This is a bad take, and i disagree. The officiating in the English Premier League has been awful this season; including VAR Decisions (Which is supposed to be better). Fans, Sports channel and skysport championing this bad officiating will only lead to more of such. The beauty of the EPL meanwhile is that poor VAR decisions will touch every team in the league; no one is escaping that.
Quite rightly there have been too many mistakes from refs thus far this season, in general officiating hasn't been at its best and VAR have also missed obvious errors that they should have corrected, like for example City's second goal against Fulham should have been chalked off; but i disagree that Manchester United lost to Arsenal due to poor officiating, the decisions the ref and VAR took in that game were correct imo and Arsenal won because they were the better team.

After watching yesterday’s game, I think teams should be wary of Arsenal in stoppage and additional time because  Arsenal are utilizing the additional minutes to yield productive results. Against Manchester United and Manchester City, Arsenal have gotten late comeback goals and win games this season. Arsenal really showed the red devils who’s boss at the Emirates, the fans will ride on this victory for the rest of the month.
Manchester United were caught off guard in the final minutes. Even though Manchester United had played quite well and could keep up with Arsenal's game in normal time (90 minutes). But yeah, in the extra minutes, Manchester United were caught off guard. And Arsenal made good use of it. But in essence Arsenal are much better like last season. Last season, Manchester United was also not very good at the start of the season. And this season they did it again. In the past, many people even blamed Cristiano Ronaldo when Manchester United's performance was very bad at the start of the season. Many think that Cristiano Ronaldo is burdening Manchester United's performance. But this season everyone must realize that the poor performance that Manchester United had at the start of the season I think was due to the bad strategy implemented by Erik Ten Heg and also the not very good performance of the Manchester United players themselves. My appreciation for a very good young coach (Arteta).

If in the Manchester United vs Arsenal match there are still those who blame the referee's decision, it is a sign that the Manchester United fans are trying to dismiss and do not want to accept the fact that they lost to Arsenal. Even though many of Anthony Taylor's decisions are often controversial, in that fight, in my opinion, he showed fairness and professionalism.
I was surprised by some of the decisions that the referee made yesterday, which I also blamed the referee’s decision, but there is nothing that can be done about it. Ten hag also made some mistakes. Manchester United should just accept the defeat and move forward. I will say that Ten Hag should just focus on his lapses and try to fix them so that similar errors won’t repeat themselves in the future. It’s annoying for a team like Manchester United to concede two goals within the extra time give, they should have managed to maintain the draw in which they were playing, at least they will have gone away with one point.

After this defeat, we don't know what steps will be taken by Manchester United, bearing in mind that the UCL competition awaits this month which will make us even more doubtful, because with conditions like a match against a club like Galatasaray, it's definitely not guaranteed. To be realistic, I think it will be difficult for Manchester United to qualify for the group stage. Even Copenhagen and Galatasaray can be far superior to Manchester United. Bayern Munich doesn't need to be counted Smiley
Upcoming match, Manchester United will face difficult opponent from Brighton Albion in Premier League and few days later against Bayern Munich on UEFA Champion League opening match. But have advantage with FIFA international matchday have time two week later for Erik ten Hag prepare their squad back to the top level. In Premier League, Manchester United still not have impressive performance losing from Arsenal and become second loss after defeating by Tottenham  Hotspur on matchday 2.

Still need time for Erik ten Hag make his team back to the top level, its not easy although have many new signing but some player need time for adapting.

Indeed, many Man United fans do not accept the referee's decision, they should blame ETH's decision, in the bigmatch match using the wrong formation and making ridiculous substitutions. Even if the referee wanted to be fair then the score would also be different because in this match Arsenal also suffered a lot from the referee's decisions, the score should have been 4-1 for Arsenal.
Fans always defend their favorite team in any way. But sometimes they do something annoying, they blame the referee for the lose. Sure, the coach should take responsibility of the lose, fans must blame Ten Hag. I also think that Man United got the defeat because of the wrong tactic used by Ten Hag, especially after normal time. So, there is nothing to do with the referee.  Grin

I look at it from a neutral position, Arsenal deserved to win. The game was dominated, when they controlled the ball they were really scary in contrast to Man United who seemed to rely more on counter attacks. Arsenal's creativity also looks more prominent, Oddegard and Martineli are very dangerous.
Indeed. Arsenal dominated the match. Arsenal won the ball possession, they made more shots, and they played more effective during the match. Actually, Arsenal deserved to get full points in this match. Arsenal players simply played better than Man United players.

I don't think it's worth complaining after the game is over, it won't change anything. Erik Ten Hag is aware of that and doesn't seem like he wants to make a big deal about it but I think he just needs to focus on improving a team that is very unstable right now.

The players seem to be playing for themselves and seem selfish. That's what I've seen on a number of occasions, especially when there's a good chance to cross but they didn't do it. Rashford repeated it several times, that is what must be avoided in the next match and Ten Hag must change his players to help the team, not for himself.

[....]I also don't know for sure whether the VAR decision for the goal scored by Garnacho was correct or not because after that incident it was Arsenal who managed to turn things around.
What are you trying to say here? Arsenal's last two goals has nothing to do with the disallowed MU goal. If you have a problem with the call then point it out on a technical level and not come of as someone saying MU was robbed of that goal so Arsenal could win. Garnacho was offside by the slightest of margins.

Well for me the referee really influenced the game although it's not a new thing but it's usually favours the opposite team. But that being said Manchester United really played well if not because if the last minute pressure and error that came from their back, I think they would have secured a draw or even won the game but thats football no really is finished untill the final whistle is blown and this theory was practice in the game between this two rivals.

Being a Manchester United fan is heartbreaking, with no peace of mind and many disappointments.
The fans are tired of these losses. This club is filled with drama!
Of course, it's always sad when the lovely team gets into a difficult situation. Man United fans are experiencing the same situation as Chelsea fans.
However, if you are a real fan, you mustn't tired and leave your lovely team. You must still support Man United, you must believe Man United management will try to find out the solution. They may evaluate the tactics used by the coach, or may evaluate skills & mentality of the players.

And I hope the next game will see a change. Let's see what Amrabat and Hojlund bring to the team.
Amrabat and Hojlund are good players, but they need to adapt with the tactics of Man United. I don't know if they will adapt quickly, but you shouldn't expect too much on them. It is not easy to give their best when they are still adapting with everything.

I agree, for even if you re-watch the match it is clear that Arsenal were superior to Manchester United at many points, so the fans' outrage is nothing more than frustration at the defeat. After all, even assuming that their goal would have counted, it wouldn't change anything, for the score is 3-1

I don't agree that Erik ten Hag is not worried about the performance of Manchester United. The coach will be the person to take responsibility for the results of the club and he will be the first to be sanctioned if the club keeps losing games. So many things are affecting the United team which include the ownership war between the and interested buyers. If the new owner is concerned about football, he would bring positive changes to the club. But to be sincere, United's performance in that game was not that bad.

They gave Arsenal a big fight and the Gunners were smart to take the few advantages they got to get a goal. I was thrilled by Jesus's third goal in the game, he was confident to know when to hold and strike. It won't take time they will start blaming Onana and I wonder what will goalkeeper when he is at the mercy of the defender. I don't know if they wanted him to do a miracle while the defense is not doing a good job.

For Arsenal to beat Manchester United by 2 goals, that means they might beat Manchester City also if they meet next and with this performance they can go forward in the league.

Arsenal was the better side in the game against Manchester United and the scoreline says it all.
Arsenal may very have a fighting chance when playing against Manchester City but not cause they won Manchester United by 2 goals. Needless to say, Manchester City is not on the same level with Man United and Arsenal comfortably winning Man United shouldn’t be used as a benchmark.
No doubt, Arsenal is in great form and strong enough to perhaps threaten Man City’s chances of winning the title again.

Yes, even with all this performance Arsenal had yesterday, the Manchester United fans can still agree that they lost the match because of their over-hyping. Although Manchester United weren't playing the ball with seriousness, if you check very well, Arsenal just didn't want to lose or draw the game as Manchester United did. That's why Arsenal played with full force and all the rest.

For Arsenal to beat Manchester United by 2 goals, that means they might beat Manchester City also if they meet next and with this performance they can go forward in the league.

I have a feeling that Wolves might fight to avoid relegation spots this season. I say this because even if the team is producing a good football is simply not enough to win games as Wolves have no real defenders right now Sad.

Liverpool is a surprise for me as I didn't expect them to perform this good but Nunez is doing awesome job so far that puts Liverpool on a great start of the season.  Cool

I think there is something wrong with Wolves because they started the season well when they played against Manchester United and fought it out until 90 minutes despite conceding a goal late in the second half that was enough to help United win. There is still much time to pull themselves together especially with the international break to re-strategize and get back to their feet again. Liverpool recorded yet another crucial win against Aston Villa on Sunday to move up to 3rd position in the table over Westham and Arsenal.

Wolves are not moving in the right route with how they have played they look likely to be relegated along with Luton Town and Everton this season. Selling some important players in the team without getting someone in the position as the replacement is not a good idea.
Neves left in the beginning of the season for Saudi Arabia. Another left for City and during deadline transfer they didn't do something about it. They look set for damnation with the moves.
Liverpool should grab all the points now with Europa League football they will drop back if they are not well managed and disturbed by fatigued.

Liverpool are far better than Aston Villa. Aston Villa made some good signings this summer and I expect to see improvements from Villa this season but it seems the performance of the team is gradually deteriorating. Towards the end of 2022/2023 season Aston Villa were far better than they are performing now, this level of performance cannot be acceptable if they want to play European competition next season.

The game went well overall for Liverpool and it was about time that they finally won two very important games back to back in the Premier League without having to swallow another setback again. I am still not sure what I think about Liverpool so far. They seem to be fit and hungry, but I have thought that so often last season and then they disappointed again. Who knows maybe Klopp was able to finally push the right buttons again and we can see the good old Liverpool this season.

The problem for Chelsea is when they still can't find a strategy that really suits them which makes their performance sometimes difficult to guess whether they will be in good condition or not.
They have been very good at dominance and possession but their attack still looks the same as last season which always had problems with scoring instincts.
Jackson must be able to prove himself more now because he is one of the hopeful players for Chelsea in terms of goals as for the midfield I think they are still quite good at dictating the game.
Mauricio Pochettino should enlighten the fans on the present conditions of Chelsea. I'm clueless about the level of concentration and starting point of the blues' problems. They had all it took to win Garibaldis today, but they failed to capitalize on their opportunities. It was a terrible defensive performance that allowed Taiwo Awoniyi and Elanga to intrude into their territory. Chelsea lost again, and it was incredibly disappointing to see the Blues lose to a mediocre side. Nottingham Forest keep Chelsea at range with a defensive and counter-attacking approach.
I still think this massive overhaul is problematic even though it looks good, but of course with some new players and coaches, it will be like going back to the beginning and starting again and again every season if it continues.
Chelsea's play in terms of possession and initiation from the midfielders is good enough, now it's just a matter of focusing on how they don't waste opportunities.
On the other hand at the moment I don't want to defend Pochettino but we want something instant in the few matches Chelsea have had, I am quite aware that a turnaround in performance is a good thing but Pochettino needs at least 1 season I think for a good turnaround because at the moment with their poor finish last season it is very difficult to want a significant change to be able to perform well and become a champion candidate. The dream is too good to be true.
