The loss of Man City to Tottenham Hotspur is just too much and even very painful because it's not even been up to a week that Pep renewed his contract and for the fact that it was to a side that got beat up by Ipswich before the international break.
No one saw this defeat coming to City being that they have not been impressive lately and as such were expected to deal with Tottenham Hotspur, even Ange Postecoglu believed his side would get a thrashing and had prepared for it but I guess the tables turned real well for them and I'm sure Man City and pep Guardiola especially will not forget this event; being that it's the first time a premier league side is serving him a four course dish...

I made a YOLO bet on Tottenham because base on their recent match up Man City lose their game against them so this time I made a yolo bet again so to check if Man City will still perform well and result came up they lose against Tottenham. Currently I'm watching with the Liverpool vs Ipswich and its seems this game is already decided and if Liverpool makes a good run this series this year they will become our EPL Champ.

Moreover, before Guardiola took charge of Manchester City, Manchester City was a mediocre team. Guardiola has turned this team into one of the best squads in the world. The Manchester City management will not take the decision to sack such a coach.

More importantly, where will Manchester City get an experienced coach than Guardiola now? The Manchester City management will never take the risk of hiring someone less experienced as a coach.

Well. I will not be so surprised if the Manchester City top management decides to sack Guardiola but I am pretty sure they ain't considering that just now. Everyone has a way to analyze this but regardless, it is good to set the tone that the team is bigger than the manager and are the employers of the manager. They are at the liberty to decide whether or not they want the manager to stay.

But for the better interest of the team's stability, they may want to keep the guy for this season long to see how things pan out with him. I think Guardiola is still the same tactician like in the last season, what have changed is his inability to quickly readjust his tactics to the current realities facing the team. I think the club needs a fresh breath of young talented players to complement the efforts of the top players in the team now.

If this whole event was a dream I don't think I'd like to wake up from it too quick. Reigning champs lost 5 straight games and last night game was the biggest and I agree with you, nobody expected it to happen the way it did. I believe the Tottenham coach would be like (before the kick off) "let's go and play, whatever happens we take it in good faith" but it never happened that way. I was thinking that the renewal of Pep's contract will inspire the players to hit Tottenham very hard by getting a win and using the winning to say thank you to Pep for staying but it never happened.
I think what's happening to the Citizens is something that needs to happen, they have been dominating the EPL for a very long time and no one has the balls to stand toe to toe with them, it has always been them. Tottenham has done something big for the other EPL clubs, creating an opening and letting the other clubs to know that they should be fearless when playing Man City. Pep might even lose the UCL game coming up on Tuesday .
Exactly my point. No one would have guessed that Tottenham Hotspur would defeat City at the Etihad and do it without fear. I watched the game and this is the best ive seen Tottenham because they are a team that easily caves and start making mistakes when they are slightly pressured but yesterday, they were so confident and bold that even the commentator described Madison's second goal as "cheeky". And truthfully, that was what it was; very cheeky and unapologetic. Making a mess out of Ederson's composure.
I just hope it won't be the end for Tottenham Hotspur, rather they should continue like this so that other clubs in the EPL will take them seriously since they are amongst the big six clubs in the premier league.

The major issue with Manchester City right now is the absence of Rodri in that squad, is that difficult to observe?

Those who know the history between these two sides can attest that, Tottenham Hotspur has won more games against Manchester City since he landed the job.
I can trust them against the dutch side during the upcoming champions league fixture but not against Liverpool at home come 1st December.
Because of Rodri's absence City have lost five games in a row? I'm very skeptical that City can be so dependent on one player. De Bruyne only came on towards the end of the match, I don't know what to say, I didn't expect such a score, and City attacked a lot and couldn't score a single goal, this is a clear attack crisis for City, and of course the defense failed yesterday. These are difficult times for Guardiola, and he just recently extended his contract with City until 2027. I haven't seen such a losing streak in City for a long time.
There is only one big question: what's wrong with Pep Guardiola? I mean this is a continuous defeat and we will be at Anfield stadium, of course, feeling very fortunate if Man City performance is like this. Arne Slot needs a worthy rival. If Tottenham can go 0-4, then what about Liverpool? LoL

Pep Guardiola decision to extend his contract will backfire because Man City top brass has given him full trust. I hope Man City doesn't give up quickly from the title hunt this season, because apart from Liverpool, there is still Chelsea who is likely to shift the runner-up position.

Without Rodri? Come on, please bring him to Anfield next week and let him feel how scary Liverpool are. Grin

A 5 game losing streak indicates that Pep Guardiola strategy has been broken and is no longer effective. It is proven now that to beat Manchester City, you can look at Spurs strategy. Like it or not the 6th match against Liverpool at Anfield could be the next defeat. A defeat that become history for Pep Guardiola during his time as a coach. The mentality of Manchester City players has declined greatly and it is clearly visible.
This is actually pep Guardiola worst season as a Manchester City couch losing 5 game in row has never occur in his history as a couch. I can't really tell what is really wrong with Manchester City as they hardly score a goal and when they loss they loss with 4 goals margin last time sporting Lisbon trash Manchester City 4-0 and yesterday also at the English premier league they were humiliated 4-0 by Tothenham at the Etihad stadium.
Manchester City poor performance this season will make Liverpool to win the league tittle without having much challenge unless Arsenal, Chelsea will continue with their nice performance as they both won their game yesterday respectively or Manchester City will come back to winning ways from the next game which will difficult for them to win since they will be playing Liverpool next at the Anfield which is Liverpool home ground.

Like that, that Pep Guardiola's strategy is no longer effective or is it easily read by the opponent? This is a very embarrassing defeat, I didn't even expect to lose 0-4 to Tottenham, maybe next week will be another defeat for Manchester City and they will find it difficult to win points again.

Still hope that the ugliness will not be a long dissolve at least we want to compete again in the Premier League, maybe some people want the trophy this season to be taken over by another team not Manchester City anymore, that possibility can happen.

Manchester City have been humbled tonight by Tottenham as they were trashed 0-4 in their home. Everyone was thinking that Manchester City will win the match that was why they were given just 1.39 odds, unfortunately, that didn't happen and we have seen how weak City can be. I think this is the lowest point of the team and urgent measures need to be taken to save the club. With Guardiola extending his contract, I think it is time for him to work on the midfield as well as the defense because those are the places where there are major lapses. Erling Haaland was just so unlucky in the match as he made many attempts but was unable to score.
It was a really bad result because everyone thought City could win that game. But surprisingly they were beaten 4-0 and it looks like this is the worst losing streak City have had in a decade. I think Rodri's absence really has a significant impact on the club's performance. Rodri is a holding midfielder that Pep Guardiola really needs to perfect his tactics. It's the same when Pep chose Bosquet as a holding midfielder at Barcelona because Pep needed a midfielder who could get out of the pressure. But I think overall this can also be due to the overall decline in City's performance. This bad result makes their chances of winning the title again even smaller. They are 5 points behind Liverpool and that could be 8 points if Liverpool can win their game against Southampton tonight.

5 lost matches and 3 defeats are in Premier League, it's very bad for their race with other competitors in Premier League. Manchester City now are still at the second position but there are three clubs behind them with only one point less. In comparison with Liverpool, the point difference now is 5 points but it can become 8 points if Liverpool win their match this weekend.

In addition, next week, Manchester City and Liverpool will have a direct match, and if Manchester City lose it, the point difference can be expanded to 11 points. As Pep Guardiola said, if Manchester City lose that direct match, they nearly lose Premier League trophy to Liverpool in this season.

Moreover, before Guardiola took charge of Manchester City, Manchester City was a mediocre team. Guardiola has turned this team into one of the best squads in the world. The Manchester City management will not take the decision to sack such a coach.
Every successful era in football has to end because it relates to players, not only the head coach. Players get older with time and they will come to their career endings, and it's really hard to replace star players who together make up a successful squad. Many head coaches fail with this mission and I am sure Pep Guardiola will have to deal with it and likely fail with it too.

I think, the time to change Manchester city head coach is now, because things are going wrong in the team which Manchester city president need to find emergency solutions to it before it will make Manchester city not to end up in 1st position in the premier league competition. Tottenham draw matches with some teams and won some matches to defeated some team which those teams are not stronger than Manchester city, but for Tottenham to play Manchester city in their home and defeated them with 0-4  without allowed them to score a single goal, showed there is an error that need to be corrected. Manchester city head coach need to do what can save the team from this poor performance before it will be too late for him, because it will be a shameful thing to Manchester city that they have dropped down to six or five position in this season.
It's too early to taking about changing manager because there is still time for Manchester City to bounce back moreover Guardiola has just extended his contract so this proven Manchester City owner still fully trusted to Guardiola and about the match against Tottenham if we see based on meeting records for both teams Tottenham is became an one of the team who difficult to beated in Guardiola era this because everytime they met Manchester City have to hard struggling to gets the winning results from Tottenham but indeed for race title Guardiola has been said it is hard for Manchester City to defend their title but Guardiola still hasn't give up yet and he believe Manchester City will be able to performing well soon

Guardiola probably extended his contract with Manchester City for another two years two days ago. The offer to extend the contract was made by the Manchester City management. The Manchester City management has made such a decision even after Manchester City has lost four consecutive matches. It can be assumed from this that the Manchester City management is not thinking of sacking Guardiola now.

Moreover, before Guardiola took charge of Manchester City, Manchester City was a mediocre team. Guardiola has turned this team into one of the best squads in the world. The Manchester City management will not take the decision to sack such a coach.

I didn't expect Manchester City, which in its last match lost to Brighton, but now it can be defeated again in today's match against Tottenham. This is really surprising for me because I thought Manchester City could win against Tottenham but in fact Manchester City lost with a score of 0-4. In my opinion, this will definitely embarrass Manchester City fans because of course, as the host, Manchester City failed to win the match.

In my opinion, now Pep needs to train his men so that Manchester City's players are even better because of course if it is left like this, it will definitely make it difficult for Manchester City to become champions because of course the point difference will be even greater with its rival teams.

but yes, of course it cannot be denied that Tottenham did play well in today's match because they were able to take advantage of opportunities well and of course their attack was so good that Manchester City's defenders were fooled and of course now Tottenham must be proud because they were able to beat the team that has always been champions. in EPL. It seems that in my opinion Manchester City's defense, attack line and midfield must really be improved by Pep because it is definitely not too late for Manchester City to win the title again, although of course it is not an easy thing because they are very far behind in points at the moment. What do you all think, is there any hope for Manchester City to become champions in the EPL this season?

That's why in football, a coach should not depend on only one person. A coach type like Pep must make an effort to "create" another person with the same level and skill as Rodri. He was too late to implement it and didn't do anything on Windows summer transfer ago. He feels the current squad that he has is enough strong to compete on the next session, Where in fact he forgets if a player has a vulnerable and unstable period.

We can't expect too much from a coach. This is an accident that no one could have predicted during the season. Pep cannot prepare a great player in advance and wait until Rodri gets injured and replaces him. This can be considered a disaster for Man City when many key players are injured at the same time. Even with the likes of Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes, they still cannot fully take on Rodri's role.

Quote
When I ask AI, A type of player who has the same skill as Rodri are; Martin Zubimendi, Oshua Kimmich, Ederson, Morten Hjulmand, Frenkie De Jong, and Samuele Ricci.

Among these players, I see Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi as the most promising candidate to replace Rodri. He has a similar playing style to his senior in the Spanish national team. convincing Zubimendi to leave Real Sociedad mid-season could be a big challenge, but it is entirely possible with the attraction of the Etihad Stadium team. But who will guarantee Martin Zubimendi will have a starting spot when Rodri returns?

Quote
if my choice, This type is suitable for Kante also, but because of its age, Pep may not consider him as don't have speed and power like Rodri have.

Kante may not be his peak self, but at 33 he still possesses outstanding quality. He is in Saudi Arabia now, I don't think he would be ready to come back to the Premier League to be Rodri's backup.

Just like one movie name "the city is down" is what Manchester city is going through now. It's going to be a long season for Pep but fortunately, he's ready for this challenge as he confirmed in one of his interview the other day that he's even ready for relagation and come back afresh if necessary.

However, as a football fan we have to realize that it's not possible for Manchester city to continue winning the league year in and year out. They are currently second on the table and have won this league tittle four times in a row. I think it is still fair even if they failed to win it this time around or making it to top four.

There are always ups and downs and City is having a test of downs right now. Hopefully, they bounce back as quickly as possible. That being said, Pep needs to improve on his tactics because even Ten Hang at his worse did not lost five straight games in a row. He should allow Savinho to play his rightful position and play Grealish on the other wing, he doesn't have to gamble in every game.

What the fuck with Manchester City, this lose is really shameful for them.

The last four match they lose were in opponents' home, but this one is in Etihad and they conceded with 4 goals against no trophy team.

I can't trust Manchester City in this season, it's time for us to bet against Manchester City for now, the upcoming match is against Feyenoord. Although it looks impossible they will win, but Tottenham proved everyone wrong.

Chelsea managed to win in this match and they played much better, this is good match and makes us happy, I also took Arsenal as favorites and under 4.75 in the Manchester City vs Tottenham match because Manchester City performance has not been so good lately.
I got win in the multi bet but there is little bit of annoyance with Manchester City defeat to Tottenham with 4 goal without reply, Manchester City is really in trouble now and Pep must solve it soon or else Manchester City can be worse.

There is no denying that Chelsea are performing well this season. And if Manchester City continue their poor performance, then in a few days we will see Chelsea team in second place in the points table. Chelsea played very well in the last match too, and won against Leicester City by 2-1. Chelsea's overall performance is stable.

Manchester City's performance against Tottenham was boring. Although City's attack performance was irregular, I thought City's defense was very strong. Manchester City conceded four goals in this match, City could not score a single goal. Although City players were able to take a total of 23 shots, they could not score a single goal.
