After watching yesterday’s game, I think teams should be wary of Arsenal in stoppage and additional time because  Arsenal are utilizing the additional minutes to yield productive results. Against Manchester United and Manchester City, Arsenal have gotten late comeback goals and win games this season. Arsenal really showed the red devils who’s boss at the Emirates, the fans will ride on this victory for the rest of the month.
I must say that if mu was also making some mistakes. I think that if these are the mistakes being made by manchester united.

- Changing proper defenders to the horrible defenders like meguire and evans. I was feeling so skeptical once those guys were coming in to the game.

My curiosity was just getting answered after those players were coming in. The performance from manchester united has been dropping a lot especially in the defensive line. Manchester united has no ability in preventing the late game attack against arsenal..
Rice's shoot was pure luck caused by it was getting rebound from evans's foot to another direction that was unpredicted by onana.

Another goal from gabriel jesus was making everything become clear if arsenal was really winning the game. The late game must become the most anticipated time for any defenders.
It's opponent will try to increase the tempo to win the three points from its opponent.

MU will still play like shit it it doesn't care with its defenders. Ten hag needs to drop off meguire for the upcoming games. He was a burden to the club.

The fact that United, Newcastle and Chelsea all started terribly is a bad sign for them. The transfer window is closed as well which means that they can't just get a big name transfer, maybe a free agent is allowed but still, they are not getting anyone that can fix the situation. These teams spend os much money on transfers, how come they are doing this terribly? I mean its obvious that the transfers they made weren't as good and the players they had already aren't great neither. But the main question was, how could they spend this much and still not get anyone decent? That doesn't really seem like it would make sense, I would have expected them to do a lot better on transfers.

Arsenal seems like this season they are more serious about winning the Premier League title. Last season they failed because they couldn't beat Man City and because of several draws at the end of the season. And of course now Arsenal still haven't lost in their last 4 matches. Arsenal's worst result earlier this season was just a draw. This is different from Manchester United, which only got 2 wins and already experienced 2 defeats at the start of this season. And it could be said that Manchester United doesn't seem to be able to build good chemistry within their squad. Several times Man UTd players pushed themselves too hard. But I believe Man Utd will improve. Because actually they have enough good players to make the club compete in the top rankings.

Well, that's one way to think about it. The way I think about it is that Arsenal made some attacking changes bringing in Veira, Jesus while Man Utd made two defensive changes that changed the dynamics of the game for them bringing in Maguire (this is no Brainer - he needs no introductions) and Evans. I think that's what Arsenal exploited and used it to punish Man Utd. Imagine the 3rd and final goal that was scored. Man Utd is not a team that Liverpool that plays high line.

Maguire was up in Man Utd's half and Evans was jogging after Gabriel Jesus. Makes zero sense. For the first goal, instead of blocking his corner, Maguire was lifting hands up for the officials? What for?

If you give someone an opportunity, they would most likely exploit you.

The pleasure on the faces of Arsenal fans says a lot about how excited they are about the game. They will undoubtedly ride high on their victory for the rest of the month until they meet again in the second leg. Arsenal should be feared not just in the additional minutes, but during the entire game. I like how they are maintaining pace with Manchester City in the title chase; this season from all indications is promising to be another exciting one.

If in the Manchester United vs Arsenal match there are still those who blame the referee's decision, it is a sign that the Manchester United fans are trying to dismiss and do not want to accept the fact that they lost to Arsenal. Even though many of Anthony Taylor's decisions are often controversial, in that fight, in my opinion, he showed fairness and professionalism.
I choose not to laugh because this is medicine after death for a team that is struggling to win a match. It is amusing that Manchester United supporters would think that way. Were they anticipating a draw as a result of their subpar effort? Because they were allowed to do so by the referee, but instead of taking advantage of it, they handed up two more goals during the extra minutes of play.
Manchester United lost the game because no coordinated passes were made between them to score when given the opportunity,  by the referee.

Arsenal should be a team to be feared in this season. Those guys have been good rigjt from last season, even after this season, they are still good. I will continue to say it that Arsenal was the favourite to win the English Premier League last season, and they would have done it assuming they had the squad depth. As they fouht for the English Premier League title and including the Europa League because they do not have enough squad just like Manchester City hard, so they have to repeat their important players in every match which made them had fatigue and could not delivered and the 11th hour.

I know this season will not be like that because their coach have learnt his lessons. He has  started using younger player to help their frequent ones.

This is a bad take, and i disagree. The officiating in the English Premier League has been awful this season; including VAR Decisions (Which is supposed to be better). Fans, Sports channel and skysport championing this bad officiating will only lead to more of such. The beauty of the EPL meanwhile is that poor VAR decisions will touch every team in the league; no one is escaping that.
Quite rightly there have been too many mistakes from refs thus far this season, in general officiating hasn't been at its best and VAR have also missed obvious errors that they should have corrected, like for example City's second goal against Fulham should have been chalked off; but i disagree that Manchester United lost to Arsenal due to poor officiating, the decisions the ref and VAR took in that game were correct imo and Arsenal won because they were the better team.

Manchester United were caught off guard in the final minutes. Even though Manchester United had played quite well and could keep up with Arsenal's game in normal time (90 minutes). But yeah, in the extra minutes, Manchester United were caught off guard. And Arsenal made good use of it. But in essence Arsenal are much better like last season. Last season, Manchester United was also not very good at the start of the season. And this season they did it again. In the past, many people even blamed Cristiano Ronaldo when Manchester United's performance was very bad at the start of the season. Many think that Cristiano Ronaldo is burdening Manchester United's performance. But this season everyone must realize that the poor performance that Manchester United had at the start of the season I think was due to the bad strategy implemented by Erik Ten Heg and also the not very good performance of the Manchester United players themselves. My appreciation for a very good young coach (Arteta).

I was surprised by some of the decisions that the referee made yesterday, which I also blamed the referee’s decision, but there is nothing that can be done about it. Ten hag also made some mistakes. Manchester United should just accept the defeat and move forward. I will say that Ten Hag should just focus on his lapses and try to fix them so that similar errors won’t repeat themselves in the future. It’s annoying for a team like Manchester United to concede two goals within the extra time give, they should have managed to maintain the draw in which they were playing, at least they will have gone away with one point.

After this defeat, we don't know what steps will be taken by Manchester United, bearing in mind that the UCL competition awaits this month which will make us even more doubtful, because with conditions like a match against a club like Galatasaray, it's definitely not guaranteed. To be realistic, I think it will be difficult for Manchester United to qualify for the group stage. Even Copenhagen and Galatasaray can be far superior to Manchester United. Bayern Munich doesn't need to be counted Smiley
Upcoming match, Manchester United will face difficult opponent from Brighton Albion in Premier League and few days later against Bayern Munich on UEFA Champion League opening match. But have advantage with FIFA international matchday have time two week later for Erik ten Hag prepare their squad back to the top level. In Premier League, Manchester United still not have impressive performance losing from Arsenal and become second loss after defeating by Tottenham  Hotspur on matchday 2.

Still need time for Erik ten Hag make his team back to the top level, its not easy although have many new signing but some player need time for adapting.

Indeed, many Man United fans do not accept the referee's decision, they should blame ETH's decision, in the bigmatch match using the wrong formation and making ridiculous substitutions. Even if the referee wanted to be fair then the score would also be different because in this match Arsenal also suffered a lot from the referee's decisions, the score should have been 4-1 for Arsenal.
Fans always defend their favorite team in any way. But sometimes they do something annoying, they blame the referee for the lose. Sure, the coach should take responsibility of the lose, fans must blame Ten Hag. I also think that Man United got the defeat because of the wrong tactic used by Ten Hag, especially after normal time. So, there is nothing to do with the referee.  Grin

I look at it from a neutral position, Arsenal deserved to win. The game was dominated, when they controlled the ball they were really scary in contrast to Man United who seemed to rely more on counter attacks. Arsenal's creativity also looks more prominent, Oddegard and Martineli are very dangerous.
Indeed. Arsenal dominated the match. Arsenal won the ball possession, they made more shots, and they played more effective during the match. Actually, Arsenal deserved to get full points in this match. Arsenal players simply played better than Man United players.

I don't think it's worth complaining after the game is over, it won't change anything. Erik Ten Hag is aware of that and doesn't seem like he wants to make a big deal about it but I think he just needs to focus on improving a team that is very unstable right now.

The players seem to be playing for themselves and seem selfish. That's what I've seen on a number of occasions, especially when there's a good chance to cross but they didn't do it. Rashford repeated it several times, that is what must be avoided in the next match and Ten Hag must change his players to help the team, not for himself.

[....]I also don't know for sure whether the VAR decision for the goal scored by Garnacho was correct or not because after that incident it was Arsenal who managed to turn things around.
What are you trying to say here? Arsenal's last two goals has nothing to do with the disallowed MU goal. If you have a problem with the call then point it out on a technical level and not come of as someone saying MU was robbed of that goal so Arsenal could win. Garnacho was offside by the slightest of margins.

Well for me the referee really influenced the game although it's not a new thing but it's usually favours the opposite team. But that being said Manchester United really played well if not because if the last minute pressure and error that came from their back, I think they would have secured a draw or even won the game but thats football no really is finished untill the final whistle is blown and this theory was practice in the game between this two rivals.

Being a Manchester United fan is heartbreaking, with no peace of mind and many disappointments.
The fans are tired of these losses. This club is filled with drama!
Of course, it's always sad when the lovely team gets into a difficult situation. Man United fans are experiencing the same situation as Chelsea fans.
However, if you are a real fan, you mustn't tired and leave your lovely team. You must still support Man United, you must believe Man United management will try to find out the solution. They may evaluate the tactics used by the coach, or may evaluate skills & mentality of the players.

And I hope the next game will see a change. Let's see what Amrabat and Hojlund bring to the team.
Amrabat and Hojlund are good players, but they need to adapt with the tactics of Man United. I don't know if they will adapt quickly, but you shouldn't expect too much on them. It is not easy to give their best when they are still adapting with everything.

I agree, for even if you re-watch the match it is clear that Arsenal were superior to Manchester United at many points, so the fans' outrage is nothing more than frustration at the defeat. After all, even assuming that their goal would have counted, it wouldn't change anything, for the score is 3-1

It's just sad that fans always know what might happen, but the manager doesn't care.

I don't agree that Erik ten Hag is not worried about the performance of Manchester United. The coach will be the person to take responsibility for the results of the club and he will be the first to be sanctioned if the club keeps losing games. So many things are affecting the United team which include the ownership war between the and interested buyers. If the new owner is concerned about football, he would bring positive changes to the club. But to be sincere, United's performance in that game was not that bad.

They gave Arsenal a big fight and the Gunners were smart to take the few advantages they got to get a goal. I was thrilled by Jesus's third goal in the game, he was confident to know when to hold and strike. It won't take time they will start blaming Onana and I wonder what will goalkeeper when he is at the mercy of the defender. I don't know if they wanted him to do a miracle while the defense is not doing a good job.

For Arsenal to beat Manchester United by 2 goals, that means they might beat Manchester City also if they meet next and with this performance they can go forward in the league.

Arsenal was the better side in the game against Manchester United and the scoreline says it all.
Arsenal may very have a fighting chance when playing against Manchester City but not cause they won Manchester United by 2 goals. Needless to say, Manchester City is not on the same level with Man United and Arsenal comfortably winning Man United shouldn’t be used as a benchmark.
No doubt, Arsenal is in great form and strong enough to perhaps threaten Man City’s chances of winning the title again.
