Yeah, the fact that they could end up beating City but lose to Ipswich back to back is the proof that they are quite inconsistent and we are going to see them have this kind of issue for a while. If there was a gap of some games then I would understand, but there was just national break, these games are club back to back games and they lost to team that is 19th in the league right now, and easily defeated City instead, which makes absolutely no sense at all. The expectation was the reverse, them beating Ipswhich and then losing to City, which would have been the most common and normal thing ever, but they didn't do that.

So, this inconsistency makes it very hard for them to continue to win and expect to make easy bets on them. They are sixth and all, but not entirely sure what's going to happen with them, anything could happen and we could see them have a good win on the long run. We need to figure out how to make a good return with the betting and I am not going to bet on them for awhile.
I didn't expect City to lose again, it seems like they've fallen into a psychological state that they can't get out of, they make a lot of mistakes and the attack can't do anything, it's also strange because they never had any problems with the attack before, and the attacking players are in the game. Five lost matches in a row is too much for City, we can probably already talk about a crisis in the team, and Liverpool should win and increase the gap, I think this should stimulate them.

What the fuck with Manchester City, this lose is really shameful for them.

The last four match they lose were in opponents' home, but this one is in Etihad and they conceded with 4 goals against no trophy team.

I can't trust Manchester City in this season, it's time for us to bet against Manchester City for now, the upcoming match is against Feyenoord. Although it looks impossible they will win, but Tottenham proved everyone wrong.

The major issue with Manchester City right now is the absence of Rodri in that squad, is that difficult to observe?

Those who know the history between these two sides can attest that, Tottenham Hotspur has won more games against Manchester City since he landed the job.
I share your view, even at that, it shouldn't have been that bad, that humiliation was too much. Man City was so humbled by Tottenham yesterday, to the point that they were the laughingstock of the collective EPL opponents' fans where it was watched. You know that the reigning champions always have more enemies, so if the underdogs are winning, regardless of whether they are their fans or not, the opposition queues behind the underdogs to ridicule the champions, it was very bad.

The absence of Rodri can't be overemphasized and the 4 goals divided into both halves are no more a mistake. Despite Man City trying to tackle better and hold the balls, Tottenham had the better spirit and their goal sense did not spare any chances. I didn't know that could happen at Etihad Stadium. This defeat made Guardiola wary of Liverpool and concluded that Liverpool's victory would dash its hope of winning the league.

Pep would be angry tonight after extending his contract few days back and today he got another defeat that's making it 5 losses in a row. I still can't tell why these guys are in a terrible form since last month if I'm not mistaken. Tottenham Hotspur are not yet done and they need to continue winning games to let other clubs know that they're also part of the title race and they can't be left out. I never thought Tottenham would get up to 4 goals in this encounter because since this season we haven't seen two big clubs playing each other and we have to see a win, they always end in a draw apart from the game Chelsea played against Man City at the beginning of the season. This win will build up enough momentum for the Spurs side and is official that Haaland is not a big game player.
Pep Guardiola will be furious with his players for losing 5 consecutive matches. If this poor form continues, they will risk the chance of qualifying for the Champions League and that will be a bad condition for a team of their caliber. Without KDB, Erling Haaland is not getting the needed touches and is unable to perform at his usual level. On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur will be happy that they were able to eliminate Manchester city in the EFL Cup and also winning them in the EPL. This achievement will not only boost their morale this season.

Angry with how the players performance has been, true but when you talk about missing out in the champions league next season I don't think Man City would walk in that path, they'll never miss that spot of qualifying for the champions league. The Citizens are in a bad shape now but I believe with time they'll bounce back since we're about to enter the second half of the season. Pep need to calm down and start afresh and no matter how hard he tries I don't think the losses will go away, is just to move on and start a new chapter if not I don't feel the players will do well if he keeps beating himself over the 5 games he lost.
I don't know how many still feel this guy Haaland is a complete striker and to even call him a big game player. Haaland can't do anything without the guys who supplies him the ball to score, he can't mark or do anything as a contribution to the team, he always wait to be fed before you see him functioning, is not how a complete player should be. The only way Haaland can improve is by adding up a little bit of Harry Kane's style, by going off the box into the midfield, play with his teammates and sprint back to where he wants the ball, that would help him but for now he's of no help to City. To me at this moment everybody needs to help make the team stronger again, nobody needs to wait or feel relax to be given the ball to score.

Today in the English Premier League, league leaders Liverpool will travel to Southampton to face the bottom club in the league table and for Liverpool, they'll extend their points difference above second placed Manchester City to 8 points should they win the game. It's 13 years since Southampton last beat Liverpool but do you think they'll be a to pull a surprise today at the St Mary's stadium?
The other match between Ipswich Town vs Manchester United, what do you also make of that game? Let me get your predictions on the two games.
I'm pretty sure Liverpool will get full points in the match against Southampton. Because I think there is quite a big difference in strength between Liverpool and Southampton. But that doesn't mean a surprise won't happen in this match. Because it is not unusual for us to see our favorite team lose to a team that is considered weak. But in this match I don't think there will be a surprising result. And favoring Liverpool clearly carries very low risks.

As for the Ipswich match against Man United, I think I still have to think more about this one. because even though at first glance Man United is the favorite, because this will be Amorim's first debut with Man United, I feel I have to be more careful in making my choice. Because surprising results can happen. But because Ipswich is one of the teams that has had the most bad results this season and is also the second bottom team in the current standings, choosing Man United as favorites is also a good choice.

I still can't beat my chest that Tottenham will continue winning games after defeating City because they are some how like Chelsea, lack of consistency has been their problem. The both teams (Chelsea and Tottenham) can't continue winning for long, after a big win you see them playing poorly and I'm not sure if Spurs can go straight 4 games without losing but no one is certain. Tottenham have what it takes to make the other clubs take them serious because when I look at their front line I see hope and they have become more aggressive and direct since Solanke joined them and they should keep up with that form.

I still can't beat my chest that Tottenham will continue winning games after defeating City because they are some how like Chelsea, lack of consistency has been their problem.

That's football for us, Manchester City that won the heart of English sports has now become a team of mockery, the last five of there matches they have lost all, you know when Tottenham Hotspur play against them on the EFL Cup round 4 they won Manchester City 2:1 and some persons was saying that is a match Manchester city attention is not on and look at what Tottenham Hotspur still did to them on the league they cherish so much, funny enough this time was even more disgraceful than the last time because the 4:0 was actually too much to conceive by a club as wonderful as Manchester City, so at this point they surely need a help.

The media was buzzing yesterday concerning Manchester City's defeat by Tottenham, What a surprising and embarrassing defeat for Manchester City and I believe Guardiola would really react bad to the result of the match, Manchester City have lost 5 times consecutively something that's not happened for more than 10 years plus  and the 1st time in Guardiola's coaching career. I've noticed that ever since Rodri got injured, it's been very tough for Manchester City and his disappearance in the team have caused them a lot, I believe it would push Pep Guardiola to find a suitable player as Rodri's backup cause at this point it's becoming very important, I would've said Manchester City underestimated Tottenham but no, cause Tottenham is not a weak EPL team, they're in good form moreover City missed lots of good chances. 5 consecutive lose means the teams form is declining and Pep needs to work on it else it might hinder them from defending the EPL title.

Chelsea managed to win in this match and they played much better, this is good match and makes us happy, I also took Arsenal as favorites and under 4.75 in the Manchester City vs Tottenham match because Manchester City performance has not been so good lately.
I got win in the multi bet but there is little bit of annoyance with Manchester City defeat to Tottenham with 4 goal without reply, Manchester City is really in trouble now and Pep must solve it soon or else Manchester City can be worse.
A big shock of results does happen in football, this is one of them. Pep Guardiola's reign in the Premier League is coming to an end, as Manchester City has lost five straight games in a row, making it the first time such a thing has happened in his career, and the 52 unbeaten games Manchester City has had in Etihad comes to an end. I don't know how Pep tends to do away with the poor performance of Manchester City, as it seems it is not getting over soon.
the worst part of the loss is that the next premier league game they are playing is against Liverpool and that in itself spells doom if care is not taking. this is purely real-life situation that is happening to pep and at this pointy it's clear that he is gradually losing grip of a possibility of still winning the league for the season. 4:0 is a very devastating result and at this point you can't really tell if this is a Rodri effect or that this is just a way that ushers in another team into laying his hands on the trophy. if Liverpool wins against Southampton which has a high chance of happening, its going to place Liverpool on 31 points giving them an 8-point advantage which is equivalent to at least a 3-match stretch win for man city and a three loss for Liverpool within that range in this season. that's enough analysis that after doing can just make you forget anything about getting the trophy for the season.

I like to treat everyone as a friend 🔹
Manchester United will face Ipswich today, this match will be held at Ipswich's home ground. However, Manchester United has a good chance of winning the match, and the betting odds are in their favor. Since we have seen that, Man United has changed their game a lot compared to before. Moreover, I think that if Manchester United wins this match, they will be able to move to a good position in the point table. Manchester United has become much stronger compared to Ipswich at the moment, so a strong performance by Manchester United will ensure their victory. Moreover, although the betting odds in the match are @1.62, although they are very low, there will be hope for Man United to win if you bet on them.

Manchester United are showing signs of recovery after parting ways with Erik ten Hag. Manchester United have three wins and a draw in their last four games. There has been a remarkable improvement, especially in defense. Now they will make their debut with Amorim. It's really hard to predict what kind of lineup Amorim will prepare for this match. I am not sure which formation he will use. In the long run I think we will see a 3’s defense, but I don't know if he will do that in the beginning.

Ipswich Town, on the other hand, got their first win of the season against Tottenham and they will go into this game full of confidence. I think Ipswich Town will give Manchester United a hard time but the Manchester United players performance will want to show their new manager. I think it will be a difficult match and it is very difficult to predict.
Ipswich Town will play at home, of course they have a greater motivation to win the match against Manchester United even though if we look at the quality of Ipswich Town is not much better than Manchester United.

Manchester United has now entered a new era, after Ten Hag's departure it seems that this team is much better but in the next match Manchester United is the first match with its new coach so anything is still possible, this is a match that is quite difficult to predict in my opinion, even though Manchester United is the favorite but there is still a big possibility for a surprise to occur.

I don't know how Pep tends to do away with the poor performance of Manchester City, as it seems it is not getting over soon.

Nevertheless, it's not over yet for Manchester City. Let's see how Pep Guardiola will turn things around this time, as Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea pose a big threat to him in denying Manchester City the Premier League title for this season. What I just need in today's match is for Liverpool to win against Southampton to lead Manchester City with 8 points. Let me see by the time Manchester City have recovered back in their performance to meet up with Liverpool, won't it reach the end of the 2024/2025 Premier League season
If Liverpool can win today's match against Southampton, Liverpool will further make the difference in points between Liverpool and Man City even further away. A difference of 8 points will really make it difficult for Man City to even catch up. And even though the following week Man City recovered and won again, but if Liverpool also continued to win the match then it would be useless. all Man City has to do now is focus on not losing any more points and they will definitely hope Liverpool lose points. But with Liverpool's very consistent level of performance this season, I doubt Liverpool will drop points anytime soon.

The surprise this season for me is not only about Man City's consecutive defeats. But what surprised me more was being able to see Chelsea again in the top 3 rankings. I think Chelsea have really risen even though it took a few seasons to get to this stage. But I think Todd Boehly is a really good businessman and it seems like he really understands what he is doing so far by bringing more young players into the Chelsea squad. He seemed to be thinking about progress in the long term. I'm starting to like it.

I think with this blow, Manchester City's chances of winning the title have gone down a lot. Losing 5 official games in a row is something that hasn't happened for years. The losses in the Champions League are not a problem since the format has changed and they were eliminated from the League Cup without reaching the quarter-finals, not a big deal, but these losses in the Premier League will hurt them a lot. Right now Liverpool have a serious advantage. The other teams are very close with City. In fact, if Liverpool have a similar fall, the excitement will come back, it's too early for now, but in terms of general morale, it's certain that the City fans are very low. In 3 days they need to win the Feyenoord game and get a reset, for the team and fans, then the Liverpool game will perhaps decide the fate of the league.
Yes, I totally agree with you. Manchester City’s form recently has been a bit alarming. Losing 5 matches in a row is very unusual for Manchester City. I don't think their dip in form is because of the absence of Rodri. Guardiola must act fast, as any more losses in the premier league will increase Liverpool’s chance of winning the title. Manchester City needs to win their match against Feyenoord to end their losing streak. Liverpool is currently enjoying a fine run of form, sitting comfortably at the top of the table.

I don't really think it's because of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea instead Arsenal’s inconsistency and inability to perform in crucial games is the reason why they are not winning the league.

Even if Salah is injured, Liverpool seem to have the right mentality and cohesion to win the EPL this season without Mo Salah. And as for Manchester City, they have lost 5 games in a row. They are not looking as dominant as they used to be. Liverpool have the advantage to win this season EPL.

Lol It's only 11 games and you're acting as if Liverpool has already won the league. They're playing good right now and might potentially go 8 points clear of Manchester City if they beat Southampton tomorrow, but stating they can play better without Salah isn't entirely true. We have witnessed how the team suffered last season while he was out injured. He is best player and has helped them win critical matches this season; if he is out, who handle that position?
Manchester City lost 4 nil to Tottenham Hotspur yesterday. This poor performance from City gives Liverpool a opportunity to increase the gap. Liverpool are in a strong position to contend for the Premier League title this season. While Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly their best player, team spirit; morale; and overall cohesion are far more important than individual brilliance. Liverpool have demonstrated this qualities consistently that is why I think they can perform at a high level without Salah.

It looks like Man City are really facing a serious problem. 5 consecutive defeats are unearthly things for them, and if Guardiola can't find out the cause and anticipate it, then their bad phase will keep going, and they will likely miss this season. For some reason, they can no longer make clinical finishing, and too many chances are wasted. That is further exacerbated with the vulnerability of their backline.

5 consecutive losses in a row, does that not tells us that something is missing?, Which IMO, it's Rodri. Now, if some of us here followed up well with the man city game, we will surely noticed that their flop didn't start since they had their first loss, but it started since they played arsenal. Rodri got injured in that game and arsenal had a red card. City literally struggle to score a 10 man arsenal until the very last minute of the game. Take a look at other games that came after that, it was a slight win margin of 1nil, until they met with Bournemouth, that was when their energy decreased and the whole thing was exposed.

I watched the game yesterday, and the truth is, pep didn't play a different game that he has been playing even while Rodri was present, which was a massive mistake. Playing gundogan and lewis as DM was a bad decision because Kovacic wasn't even present. Walker and Gvardiol we're literally pressing high while no DM was present, and IMO, that lead to the four goals that was conceded.

The sad truth is, I believe pep will play a similar game next week when they face Liverpool because that has always been his style.

The humiliating defeat for Man City in yesterday's match made Guardiola achievements disappear instantly. And I'm sure there are many fans and bettors who are angry after being disappointed to support City. Now let's forget about the disappointment and start predicting the results of this match,

Southampton vs Liverpool
Ipswich vs Man United

Southampton and Ipswich are weak teams at the moment, but do you think Liverpool and MU will easily get 3 points with a big score in this match?

Tottenham is one of those teams in the EPL that can surprise anyone, because before this win Tottenham lost to Ipswich, who won the EPL for the first time in 22 years. So Tottenham can make it a roller coaster ride for their fans.
Arsenal supporters would have been happier about this Tottenham's win if it was last season when they needed them to help. Tottenham surprised everyone in the Etihad stadium, a place where Manchester City loss is always very unexpected. Liverpool may likely lose too if they do not take the Southampton game seriously. Small teams can be difficult for big teams to win sometime when they are not taken seriously. If Liverpool win this game, they increase more the chances they have to win the league this season.

Manchester City have been humbled tonight by Tottenham as they were trashed 0-4 in their home. Everyone was thinking that Manchester City will win the match that was why they were given just 1.39 odds, unfortunately, that didn't happen and we have seen how weak City can be. I think this is the lowest point of the team and urgent measures need to be taken to save the club. With Guardiola extending his contract, I think it is time for him to work on the midfield as well as the defense because those are the places where there are major lapses. Erling Haaland was just so unlucky in the match as he made many attempts but was unable to score.

It looks like Man City are really facing a serious problem. 5 consecutive defeats are unearthly things for them, and if Guardiola can't find out the cause and anticipate it, then their bad phase will keep going, and they will likely miss this season.
