I think the best news for Pep Guardiola and his team is about two palyer they have Stones and Bernardo Silva. Both players are really important and effective for Manchester City.
Manchester City lost the game against Newcastle and I think having some players injured was the main reason for it but this time both players Bernardo Silva and Stones are back in the team and they are recovered from the bad situation they had.
Now Kevin De Bruyne is the only important injured palyer.

I'm looking forward to watching the Arsenal - Manchester City game at the weekend. Manchester City are favoured of course but the gap of odds isn't very big. Because Arsenal are also as good as them in the league these days. In terms of general quality and effort Manchester City are still one step ahead that's for sure.

But this time might be different. It depends on how Arteta will prepare his players for the game. Their last rendezvous here didn't end well for Arsenal if you remember. Arteta is Guardiola's student so maybe he can develop a new strategy to deal with them better this time.

It is a home game for Arsenal, which makes this game more interesting than I would otherwise expect. I think a game at Manchester City's would be a much harder task than this one. Arsenal is in great shape to go for it now, but this game also involves some desire for revenge for last season. If Arsenal beats Manchester City, I think it would allow people to dream again that Manchester City won't pull off a one team show this season again.

The team did well in the last year, despite the fact that they moved to 4th place in the standings at the last moment, I think this is a good result. So what is happening to the team now I think it is clearly not because of the coach, there are problems in the team that do not depend on Ten Hag, as a coach he fulfils his function, there is no need to change him. Although lately I don't agree with his policy at all...
Manchester United didn't do well in the beginning of the season last year and they are doing the same this season. In the last two games they lost unexpectedly vs Crystal Palace in EPL and Galatasaray in Champions League. Defensive errors are unforgivable in such highly intense competitions and injuries couldn't be an excuse there.
Their next two games aren't that hard before returning again in Champions League and facing just next Manchester City. I am not very optimistic about them in Champions League nor vs City.

Right now Manchester United team is in a very poor condition because of their inability to win matches shouldn't be much difficult for them but at the end they lose matches shamefully. Manchester United started off last season very bad but then it was understandable because their coach was trying to understand his players and the team very well but by now the team ought not to be struggling in winning matches under a manager that took them to third position in the league last season. I think the last two matches that Manchester United has lost was an error from Erik Ten hag because looking at the Palace game in the EFL cup Manchester United dominated the game and won 3:0, now playing the same team in the league what stops him from using the same players ?  United lost against Galatasaray at old Trafford again with a very poor performance that shows how confused the coach has become and how the team is not playing with confidence anymore.

Very sad to see that if liverpool was accepting unfair decision from what happeend due to the var. Var needs to be evaluated even more. It's caused by liverpool was not the only one. There have been many clubs were also getting disadvantage due to the var.
I think that this tech is not perfect yet being used in the EPL.
It looks like Liverpool will accept this decision or they will ask for a rematch. I admit that I am very annoyed with the decision because if it is confirmed, Liverpool will not experience defeat and they will still be on their best path in the Premier League. Several bad decisions have been given by referee Simon Hooper which cannot be accepted by Liverpool fans. As we can see, this match was colored by the many cards he issued in this match which made Simon Hooper considered unprofessional in carrying out his duties. Apart from that, Kloop seems to want this match to be replayed after the var case which annulled Luis Diaz's goal.

But we will see the competition this week where Liverpool will face Brighton in this match. I predict this match will be quite exciting considering that Brighton is quite strong this season. They are able to provide interesting resistance to their opponents. However, for Liverpool, they will first face Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the European league match which will take place tomorrow.

United were so-so all last season, only the urgent transfer of Casemiro improved the situation a little. This season, Ten Hag got everyone he wanted, for example, he got rid of the legend De Hea in favor of Onana, who is still showing a clown performance. And the results are only getting worse. In general, United play as if they have no coach at all.
Manchester United did signed last season, bringing in crucial players that changed game pattern and made made impacts for the team. Casemiro is a very good example of playees that enchanced the club. Perhapes united didn't make quite an impressive performance last season, inconsistent results in games though they earned themselves a significant position on EPL table by qualifying for top four. However this season, everything is different, they have one of the worst defeats run up in EPL and also UCL. Erik Ten Hag made hugh mistakes when he replaced David de Gea with André Onana who's probably not having the best moments in Old Trafford, conceding more goals against his opponents, the Red Devils are unbalanced in games.

David De Gea should have at least earned his place from Erik Ten Hag. With the Manchester United defense unbalanced, David De Gea still got to save Manchester United. He was also the only goal keeper with the highest saves who ended up winning the Golden glove in the Premier League.
Agreements with the club to take a salary pay cut and Man United didn't keep them part of the own deal.
This is not the moment of baseless arguments, Man United bought a second man for goal duties Onana can be dropped for a match or two.
Last season, that of Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez all improvede the sides.

Surely this will be a serious problem for Arsenal ahead of their big match against Manchester City later, Bukayo Saka's muscle injury problem is serious enough that he was pulled off the field in the previous match against Lens, and obviously this is a serious concern for Arteta because as we know Saka is one of the important players on their wing. Of course as you say this situation is really very unfortunate when they have to play a big team like Manchester City but they have to lose their key players. Oh well on the other hand I also heard that Arteta was a bit criticized by people for rarely giving Saka a break. Honestly, this is a big problem, and it's true that Arteta must quickly find a solution to this situation, or find a replacement that will not cause a significant void in Saka's absence in the next match against Manchester City. Playing at home in my opinion is a pretty heavy responsibility, even though they will play against the strongest team in the Premier League but still the situation at home seems to require them to achieve good results, agree a draw is not bad enough if victory is not possible.
Arteta is responsible for Saka's injury because he always starts Bukayo Saka every match, and even after being kicked down in an Arsenal match against Tottenham, Arteta still starts him in Arsenal's last Premier League game against Bournemouth. I expect Arteta to rest Saka against Lense so that he will be fully rested to face Manchester City, but he risks the player, and the player ends up getting injured and won't be able to face Arsenal's greatest rival Manchester City.

There is still hope for Arsenal to win the match since Manchester City also have injured players in the squad, and Arsenal can manage to play with Nelson and Trossard with either Jesus or Nketiah at the top, and they can get a result since their midfield is complete.

Arsenal has a good chance to take revenge on Manchester City because of what happened in the last season because in last season, Arsenal had a match against this team, and after winning the game Arsenal lost their hope for the rest of the season. Also, Guardiola and his team are the reason for Arsenal to lose the title in the last season.

I blamed Erik Ten Hag for everything that's happening to Manchester United, he made inappropriate signings this summer and he didn't mapped out the required spots for these new players, the exact thing Chelsea is having now. Manchester united passing through some tough moments in EPL, we the fans quite understand the entire situation in ground for Manchester United, we just hoped they're able to bounce back within range of time, because alot of things will go wrong if the board doesn't rectify these challenges which will grow bigger to become a barrier for Manchester United.

Well, yeah, I see. Ten Hag must take the responsibility and he must evaluate the team seriously, without his own ego having to come to the fore, Because after all, sometimes making decisions during a match is quite surprising and makes us ask a lot of questions. Well, not only that, the Man United players were also not as optimal as last season.

After yesterday's defeat against Crystal Palace, next week they should be able to do much better and win against Brentford. Even though we know that Brentford is sometimes quite troublesome.
Unfortunately, they may also still be devastated, especially with their defeat in the UCL yesterday against Galatasaray, they haven't even got a point in the UCL.

However, Man United's performance at the start of this season was quite disappointing. They may not be a bad club, but, they sometimes play very badly. Even when they have good opportunities, they cannot execute them well enough. Some of Man United's failures in previous matches were also quite surprising, and Ten Hag is someone who is quite responsible for that.

Manchester United were also not in good form in the beginning of last season, but they were better compared to this season; they had 12 points after their first six Premier League matches, and they won four against Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, and Leicester City after losing their first two matches against Brighton and Brentford, respectively, unlike this season, where they have just nine points after seven Premier League matches.

Arteta is responsible for Saka's injury because he always starts Bukayo Saka every match, and even after being kicked down in an Arsenal match against Tottenham, Arteta still starts him in Arsenal's last Premier League game against Bournemouth. I don’t know Arsenal is going to play without Bukayo Saka. Arteta is making the same mistake he made last season. How will you keep on using one particular player in all matches from the beginning of the season until the end? It's really bad and it's really going to affect the player. Arteta has started the same thing with Saka this season, Saka will be missing one of the matches in which Arteta needs him most. I don’t know how Arteta is going to arrange his squad, but the match will be difficult for Arsenal, i dont even think Arsenal will be able to win the match, but lets see what will happen in the match.
This will serve as a lesson to Arteta because he is making some errors that he is not admitting to, but this one is obvious and so many football pundits have been advising him to rest the boy in some matches that he feels are not too important to the team. As an Arsenal fan, I am not happy with this because I expected him to rest Saka, Rice, and even Jesus because of the Manchester City match.

Nevertheless, we can never give up because we have other players that can play Saka's role perfectly well, just that their quality differs and the fear Saka is causing in the minds of defenders is more than Nelson and Smith Row. But I think with Manchester City's injury list, Arsenal without Bukayo Saka should defeat them without fear because even with Manchester City's complete squad this season, Arsenal are ready for them.

Yes, the Saka injury will seriously affect the team's performances, but even if Saka is there, I am not sure maybe Arsenal can beat Manchester City because Arsenal is not better than Manchester City. But let's just see what will happen this weekend. Maybe we will get a surprise result that goes against the record of many seasons. I don't think Arsenal have been able to defeat Manchester City in the league for over seven years now; even though it happened, I don't think it will be up to two times. So even in their next game, I can't say Arsenal will win, but if possible, they can play a draw.

You never could tell, maybe they may stand chance of doing better if saka was among the squad to play against City, however city are currently better than Arsenal when it comes to their performance this season, the only thing Arsenal are better than then with is the fact that they're still unbeaten in the league, however  Arsenal had also had good performance so far and if they hadn't draw 2 of they games they would've been above City with like 3 points ahead.

Well If im to pick a side I'll go with City cause the got a better squad than Arsenal and moreover Arsenal would be without their star players well I think both teams would score the match might end with a 1-2 scores since Manchester City are the favorites to win the game.

It will be a tough match, but seriously, I am not expecting much from Arsenal that they will be able to win the match against Manchester City, despite the fact that Arsenal is in good shape. I always see that anytime the Arsenal squad is playing Manchester City, they are always playing them with fear. Arsenal boys are always lacking confidence that they will win Manchester City, so with that, they are always trying to play defensive games with Manchester City. I know that Manchester City is facing some challenges now, but I still believe that they are still better than Arsenal. Let us know that Manchester City losing against Wolves does not mean that they have lost form, but let us know that is how games work sometimes.
In this match, maybe Arsenal will play better because they are playing at home. Arsenal have also not tasted defeat in the Premier League so they will take advantage of the situation to maintain their best form in this match. As you have said, it is quite correct that Arsenal seemed to lack confidence when facing Manchester City, So Arteta must raise the mentality of the players in this match so that they are able to play at a better level than what they have done. This match is a big opportunity for Arsenal to take top spot from Manchester City if they can get 3 points. Hopefully the defeat to Lens doesn't haunt them in this match.

Although statistically their last 5 meetings in the Premier League were dominated by Manchester City victory. But still, in this match, Arsenal will try to beat Manchester City. Arteta must be able to exploit Manchester City weaknesses from their imbalance to be able to beat Manchester City in this match.

Arsenal will be playing hosts to Man City this weekend and honestly I'm not hoping on Arteta and his boys to win the game. Last week saw Man City being humiliated by a club no one expected to pull it off, Wolves and they are already seeing red. Like literally because they'd be planning on settling the scores with Arsenal who beat them to taking the community shield.
It will be a tough match, but seriously, I am not expecting much from Arsenal that they will be able to win the match against Manchester City, despite the fact that Arsenal is in good shape. Another fear that the Gunners might not be able to win against Man City is that Saka is out injured and one might argue that they can do fine without the English winger but we all saw how demoralized they were in yesterday's game after Saka got plagued by an Achilles heel injury that has been bothering him since the end of the 2022/23 season and this will see him missing the top of the table encounter with Man City.

Yes, the Saka injury will seriously affect the team's performances, but even if Saka is there, I am not sure maybe Arsenal can beat Manchester City because Arsenal is not better than Manchester City. This is a disadvantage for Arsenal in the upcoming match because Saka is one of the most important players in their squad. However, because Arteta did not make an early rotation, the big impact was the loss of Saka due to the injury he suffered when facing Lens. The Arsenal vs Manchester City match is quite a crucial match for both of them because both teams have injured players so it is believed that matches will be difficult to predict in this week's match. For Pep Guardiola, they will try hard to get back to winning ways after losing to Wolves the previous week.

Arsenal will probably take advantage of the situation in this match with the support of their supporters because this match will take place at the Emirates stadium. Apart from that, if you look at the temporary standings table, of course the final result of this match will make quite a big difference to their ranking this week. If Manchester City manages to win then they are quite safe at the top of the standings. But if they lose, there is an opportunity for Liverpool and Tottenham to move their ranking.

Another 2:3; 3:2 occurrence in today's earlier kickoffs. Shakhtar Donetsk came from a surprise 2-0 nil first half defeat to turn the game in their favor and honestly it was a thrilling performance. Not being impressive in their first game against Porto, the Ukrainian outfit lost  1:3 and I felt there was nothing for them when Antwerp netted two early goals but it seemed they had a big surprise for the hosts. That quick comeback will sure voost their morale and push them up to 3rd place with 3 points equal with FC Porto.

I used to wonder how Feyenoord were able to carry the eredivise title when there was Ajax but this game that unfolded today told me why. Honestly, if it wasn't for gowngood Atletico Madrid were, they would have lost to the Dutch club and one good trait the away team demonstrated was confidence and despite been matched goals for goals, they kept pressing on.
Antoine Greizmann netted a much needed equalizer in the 45+4 minutes of the first half, taking advantage of a slight confusion by Feyenoord and doing a very clinical acrobatic bicycle kick to send the ball flying pasts the safe hands of Wellenreuther. This win was a much needed one as it not only puts them at the top of their group, but it also means that whether they draw their next game with Celtic, they'd still be topping and automatically be candidates for the next round.

It seems that Arteta's decision was quite reckless in that match and now he has to lose a key player. Even though now is an important time for Arsenal to beat Manchester City with the main squad, Saka's absence due to injury makes that quite impossible. I think Nelsson is quite suitable to replace Saka and Trossard will probably be used as the left winger as usual.
