I wouldn't take into account the fans too much whether I let a player play or not. If a manager were to do that, what would be with all those players that weren't welcome when they newly joined a club? Let them sit on the bench only because the fans have a problem with the player? That is not a viable approach for any manager ever.

But Ten Hag making wrong decisions is the problem or maybe his training isn't good. I don't think that he lets the wrong players play all the time, but they don't perform well, which is more indicative of problems during the trainings.

Yeah it's a real issue when a player gets injured but we do have options like Rowe, Havertz, Nelson, Trossard who can do well playing at that position. It's about adaptability and Arteta needs to assess that before selecting the replacing player for Saka in the lineup. I think Arteta is not worried about Saka injured for City game but he is more worried about how long it will take for Saka to be back again.


It's a tough decision to make but I feel Arteta has lot of options. Like I said, he has to assess a lot before making the right one that he feels but we really can't afford to lose this match or share a point against City. We need to win in order to be ahead of City.

Gunners are in good shape, contending for EPL League title last season and also having one of the credible performances this season for the purpose to push the team to higher spots. Mikel Arteta have alot of work to handle, he looked more worried about his key player who's under probability of starting against Manchester City. Mikel Arteta would sort out replacements for his winger and probably suits in the best strategy against Pep Guardiola men.

One of them had to terminate the contract so as not to waste too much money, Erik ten Hag had run out of ideas in building the Red Devils squad, because no matter how expensive the players he brought in, it didn't make the club improve and develop, even becoming a monthly player in Europe, of course that made the players disappointed. Saka is one of the crucial player, yes but we don't rely on him too much like we used to few seasons back. I feel that we have got a good density around the squad and I think we still have lot of capable players in the team that can do the job what Saka does. Yeah it's a really a bad news for Gunners but I still won't pick City win for sure here. Arteta knows how important this game is and will try to pick the best team. It's a very important fixture for us against the top contender for the title race.

Yes, I agree with you on what you just said above, because despite the fact that Man-City lost it's game while playing from Away against Newcastle and Wolves, I doubt if they are going to allow such incident repeat itself this coming weekend against Arsenal, despite the fact we having "Rodri" not to play this game because of the red card, but I'm sure with the presence of Erling Haaland, this match is likely to turn out 90% positive or end up as draw, because if you could have a look at previous match performance, you will notice Man-City always being at advantage over Arsenal for more than 6 Premier league matches since 2021.

Passing isn't the most vital ability for a goalkeeper to have, but knowing how to pass properly gives the team an advantage, and goalkeeper’s won't make the same careless passing mistakes that Onana did which cost them a penalty against Galatasaray. When comparing these two goalkeepers, what matters most is their ability to save, the one with the better clean record should be the better of the two. When compared to goalkeepers who are competent at goalkeeping, a goalkeeper who cannot save his side from goals should not be held in high esteem.

Maybe there are other things that are still being considered by the team management so they don't want to fire Erik Ten Hag at this time even though the series of bad results for Manchester United is still happening. I don't expect much from Ten Hag for a short time even though this is his second season as Manchester United coach. Ten Hag should get good support instead of voicing his dismissal, that's what he should get instead of mocking the results of his team's performance on the field.

Hehehehe, I will love to believe the Gunners can do that but nah. You know, Pep has trained his boys to be able to cope even when their keys players go MIA but that's not the case with Arsenal. I've seen on countless occasions where Pep makes Arteta never forget he is the boss whenever they meet and I've also seen the Gunners being nervous when they get paired against the Citizens so a draw will be giving Arsenal too much credit if you ask me, but then again football can be surprising and I'm hoping for a shocker {preferably positive} from Arteta and his boys.

Yeah we all know despite being based at Arsenal's home some don't doubt Man City will lose because we see Pep Guardiola's troops will be better prepared for the following week but with yesterday's defeat to Wolves it might be a mistake from Pep's strategy hopefully this won't happen again.
On the other hand if I try to bet on Arsenal there is still a little doubt than Man City.

Arteta will definitely evaluate after last night's defeat with Lens, then the game becomes tough again even though it's in front of their own fans, I think it won't be lost just like that maybe goals will be exchanged? But I don't think it will be many goals.

No doubt Man City's defeat tonight in the UCL, this remains the favorite.

This is going to be an intense match and I don’t think it’ll be an easy one to decide who will win in this match by weekend. Manchester City been beating by wolves is not an opportunity for Arsenal to prevail against them easily, their loss to wolves could be a booster to them to get back to their winning ways again after a sad weekend outing last week. Arsenal will also be looking forward to keep up or close the point gap between them and Manchester City, so the my will not also relent in this match and will want to get the best out of it too.


Saka’s injury was a blow to Arsenal on their champions league match yesterday with Lens but it happens in football, they just need to have a plan B mapped out that will give them an edge over Manchester City in their weekend fixture against them. Saka has been an over whole dependent player to Arsenal which is not suppose to be so, sometimes he needs to be benched to rest, playing all the matches always leads to fatigue which has now caused him an injury at the expense of the team when they needed him the most in this weekend match. I hope their plan B works out for them.

You don’t need to compare David Raya to Onana base on their performance and wants Ramsdale to keep ahead of him because of last match result. At least David Raya performance this season on goals conceded is better off than that of Onana. Whether Ramsdale or David Raya, they really need to win this match.

No excuses are acceptable. They need to perform better and secure a victory. Erik ten Hag has the club's support, as they see him as the right person for the current and future plans. It's important not to change coaches during tough periods but support them to bounce back. That's how they build a strong, long-term team. However, the team's balance isn't right yet, but I'm sure it will improve. And then, these lad definitely turn into a real threat against any team.

I think the possibility of Ten Hag being fired will come true if he fails again in the next two or three matches. Both of Arsenal and Manchester City are in bad condition, Arsenal will play without Martinelli and Saka while Manchester City will play without Rodri, De Bruyne, Stones and Silva. It's 50:50, so I'm not really convinced if this match is a sure win for Manchester City.

Arteta is on his way to making a big mistake on his team, I don't know why Arsenal would make Saka the very key man that without him on the squad they would start running around like a team without a leader. I don't care how long Saka's injury would last but Arteta need to learn from Pep Guardiola that nobody is too special in the squad but in this Arsenal side is like without a certain player in the starting 11 they can't play. I feel other players have what it takes to beat City that's if they defend well and take advantage of their opportunities in that very encounter. At some point I just feel Arsenal faked the first injury on Saka and last night the real injury caught up with him and if that's the case then the Arteta will pay by losing points till Saka recovers.

After all, that this season is Erik ten Hag second season as head coach of Manchester United, and Erik ten Hag failure has only occurred at this moment. Because after all, at least Erik ten Hag managed to provide good results for Manchester United in his first season or last season. Therefore, with Erik ten Hag success last season, then Manchester United in this season can to play in the Champion League.
