Last season Leeds and Everton managed to avoid the relegation zone in a very dramatic way. Last season Leeds was ranked 17th and Everton was ranked 16th. These two teams even have almost the same points and are only 1 point different.

Everton may be able to escape from the relegation zone again like last season. But it looks like Leeds will have more trouble this season. Because there are only 2 matches left and of course if Everton and Nottingham no longer lose in the remaining matches then it is certain that Leeds and Leicester will be relegated.

I wouldn't be surprised if Leeds were relegated because even last season Leeds were almost relegated. But to be honest I really didn't expect Leicester to be in the relegation zone this season. Because in the past few seasons Leicester have actually performed quite well and have always been able to compete in the top 10 ranking area. sometimes even close to the top 5. but this season is the worst season for Leicester City.

Lead City is trying to avoid relegation zone, it is safe to say that the match was fair for them to open the match with a goal and close the match to equalized with Newcastle that was priviledge with a penalty. Newcastle should have done better though, but I think Lead City played well in the first half but all went under the water in the second half, Newcastle rule them throughout the second leg.

Chelsea can improve next season but first, they need a tough manager that would be under pressure to bring the players into form, they should also add more strikers with good track record that can make them proud, they will improve no matter what has happen to them this season.

Both Leeds and Nottingham Forest can very pleased with their results, when you are either of those two teams and you win a point in a game against Chelsea or Newcastle, you would think that you have some advantage over your opponents also trying to get away from relegation zone. That both teams played against top teams (Chelsea should be one, but isn't these days) and a point was won by both of them is quite telling what's going on right now. Newcastle is going astray again and Chelsea is doing what they have been doing the whole season. Manchester United is a winner this weekend because that was an important one right now after losing two in a row.

This season I would say they haven't been that good but last season they really played well under Ralph Hasenhüttl. They have some good players and some with potential which I am sure would look for new club now. It's really tough after getting relegated as its hard to keep the players the clubs want to keep and also convince good players into club participating in championship now.

Southampton have tried their best in every game they have played but they have not been able to show their best strength because the other team strength is stronger than them. after this passed from time to time and in the end Southampton became the first team to go down to the caste to the championship league this season. We may see two other teams follow in Southampton footsteps for the remainder of the season. I even see that Leicester City and Leeds have a point difference of 1 point but Leicester have the opportunity to shift Leeds ranking if they are able to win the next match.

Sincerely, i am not surprised as well as, I feel there is nothing to be shameful about, after all, a club has to be relegated, and it just happens to be Southampton at this time, if it wasn't them, it would have been another club, so I believe this will help them to work harder next season, and if getting more and better players is what they need, this will help them take that bold step next season.

Because one thing I believe in is that, in a game of strength and skill, one that is weaker in strength and less in skill will always bow, not matter how long they managed to endure the pressure, Southampton need more strong and skillful players to scale.

They've been in the relegation zone for a long time, and it's no surprise that they actually said goodbye to the league. They couldn't score points for a long time and almost couldn't even score. One of the most interesting things is that they scored 3 goals against Arsenal and they were able to score points from that match. I think this may be the day they scored the most goals in 1 game this year Cheesy

They were too weak to be in a tough league like the Premier League. I don't think they will play well enough to come back to the Premier League next year

Nottingham managed to go unbeaten by Chelsea this season, because in the two matches Nottingham against Chelsea this season both ended in draws. Yes, it's not too bad for Newcastle United because they can still score points even if it's only one goal, but it's still not a safe thought if you look at the next matches from Manchester United and Newcastle itself, this will be a difficult situation for Newcastle because they will face Brighton are quite strong and far above Leeds in their abilities. Of the three games left, Newcastle have two pretty tough ones against Brighton and Chelsea (haha), Liverpool have one tough game against Aston Villa. But Newcastle have a 4-point lead and I don't believe in a 9-game winning streak from Liverpool. This is not their season.
As for Chelsea, they ruined my prediction again today, but from the outside it looks like they are playing better - at least they started scoring goals. But it won't be enough for next season.

Southamton ultimately had to accept the harsh reality of having to be officially relegated at the end of the season after only stuck at the bottom of the standings. While Leicester, Leeds, Everton and Nottingham are still struggling to survive in the Premier League next season because mathematically two of four can still survive for next season. I still hope Leicester and Everton can be in the Premier League next season, but I tend to believe Leeds and Nottingham will be relegated eventually.

While today's match was very disappointing for Tottenham. They were defeated by Aston Villa with a score of 2-1, then Chelsea also had to end the match against Nottingham. The two teams above are currently very unstable, especially Chelsea, which is getting destroyed day by day.

24 and with the remaining 2 matches it is no longer possible for Southampton to escape from the relegation trap, and they must really play in the second tier next season. They can't make themselves better to get point after point in every game they play, and it's a bitter pill for them to be late with their relegation this season. It's been a really bad season for them.
