after the fine header assist he gave to Scott McTominay to make them win the match against Brentford, Harry Maguire is the most backlashed player in the team, due to his very poor performances and lack of confidence in his previous matches, but he's currently receiving praises by same fans that's been criticising him, well I don't blame the Manchester United fans, because if he had performed better no one would've backlashed but praised him like they're doing currently.

If a player deserve some credit for his involvement in the game, then he should be rightly given such credits. Manchester United had been behind and would have suffered another humiliating home defeat if not for the two goals scored by McTominay.

Concerning Maguire, his input in the final moments of the game was pretty significant and helped McTominay score another goal putting Man United ahead and ultimately winning the game. It’s really not surprising that fans would give Maguire some credit.

Arsenal beat Manchester City in the Premier League after 15 years. I mentioned earlier that the most important players for Arsenal are Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. Both players were sidelined with injuries and unlikely to play but Gabriel Martinelli was brought off at one point in the match and that was the right decision for Arsenal. The Brazilian superstar sealed Arsenal's win against Manchester City with a brilliant short at the very end of the game. The celebration after Martinelli's goal was a sight to behold. It's natural for them to celebrate like this because they haven't won against this team in 15 years in the Premier League.

Arsenal beat Manchester City at the Emirates stadium, the Premier League standings underwent changes in the eighth week. Both teams played with strength and tried to gain the upper hand in possession of the ball, both had difficulty penetrating the opponent's defense even though they took turns attacking each other. Arteta moved quickly after his team had difficulty penetrating the Manchester City defense, he tried to change the line-up and brought on Gabriel Martinelli at the start of the second half.

Martinelli presence further enlivened Arsenal attacks, he was also the actor in Arsenal victory after successfully breaking into Manchester City goal. Arsenal who lost to Manchester City last season in the EPL title race will try to provide competition to make up for their failure this season. Now that Arsenal is two points ahead of Manchester City, they need to maintain their best performance to maintain their position and keep their distance from Manchester City.

Arsenal win was like luck when Martinelli kick hit Nathan Ake so Ederson was a little surprised when he saw the ball go in the other direction.

TBH, I was a little disappointed when Ake had a wasted opportunity and could not kick the ball on target and Alvarez actually had quite chance but failed to score. but its natural that Arsenal won for the first time because this was luck and I also saw that Haaland did not have space to score when Arsenal defense was always watching Haaland.
Its quite impressive that yesterday match was very fierce and ended with Arsenal luck.

currently, Man City is a little confused about losing the last 2 matches and this should put pressure on Guardiola to look for this problem and look for ways to use other strategies to continue chasing first place in the EPL standings.
As the game is between Arsenal and Manchester City and as Manchester City have won four out of the last five matches and the current Arsenal squad has injuries to key players, like you I was rooting for Manchester City but we lost to luck. Martinelli's goal took everyone by surprise as his kick went straight off the post rather than possibly hitting another player's head, sealing Arsenal's win against Manchester City after long time.

Manchester City have lost two matches in the Premier League as predicted but they still disappointed the fans. Manchester City will have to get back to winning ways soon, otherwise Manchester City will fall far behind the other teams in terms of points.

The Manchester City manager has already started planning for the next match against Brighton.
When Arsenal get ahead 1-0  by Martinelli, there was a sense of excitement among the Arsenal fans in the gallery. Beating Manchester City they took the second place in the points table which I also don't expect but not impossible. The upcoming match is definitely going to be a turning point for Manchester City. If they lose, their standings will drop further. It will be very difficult for them to recover from the position. No one could have imagined that this would be the case for the team that had led the team for the past 2 consecutive sessions. The defeat of two matches one after another made them very worried. The pressure will be on Pep Guardiola to play against Brighton in the upcoming match.

Arsenal's last win over Manchester City was not 15 but 8 years ago, in 2015. It was a Premier League win, and Arteta's Arsenal had already beaten Manchester City in the FA Cup and Super Cup.

In general Arsenal were a bit lucky, because in the 1st half they didn't have a single shot on goal and probably should have suspended Kovacic for such a roll under Edegor. In general, again strange refereeing decisions, because then Kovacic also continued to play hard and he was not suspended or shown a second yellow.

I don't expect Manchester City to retain the Premier League title this season, that would obviously be very bad for another team that has also spent a lot of money building its squad. But we can't be sure that Manchester City will fail this season because we all know the competition is not that far away. There are 30 other matches that each team has to play including Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool, so I can't expect much from them since the 4 teams are only separated by 2 or 3 points.
Guardiola must be able to correct this mistake because he has experienced two consecutive defeats, this is not good but in my opinion this is only the beginning of the season, just look at Arsenal last season how they played well at the start of the season and finally at the end of the season played very badly, after all Manchester City not playing with some key players like Rodri and Bruyne, I think the next meeting will be more complete.

For me, this is a defeat that doesn't hurt too much because there is still time to win the title this season, it's okay with a less than good start to the season because we won't know how their team can maintain its performance until the end of the season, Manchester City will learn from the defeat This is to get better even though Haaland is sometimes always unable to score goals when facing a balanced opponent.
