I didn't get to watch the match so I decided to check scores after FT but to my great surprise Chelsea won by 1 nil and I was like how the fuck did they do that, a team that couldn't win Aston villa now winning Brighton... Wow.
So many of us gave it to Brighton due to the poor performance of Chelsea stats this season with their first six games in the EPL. And they need this wins in the EPL to keep high their moral which they are finding difficulty in doing that.

I read compakins on social about the ref poor officiation standard in the game, can someone Walk me in on that? Am just curious why and what happened as I didn't had chance to watch the match.

I also hope so, but I wouldn't put that assurance on Chelsea that they are back to winning. I am still looking at them from last season performance that they will manage to win one match and lost four and so on in a repeated pattern. Maybe that is what is replaying now but I wouldn't conclude yet till I watch their next game in EPL. It was an impressive performance and a victorious one tonight from the blues and they need to continue in this performance if they don't want their fans to run to other clubs because their result in matches is discouraging.

I think Manchester United will have a better season than Chelsea because Manchester United have a more stable team than Chelsea who are obviously lacking experience in their squad and as a result struggling to win games even against the smallest of teams in the league this season. Manchester United have a high probability of improving as we approach mid season.

Changing teams because they aren’t in form at a time isn’t very becoming for a fan. There are roles to every structure and the fans role is one vital aspect to football. They provide the needed support to push there team to greatness. Of course they aren’t on the pitch but, the booing and encouragement does enough to make players do the most for the team.
It could be disappointing when the fans aren’t seeing the performance they long for but, quoting your team for another just because they are having better days doesn’t mean that, the new team isn’t going to be rocked by some bad performances too. Forms drop and it’s normal.

Chelsea's winning against Brighton in the EFL Cup was really unexpected for me considering their recent performance. The goal was even scored by Jackson who has been in terrible shape for a long time. Can this be some motivation for Chelsea to start playing better from now on? I really doubt that honestly.

We need to see them winning some games in the Premier League as well. Otherwise this season is even likely to be worse than the previous one as it seems. Chelsea don't deserve to be in this place now. They have spent a lot of money so they should get efficiency from these players at a high level.

If were anything close to being true, I don't think I have heard any kind of rule in football that allows this.

Everybody is free to choose their favourite club and I don't think there's anything to get worked up about in this regard regardless of whether it's a form of disappointment or whatever it is for the fans I think when changing the club they love then they should know that it's too simplistic to say poor form is the problem and it doesn't mean they support City wholeheartedly because it's a form of disappointment and an outlet.

Chelsea won the game. It's not surprising because it's long overdue for them to get a win. Before this EFL cup game, Chelsea had no goal in September. Now at least they have 1 goal even if it's not in the EPL. Also, Jackson won't feature in their Monday game against Fulham.

Let's see if they can take this win and keep up the consistency. otherwise, it's back to losing ways.

The league has only been running for 6 matches, then there are rumors that Pochettino will be fired, is this not a loss for Chelsea because Pochettino's contract is quite long?

There are 25 minutes left in the game and Chelsea leads 1-0, the first part of the plan is almost completed, although this is a knockout game so Brighton will 100% go all-in in the last minutes of the game.

They were also prepared to spend a lot of money. However, Ten Hag did not add an experienced striker to the squad. He bought young Hojlund. And due to not having enough experience, Hojlund is not getting the performance expected from Manchester United. I think if United had an experienced striker in their squad, their performance would have been stronger. United's attack is very weak.
