Tottenham Hotspur have surprisingly scored two goals inside the first 29 minutes of their English Premier League away game at the Etihad. Ange Postecoglou's men have been in control of the game since the first minute and are now two goals ahead. Do you think Manchester City stands a chance of getting back into the game or maybe get a result at the end of the game? Or do you think Tottenham Hotspur will surely win and hand Pep Guardiola his fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions?
Let me read your thoughts
I'm actually shocked about how the match is currently going, I thought the best Tottenham couple do today would likely be a draw but surprisingly they are in a 2 goals lead before the 30 minutes of the first half.
I guessed nothing has really changed for Manchester City even after the International break things seems to be getting worst, they seriously need to find a wayvto handle Rodri absence tbh. Although I think they may still have a chance if they don't concede any more especially before tge second half.
Your stick is a learner compared to mine, it's 3 nil now and City isn't looking as though they can come back in this game. Tottenham is really hell bent in burying city alive today in terms of performance. Many gamblers would lose their stakes today because Tottenham is doing the unexpected and unimagined. If they can hold this tempo of the match. The win is surely theirs.
Manchester City has definitely lost the match now, we are just waiting for the final whistle, Pep needs to sit his men well again, their defense is in shambles. He needs to find a way to get back on track, I know they're often having bad performance around this time of the year but this is the worst.
Tottenham is a team that can possibly let a two goals down slide if the opposing team are really pressing and determinant for an equaliser but City today is far from that.
Chelsea match today was beautiful and the combination of Caicedo and Enzo produced the level of defensive play and creativity I expected from the team. This should be another reminder to the coach that winning games isn't much about strength. Lavia isn't yet creative enough to bench Enzo like he always does. Beyond defensive midfielder role, Enzo is a very creative player that can produce chances and supports to win matches.
Enzo Fernandes showed why he doesn't needs to be sitting on the bench rather coming as a starter to Enzo Maresca today and also taking the MOTM award.
He provided the creativity we were lacking in most games and if nor that chances were missed, we would have gotten more goals and also, I think it's high time Noni Madueke sat on the benched to be honest, that guy is wasting chances and often too greedy with the ball especially inside the opponent box.
