The rumors seemed too misleading to be true, so I wouldn't easily believe what I read above. Manchester City are not expected to fail to defend their title this season for the fifth time in a row, but their performance so far has been very mixed and is likely to drop points easily. It is very unlikely that Manchester City will fire their great coach just because they failed to defend their title this season, but I am sure they will provide more spending money for Pep so they can strengthen their team again next season.

Since Rodri was injured, Pep Guardiola has really had difficulty finding a good defensive midfielder. The team's performance was very chaotic and they could not win the match as expected. This is definitely not a good sign for them this season in their efforts to defend the title, but it is a good sign for other teams because this is the only way they can make Manchester City fail to record a history of 5 consecutive titles in the Premier League.

I agree with you that what Chelsea management really needs from Enzo Maresca this season is for him to end the season in the top 4, they just want Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League. They are not fighting for Chelsea to win the Premier League title this season, and with the way Chelsea's performance has been good, if they can continue with their good performance, then they should be able to end the season in the top 4. Chelsea are currently in 3rd position, which I never believed Chelsea would be at this their current position, but their performance has been good, and they really deserve to be at the position.

Finishing in the Champions League zone is a realistic target for Chelsea, but their chances of becoming a title challenger are still open. The same goes for Arsenal and Manchester City, although they are currently experiencing a decline in performance. In the last two seasons, Chelsea have not played in the Champions League, Enzo Maresca is likely to make it happen this time if he can maintain consistency until the end of the season.

Of course, it is not easy to maintain a position in the top four of the standings until the end of the season, the competition looks tighter this season. Just after we saw bad performances from Manchester City I saw the news that Manchester City wanted to get their coach Pep Guardiola fired from this team and this made us worried because he was having good performances for years and tried to do his best for Manchester City during the time since he started working there.
Now it seems after he extended his contract with Manchester City he proved to us and that he is not going to run away and he won't let Manchester City alone.
I think the only thing they should do in Manchester City is now just give Guardiola more tools and start hiring more players to improve the team.

Enzo Fernandez is a Chelsea player, not the coach. I know what you mean is Enzo Maresca, he is the current Chelsea coach. So try fixing it so it's correct.

Basically every contracted coach has big plans for their first season, especially if they are contracted by a top team. Chelsea need to improve their performance this season if they want to qualify for next season's Champions League, so it may be true that their main target this season is not the title. Qualifying for the Champions League is certainly a good achievement for Chelsea that they should strive for, but I am sure this will be difficult and not as imagined.

Brighton almost scored more than just a goal in the first half. The Brighton players really understand the strategy that the Southampton players are playing with because it has not changed all season even though they have not had the best result in more than the first ten games that they have played this season. They have some really good players like Diblling and Archer that can sprint attack, but they have to be more clinical whenever they are able to get the chance to score. If Brighton win this game, they will be in second position as the weekend fixtures begin.
Second half discussion for the Brighton coach will be that his players try to get another goal so they can be more comfortable because if Southampton scores, that can make them uncomfortable and under pressure to make mistakes.

The big investments Brighton made last summer truly look worth it after this season's performance. Currently second, with 25 points already in their bag, they demonstrate their ability to vie for the top position in the Premier League. For a club that was not seen to be this competitive at this level, this is certainly a big step, but only with more investment in January.

Well with the current stats it's definitely a free odd but no matter the reputation that Manchester city have gotten for themselves will still make a lot of persons to try their own odd of 3.48+ just as icopress was also looking to throw in 300$ in favor of them to actually win the game which is what many gamblers have being doing and myself included but have yielded no results so I think going against Manchester city this time around is a very welcome idea for me although draw is something that won't be bad to consider too as city wouldn't want to lose again but will certainly not win Liverpool at anfield.

We should not be surprised that we all might be wrong at some point because the season is still fresh to predict. We should not write Arsenal off so early because they could actually come back in a good way when the majority of the players are back from injury. Also Man City should not be written off as well because that is the biggest team in England now or the most informed team because there have been doing it for the past seasons. It is not difficult for a team under the management of Pep Guardiola to recover overnight and bounce back to their best level. As we all predicting the downfall of Manchester City and writing them off, they could simply do a u-turn and everybody will be surprised. They have the capacity to do that and we are aware of it.

Also, I expect a good result for Chelsea this season. Even if they can't win the league, they could go to the champions league.

Chelsea has no direct competition with Arsenal,  I believe that was the long plan when Enzo Fernandez was appointed ashead coach of Chelsea. Finishing top four amongst the first club for thr next Champions league competition next season is something they've always looked up to. More games are still there to play, I believe with the way they have done well against the top clubs they're deff qualifying for the CL Competition next season.

I was surprised to see Arsenal in that 22 position. One thing I understand in Arsenal football is that, they would start well and end bad. Arsenal performance in the beginning was wow! And because of the way their fans were upon others some of the people who have not join football team as a fans were joining but recently their performance became poor. According to analysis it is all because of the players that have injury in the club making them to perform poorly.
It was Manchester United started the bad performance in this season and later Arsenal join then lately Manchester City has join them. But we have to see the second game of Manchester United to predict their coach next matches.

With the way Brighton spent money this off-season, it would be weird if they ended up getting something less anyways. I believe we are going to see this changing for the long term and that wouldn't really be a big deal at all, it would be a normal situation without a doubt.

We need to focus on how to get better deals on the long run, and for that to work out we can't really be considering how to make that move. I believe we need to consider how Brighton is doing good, fifth place is of course great, but we can't say it was unexpected, based on the transfers and the amount of money they were spending, it was obvious from the start of the season that they were aiming at getting a good result this season, hence why they spent that much money.

There are some level of confidence I have seen with some teams this season, Southampton is one them. One minute they look weak and then the next minute they score goal, in most of their home matches they make sure they don't remain the scapegoat but shows their opponents what they made up even if they lose. What kills their team is their defense isn't that serious, their heat map shows they focus more on attack than they defend in most of their games.

I think Southampton can't really escape this relegation thing, 1 win out of 12 games is a total failure. You don't win games with oy attack, you strategies with deceptive defense together and that's what they are playing here with Brighton which they have concede, same strategies in most of their matches, they are going to lose this one too definitely because Brighton is on form in their last two games and they can't escape what's coming in this match.

Previously, Southampton really overwhelmed Liverpool at St Mary's Stadium. The final score in that match clearly proves that Southampton can never be underestimated by any opponent, even if in the end Southampton loses. In my opinion, the away match against Brighton is difficult for both of them, but Brighton, who is playing at home, looks like they will take advantage of the home advantage to win 3 points.

For the first half, Kaoru Mitoma just scored a goal to give Brighton the lead. Their chances of winning are getting better after winning 1-0, but this is only the first half. Brighton excels in creativity and they are quite reliable in building more attacks than Southampton, but Southampton dominates possession of the ball.

The reason why I think what is in that image is likely possible to happen is because before April 2025 Manchester City may likely drop more points than we have seen happening already and Liverpool and Chelsea who is in good form right now will take the advantage to gap Manchester City very well. Most teams that has suffered a set back in the league stayed for a full season some teams even go as far as experiencing bad results for two seasons from what Manchester City is going through right now I don't see them coming out soon unless their coach will take a bow and allow a new manager to try another strategy to the team.

Chelsea finish aged of Arsenal this season is very possible, Arsenal is not always consistent no matter how good their performance is in every season so I think with the current form of Chelsea they are likely going to overtake Arsenal in the table but Chelsea can't win the league this season.

Meanwhile, halfway through the season there are still no significant obstacles for Liverpool but I think this still cannot be said to be easy. At the moment they still have to continue to maintain their performance, besides that the season is still very long and all possibilities can still occur for the journey in the race for the trophy so this still cannot be said to be easy for Liverpool if their target is the champion.

Manchester City are currently in a condition that is not very good but seeing their traces and performance in the last 2 seasons actually something like this is quite a treat that seems normal because they always feel like this first, which in the end for the end of the season they always become champions and retain the trophy they have.

A situation like this could also be the same for this season where now they are in bad shape but their half of the season will be scary just like last season so Liverpool must not let their guard down if their target this season is the champions trophy.

In a competitive championship like the English league, the team that maintains its consistency is the one that is entitled to approach the trophy and so far Liverpool has gone through 12 matches very well, on the other hand Man City is struggling with a series of defeats, although still in second place, but the difference in points with the top of the standings will still be difficult to catch up especially if in their meeting later Guardiola's troops lose again, Liverpool will be very comfortable. Maybe it's time for City to release the trophy into someone else's hands this season. I don't see City being able to recover quickly.

In this season's English Premier League, I do not consider Arsenal as a good candidate to win the league. Although from the beginning, I have tipped them to be the favorite even ahead of Liverpool to contest the league with Manchester City. But with the development of things, it seems that Arsenal has given their best in the past two seasons which they were unlucky to win the English Premier League. Arsenal is not as strong as they used to be this season.

And the other hand the former coach of Liverpool J.Kloop will be surprised that Pep Guardiola could actually lose three straight matches. If he had such an opportunity, there is no that you would seal the English Premier League. Right now with the current form of Liverpool, they might actually be the champions.

Well come on this was nice slap in the face by Mourinho! But this what everyone likes about him to a certain degree. Sometimes he exaggerates to a point where I think he literally lost control over his emotions, but this jibe was quite funny. He should keep in mind though that Guardiola has a couple of titles more than him, but to his credit he won the Champions League with Porto and build this incredible Inter Milan team. I think those were two achievements that deserve the highest respect.

Mourinho sometimes complained that playing with Messi is an unfair competitive advantage and I think he has a point. Messi was beyond everyone else and won Barcelona so many titles. But then he had Real Madrid with prime Ronaldo and did not win the Champions League. They are all great coaches.
