I did some insight lol, matchday 1 was the only matchday where no game had more than 3 goals. All 10 games in Matchday 1 is under 3 goals. I think it might happen again in this upcoming Matchday 12. After the long break, players might focus more on defense. Just a feeling, so because of that I made a parlay (combo bet) on 10 games all ending with under 3 goals. What do you think—does it have a chance? The odds is only X80.50

The rumour is Manchester City and Guardiola is under negotiation to talking about new contract and it says Guardiola is willing to extended his contract for at least 1 year but before he sign new contract Guardiola want Manchester City provides a guarantee that they will give their priority to hold Haaland and Rodri besides these players in January later Guardiola want to bought the players he wants such as Martin Zubimendi and Jamal Musiala and i think for Zubimendi it is very possible to gets because lately at the interview Zubimendi has been said that he was to thinking to leave Sociedad if there is good offer come to him but for Jamal Musiala i think this is hard because i am sure Bayern Munich will attempts to hold this player
I wouldn't be surprised if Manchester City gives a mouth-watering offer to Pep Guardiola, his requests are reasonable and fair. Pep is an excellent coach and have achieved a lot for the club, so it will be fair for them to do so. I think Manchester city can acquire the service of both Zubimendi and Jamal Musiala. City has proven to be a world class club and dominant team in the Premier league title every season. And also have potentials of winning the UEFA Champions league, which could be a significant factor in persuading Jamal Musiala to join the team.

IMO, there is no need in Tottenham changing their logo since their current logo serve it purpose effectively. With the name clearly written on it, it ensures easy identification which is a key factor in brand recognition. The club probably have their reason for rebranding even though I don’t see the point. Well, it’s their choice and decision as but I think Tottenham Hotspur should strive to be on the news for trophies and football accomplishments.

I think the issue of multiple engagements have been taken care of as Manchester city have been eliminated from the EFL cup and are now left with the champions League, the premiership and the FA cup to contend with for now, but for the problems rocking the team, am sure Pep Guardiola would figure out something because this particular situation is not new to him though not at this dimension but am sure  he is up to the task based on his level of professionalism and years of experience in coaching roles across different clubs.

This is just one of the numerous challenges faced by managers during their professional careers. Although Pep is not still doing bad, at least not as bad as Ancelotti of Real Madrid so far. He's still holding the team all the way up and has performed well to remain second on the table standing just behind the Liverpool club.

The manager knows how to play his cards well but I think he might also require to bring in more younger talents to play other less important competitions they're faced with so that a very strategic and professional player doesn't go to injury in a little match when the team still got bigger games to play.

Pep Guardiola is the greatest manager in Manchester City history and also one of the greats in Premier League history. Pep Guardiola is right next to Sir Alex Ferguson if not greater. Pep’s impact on how modern football is played cannot be underestimated. I would like to see Pep renew his contract at Manchester City and break even more records with this team. Whatever decision he takes, his legacy at Etihad will remain forever.
Pep Guardiola have been a great manager because he transformed Manchester City from grass to grace. He has proven himself to be the best coach who have coached in three different league and he has done a very good job in does places. I think they are in talks regarding his contract extension and I pretty sure it will work out but not as long as the previous contract, I even see something like months not years. Ronaldo Nazario the Brazilian legend is also planning to take him as a head coach in the national team after he have succeed in becoming the head of his country football federation. This is also a great opportunity for him to rest after working the all day for many years.
Extension of Pep Guardiola contract in Man City is a welcome development, however want happens if the club ended the season trophy less following some streak of loses would the club board continue to stick with him? Though he had a very outstanding career at Man City and it seems this season had the worst of the previous seasons he had been their manager, fours straight losses has been his lowest results, meanwhile I hope and believe that Pep Guardiola would sign new players to strengthen the team especially in their midfield where Rodri is being played because it's obvious that is absence due to injury had negative impact on their team.

Isn't this what seperates good coaches from great coaches? I mean Pep is a great coach, maybe the best coach we have ever seen, he has won everything and I believe he could turn this ship around one way or another. Its not going to be easy and they are facing a lot of trouble so far but he could make sure to find a way to make this work and I believe we are going to see him get them more wins as well. If they could make this work then he is going to be considered even ebtter without a doubt. This is why I am expecting to win it this time around as well and without that we are not going to see it changing, he is going to be considered amazing and wins would be a lot better without a doubt.

I think the issues surrounding Manchester city are beyond injury worries, for me, I believe their problems are multi dimensional, ranging from injury worries, psychological, the intensifying nature of the competition and the loses they experience which could as a result of the other factors I earlier mentioned, now it important to know that all of these factors are capable of affecting the performance of the team and probably causing them the title but it all depends on the coach and how fast he can put his house in order before things really get messy or worse than they are. I think they have been through such a situation before and they came out better, so let's see who they will navigate through this too.

These moments are trying times for Manchester City and I don’t see them escaping this moments without trying to put in their best still. They’ve been playing pretty well for many seasons and as for this season that has began, they need to remain focus and optimistic that things will soon go in their way. Injuries and intensive training are two things that cannot be taken away from any club. If you’re trying to avoid injury of your players, there’s no way they can perform optimally in the field. Also, when there is no enough training for the players, they can’t play to their best when they play in the field also.

Injuries are unfortunate circumstances that no team knows when it’ll hit them, you should just get prepared to manage the situation in order not to fall too short of performance in the league and other competitions. Pep Guardiola has always been doing great and I fell there’s still time for him to make the team better and get back to his winning ways. He might not see this coming, but now that it has happened, he’ll just have to manage and control the situation and not allow it to escalate more in order not to cause them more loss this season. Injuries the coming matches, we’ll see how improved they may have gotten after the international break.

It is always a hot topic when a top team is not in their best form. And there is nothing in this world that will always run smoothly without any problems or anything and there will be times when a team plays badly and vice versa because many factors occur because this is football, anything can happen.

If we talk about Manchester City, I think Manchester City is still in good shape. And they are in 2nd position in the standings which I think is still better than them, and there are still 27 games left and there is a possibility or very likely Pep Guardiola will do something and make changes because we know their problem is they have many key players injured and this is not good news for Manchester City plus their problems lately.

And the problem that is happening in Manchester City in the team, is a new problem that Manchester City is facing and currently they only have 13 players who are in good shape. And this problem will be Pep Guardiola's hard work and in a situation like this it will make Pep Guardiola have a way or brainstorming so that in a bad situation Manchester City remains fine and remains at the top of the standings and will rise when everything has recovered and is normal, because the end of the season is still very long and as we know Manchester City always makes a perfect comeback because they have Pep Guardiola who I think is a smart coach.
11 Man City players were injured, although some of them only had minor injuries. But yeah, that really makes it difficult for Man City to achieve maximum results recently. I didn't expect the number to be this large. Because last month only a few Man City players were injured and some have recovered. Only Rodri and Oscar Bobb have not recovered since several months ago because these two players look like they will be out for quite a long time, especially Rodri, who is really needed, but it looks like he will be absent for the rest of the season if his condition doesn't improve quickly.  And I was quite surprised because in November the number of injured players at the Man City club really increased drastically. even De bruyne and ruben diaz are included and several other key players are also included. So we might be able to understand that Man City will experience difficulties towards the middle of this season. But Man City will usually recover from the middle of the season and improve their ranking again. because Pep usually does that.

Pep Guardiola is the best manager and successful manager that  has managed Manchester City as he has won several tittle with the team but I will disagree with you if you say pep Guardiola brought Manchester City from grass to Grace Manchester City has already made name before pep Guardiola came to Manchester City pep Guardiola will never go to an all ready made team, Manchester City has won the English premier tittle under the couch of Roberto mancini as he led Manchester City to their first premier league tittle before Manuel pellegrini won it with Manchester City in the 2013-2014 season so this are couches that you will say that  had brought Manchester City from grass to grace. But pep Guardiola gave them the UEFA Champions league tittle and this is what made him the most successful manager that has ever couch Manchester City as it stands now.

Pep Guardiola will truly be considered a legendary coach at Man City and also at previous clubs who also managed to win many trophies thanks to Pep. There is no doubt about the quality of Pep Guardiola. And I'm sure all football fans recognize him as one of the best coaches of all time for all the achievements he has achieved so far. And Man City will definitely try to extend the contract that Pep Guardiola has at Man City. because the current contract will expire at the end of this season.

But the news last season stated that the current season would be Pep's last season here. Because Pep seems to want a new challenge at a new club or something. but then this season I actually read the news that Pep was also open to a contract extension. But I'm personally curious, for example, if Pep leaves Man City, which club or team will Pep's next destination be? And I also wonder whether he will still be able to make brilliant achievements again in his new team one day.

The issue of the Tottenham player who was given a 7 match ban for an alleged racist remark made about his teammate Son Heung-min in a TV interview has gotten to the point where they have to punish the player Bentancur, I support the kind of punishment FA gave the player for his actions and he also apologized which was accepted by his teammates Son Heung-min but it didn't stop the punishment from coming.
Bentacur made a mistake, and he deserved to be punished, but i think 7 games is a lot for him. Although he got 7 games suspension, he can appeal the length of the ban. The only problem is that some might think bentacur's appeal raises a moral issue. It means totenham supports a player who is racist.

It's a dilemma for Totenham.

Dilemma or not this man deserves whichever punishment that's upon him and the 7 games is fine but if they feel like adding more to it no problem at least it will teach the others not to repeat such nonsense, is not really fair to do such. If he appeal which I think he won't, I would want the FA to not listen to him and besides the punishment is not out of the season, let him manage the 7 game ban, after all he'll play Europe competition.

Quote
Enzo was out of FA's jurisdiction when he did racist to his teammates, and this was the reason FA couldn't punish him.

It's kinda different with Bentacur's case. He did it inside FA's jurisdiction, so he is being used as an example of punishment for a racist player. I hope this explains you well.

Well that's true but things like this need to be taken with seriousness which ever party is in charge, like they all need to come together to decide on what to do with the defaulter after all is the same football and the higher authorities need to be involved too.

I get that, but when we are discussing Manchester City, they should never depend on one or two injuries in a way that destroys the whole season if that happens. Yes it can happen and if Messi was to get injured back when he played for Barcelona, it literally meant that the game is going to be completely different. But they should still be able to compensate for these incidents on a level that the season is still not that much at risk. It does change the trajectory of a season, but it shouldn't to the extent that it is game over as soon as an important player misses a lot of games.
Manchester City have lost 4 matches in a row due to injured players. Manchester City's performance and style of play looks like they  be weak. They have to win matches because if they lose a few matches now, their position will be in jeopardy because they will lose a lot of matches.  Which can damage their foundation and it will make a big difference in their standing position. if there are injuries, there will be no difference in the strength of Barcelona.  Because Barcelona is a strong team and will win most of the matches because their record is only 2 losing matches. It will be known in the next few matches whether the game will end or not. There is a huge difference between Manchester City and Barcelona but I will put Barcelona ahead and Manchester City is not strong enough to compete with Barcelona.

Guardiola knows about his position and through his coach career, he doesn't want to work for clubs with weak positions and not too good player resources. We can say he took the coach position in Barcelona when they weren't in a too good situation, but it was far than a crisis and it's the first club of Pep Guardiola. A next one is Bayern Munich what dominated Bundesliga for years and had many star players when Pep Guardiola joined them. A third club for him is Manchester City, and he joined them with many available star players too.

Now, he can sign a new contract with them, or can leave the club to take a rest for one or two seasons and take a new challenge, perhaps in another league. If Pep Guardiola views that his chance to succeed in Manchester City is small, he will leave with his known style.
To be fair there are many clubs with deep pockets that would let him do whatever he wants and get any player he wants. The transfer itself is done by the club, not the manager but he could give them names, and the teams would pay whatever needed to get those names. PSG would do that, with Bayern looking decent not sure if they will sack Kompany but he worked there before so maybe, he could go to United which would be funny but can happy, basically there are many teams, he could go to Serie A, he was talking about wanting to go there too.

So all in all, there are many teams he could go to. He could be the first coach ever to finish hexagon challenge, win treble with every team in 5 leagues, he could do that with an Italian team, and then do that with PSG, so could be very fun to watch that. In the end, him staying in City makes sense and he will probably do that, it's not going to be all that bad and could be a very profitable business without a doubt.

When one of the most important players in the team gets injured or leaves the team, there is a void and the bench player does not fill the void. Manchester City understand their problems but they don't have enough options to turn those weaknesses into strengths. Manchester City may have accepted that this is how they have to perform this season as there is no chance of signing any new players until the transfer window opens. Manchester City players need to boost their confidence and try to do better with their current team. If Manchester City play like they are the best team in the English Premier League and if they perform a little better they can go back to the top of the points table but their performance will be much better.

I get that, but when we are discussing Manchester City, they should never depend on one or two injuries in a way that destroys the whole season if that happens. I will say that Injury is the major problem that the club is having and that's what has led to other minor problems, because if the team is in a good form and they are consistent with their matches, those minor problems will not arise. If you flash back to last season when De Bruyne and Haaland had injury, the performance of the team dropped and they had difficulties winning their matches, until De Bruyne came back from injury. It's the same situation repeating itself currently, De Bruyne is not yet fit and some other players are out from the team due to injury. Rodri will not be part of the team till next season, which will definitely affect the performance of the team even if all other players are back from injury.

Manchester City has a very busy schedule. Manchester City players are performing in the Premier League, Champions League and EFL Cup matches. This is why City players are facing injuries. In the last match, Manchester City team played without three important players like Ruben Dias, Graeme Lisbon and Rodri. Due to the injuries of important players in the squad, Manchester City's overall performance is now a bit erratic.

Manchester City has lost consecutively in the last four matches. Guardiola has probably not faced such a situation in the last 7 years. Due to the international break, Guardiola has got a long time to find out the problems of the squad. If Guardiola is able to find out the weaknesses of the players, then I believe he will also be able to find solutions to the problems. I believe that we will see more organized gameplay from Manchester City players in the coming matches.

Contingency mentality of winning every games has got into their head. There was a time I never bet draw for Manchester City or win or draw. Just straight winning and I don't care what happen next and they were blasting every game. I think thag got on there head too much which is one of the reason why they are here right now. They are plying averagely instead of playing like it's th their last one. It's not too late to make amends in my opinion.

People are entitled to their opinion but I'm sure that Guardiola see everything that is happening and knows exactly the problem. He is going to bounce back and the players will do the same. Past season they won the Premier League, it's not like they never lose, they did but it wasn't back to back like this one and who knows what is coming next, as long as Arsenal and others are still not far, the season is not yet done with Manchester City.

I don't think Manchester City will be interested in giving Pep Guardiola another contract to sign to continue as the team coach after having a bad performance and losing four matches in a row, Pep Guardiola has done many things for Manchester City and the club will never forget what he has done for the club but I don't think they will agree to extend his contract because Pep Guardiola is not a coach that can turn things good when the team performance look poor, Pep Guardiola can't do without Star players or his key players.

We have already received news that Guardiola is now willing to become a national team coach. That is why we have not seen any interest from Guardiola in extending his contract with Manchester City. This season is probably Guardiola's last season with Manchester City. Guardiola will not renew his contract. Manchester City management should start looking for a new and experienced coach right now. However, I doubt whether Manchester City will find an experienced coach like Guardiola.

I have said before that Pep Guardiola is not the best coach in the World, If Pep Guardiola is the best coach why can't he make things Right when the team's performance is not good, Pep Guardiola can't give any excuse that is because of the players that have injury that makes the team performance look poor, The same injury problem is with Real Madrid but Carlo Ancelotti always find a way to fix things but it is difficult for Pep Guardiola to fix Manchester City own, We all know that Pep Guardiola used to Run away whenever the team is having a bad performance, and if I'm lying then let go and look at when he left Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Maybe Guardiola is not the best coach in the world. But who do you think is the best coach? However, Manchester City has lost four matches in a row. We cannot blame Guardiola completely for this. Real Madrid is also not able to do well this season. Real Madrid has lost two matches in the Champions League. Now would you say that Ancelotti is a bad coach? I would say that Guardiola is a fairly experienced coach. He may soon be able to solve Manchester City's problems.
