Not only goalkeepers and midfielders are important in football, because of course all players on every line are important to be able to play well. Also, De Gea is not the only source of Manchester United's problems, because previously Manchester United also had problems in defense or with their defenders. So yes, even though De Gea can play well, but their defenders are very weak, so of course it is difficult for Manchester United's goal to keep clean sheets.
I don't think De Gea is a source of problems in Manchester United's defence, but basically their defenders haven't had a great run of form which is the source of their weak defence. But of course we have no right to blame any of them because the coach must be responsible for the strategy and choice of players who will play in the main line-up.

Some of us have said Maguire is not a good defender for Manchester United, but Ten Hag still used him in some games. I don't know, Ten Hag knows what the consequences are and he is responsible for his team's performance. So if Manchester United really wants to appear strong in defense, then they shouldn't just buy a goalkeeper, but several defenders are also important to bring in.

It seems to me that even if Man U remain unchanged next season, their game shouldn't get any worse... As far as I know, the main players are not leaving the club yet... Man U showed good football last season and finished the season in third place... If they don't have any major team changes, they can continue to play well without any new transfers...
Their problem is similar like Arsenal where they don't have a good player in bench, if there's a player in Manchester United is injured, their performance would be bad. However Manchester United make a crucial move where they let De Gea to leave, goalkeeper is one of the most important position similar like a central midfielder. I don't think Manchester United's performance would be same, it's either they're better or worse.

You are kind of right, they spent lots of money last season getting players, but its not all about having big squad but the players should be ready to work for the club. See the way Arsenal performed well last season and most of the players in the club are young player, but from their performance, you will see that those players are ready to play for the club. I think Chelsea needs young and talented players, its not all about getting big players, but getting players that are ready to play for the club.

They have spent a lot of money to get quality players but still in the end there is no change they can get. In my opinion the players have worked hard according to their respective qualities and what is the problem in my opinion personally is from management who lacks attention and cannot give freedom to the coach, they just play and cannot work well together on the field so that team cohesiveness is difficult created.

Right from beginning i knew Chelsea's, problem is not from the coach but from the squad, Tuchel was a talented coach, and since they sacked him, things have being getting worst for Chelsea, but lets hope we see a positive result from Chelsea with their new coach.

Yes, it's a shame, I think that at that time the Chelsea management had not sacked Tuchel from his coaching chair maybe the situation would not be as bad as it is now and we can see how Bayern Munich are now, they are successful in the Bundesliga.

Manchester United needs a bigger budget than that to be able to get the number of players they want, while Glatzer gives a limited budget and it is of course a big job for Erik Ten Hag to be able to make the best use of the given budget. Obviously it won't be easy, because after all with a limited budget like that Manchester United will find it difficult to move, especially the names they are after are players who have a high transfer value. If it continues like this, then we cannot blame the coaches if in the future they decline again, because the funds they receive do not support significant changes.
Its seems diffiuclt under Gltazer era Manchester United has limited budget for signing new players, I think Manchester United manager Erik Tan Hag have smart thing how to manage small budget for getting which potential player. Currently, Manchester United success sign Mason Mount from Chelsea with transfer fee above 60 million euro and has chance for Tan Hag get two or three new player later depend with limited budget allocate by Glatzer.

Manchester United has huge ambition for signing Harry Lane but depend on Glatzer want spent above 100 million euro for transfer fees or United have looking new center forward with lower fees transfer from Harry Kane.

I would like to state that the first very problem Chelsea had last season was having a big squad with too many players..

Tuchel who had the control was sacked and a new coach came in, for an amateur but good coach like potter, a team with so much size would be a problem!!!

I believe Chelsea's difficulties last season were subtle and compounded, resulting to unpredictable play. On their day, they can still defeat the greatest, but there are too many terrible performances, but now that Chelsea has signed new manager Mauricio Pochettino, I believe they will progress with each game. They will not win every game in the upcoming season because the Premier League is a dynamic league in which any side may beat any other.
Chelsea have sold several of their key players; I believe that if they buy new players, Chelsea will strive harder than they did last season. The manager should sign skillful players who will perform well for Chelsea next season.
With all the possibilities that will happen after they make a big overhaul of their squad for next season, I don't understand why they sell a lot of their main players even they sell them at a cheap price.
Mauricio Pochettino does have experience managing Premier League teams, but to revive Chelsea, of course, he has a very heavy burden, especially since this team has very high targets and also to be able to restore the performance of a team that has fallen is not easy.
I would like to state that the first very problem Chelsea had last season was having a big squad with too many players.. Tuchel who had the control was sacked and a new coach came in, for an amateur but good coach like potter, a team with so much size would be a problem!!! Finding a stable line up, and keeping a big part of the squad happy will be a problem!!, and that was the genesis!!! I am not surprised that an overhaul of players who surely  are less motivated to play for Chelsea and are surplus to requirements is happening now!!! And we (Chelsea) cannot send 10 out and bring in 10 again!!! We need to reduce the size of the team and with the quality of players left, Young and Old, and the little/ required additions made then a good coach should be able to be successful in the new season!!!
A major setback that led to the ugly performance of the club finishing 12th position last season was due to some unhappy players in the team who for reasons best known to them were not comfortable being with the club again and this in extension didn't give the expected results despite spending so much on new signings last season.

The above as explained made the overhauling necessary, taking away the old bad eggs while bringing in new ones. Pochenitto is an experience manager and would definitely excel at Chelsea looking at the quality of players he is bringing into the club in the likes of Christopher nkuku, Nicolas Jackson, what we are expecting to see is a signing of a good central midfielder in place of Matao Kovacic who has joined the City. A midfielder that can work side by side Enzo Fernandes come next season.

In my opinion, Bruno will play in Eriksen's position, while Mount will play behind Striker. Bruno will start the build-up of attacks from behind because Bruno is a typical playmaker so he is the one who flows the ball from the back to the front, while Mount will move freely behind the strikers looking for and opening space and has a high enough scoring instinct so he can score goals when the strikers experience stalemate to score a goal.
Your analysis looks good and even like a coach, but I don't think you are a trainer here even though what you say looks unique and good too. However, it is also difficult for everyone to know what tactics the Manchester United coach will use next season, even though in general you know where the players are now, this can still change next season because the coach knows better when placing players. Not the fans.

I like your analysis about the way they will play... But imagine a double CAM role for Mount and Bruno, with Casemiro being the sitting Dm!!! Because Bruno can score goals and assist well too and i am sure both CAM's track back enough!!! Lol... in my opinion the attack will cook and Manchester united will be so unpredictable moving forward!!!
I think what you are saying is also more accurate because in the previous season it was also clear that Bruno could also score goals and also provide assists well, although sometimes this also happens very rarely because Bruno usually prefers to score goals himself when the opportunity arises. And I also prefer Casemiro to play in the middle, because he is also very experienced in that position.

The difficulties Chelsea encountered last season were in fact numerous had a cumulative impact on their performance and contributed to a degree of unpredictability. They occasionally defeated elite teams showcasing their potential but they also had their share of subpar performances. However the recent hiring of Mauricio Pochettino as the team new manager inspires fresh optimism for advancement. It is crucial to admit that expecting your side to win every game this upcoming season is unreasonable given how unpredictable the Premier League is and How any team can beat any other. However Chelsea may work harder and aspire for a more successful campaign in the future by addressing their team adjustments and spending money on talented players.
The bottom line is I don't think players are a problem for Chelsea and they have very good players, I think this is a result of the management's decisions that may not be in line with the coach and the players. Management cannot unite one another so that cohesiveness in the game is difficult to materialize. True, sometimes the Blues are able to beat some teams and even elite teams, but it doesn't happen much and maybe just a fluke. And still, in the end it is difficult for them to achieve consistent results for a victory. I see that Pochettino's arrival is slightly different compared to previous coaches, he looks more serious in his work, and plans various extraordinary maneuvers for Chelsea's progress process. I have little faith in Pochettino's coaching and with his arrival I assume that in the Premier League next season Chelsea will show a change.

Since glazer was only allocating around £120m for summer transfer. Ten hag must be thinking so hard to use that budget properly. As you can see that if ten hag has been spending around £55m to buy mount from chelsea. In another case, ten hag really needs to sign onana. I expect manchester united's transfer budget will remain very small if MU will be dealing to buy onana from intermilan. Unlike another club. Manchester united is now having a lot of budget for that.
Ten hag must be thinking how to allocating the fund efficiently in this transfer season. It's very bad for ten hag. MU has been rumored with so many players but it seems like that manchester united has no enough budget to buy more players.
The price of football players are so crazy these days. I just wanna see how good performance from mount and onana next season.

With the size of the budget that has been set, Manchester United can't do much, so it's back to Erik Ten Hag who must be able to maximize these funds. Because as we can see from other clubs their budget is more than that. The Glazers don't seem to be serious about fully supporting the future of Manchester United. Because it demands that Erik Ten Hag be able to take advantage of a limited budget, don't blame Erik Ten Hag if the results aren't as good as last season.

This summer transfer market is quite important and when Manchester United's budget is minimal, the addition of players will not be achieved optimally. The Glazers should have sold Manchester United to Sheikh Jassim from the start, maybe this club will get big money.

Manchester United may be looking to strengthen their defense at the moment. Because if your own defense is not strong then it is very difficult to break the opponent's defense and score. First you have to protect your goal post. After securing their own goalposts, a team usually thinks of strengthening the midfield and forwards. Ever since the change of ownership of Manchester United, the team has been rebuilding itself. If this team can be given good financial support, then Manchester United will be in the list of the best teams in the Premier League. The club will be looking to revamp their squad with a number of new players before the transfer market closes this summer.
after Man City's success last season was able to get the treble title, this is what triggered Man United to try their luck to compete with Man City. even if it's a little difficult, Erik Ten Ha tried a newer strategy by strengthening their defense to be able to maintain their points in the standings and of course MU also needs talented players to add to the defense.
on the one hand Man United is currently ambitious to get up and aim for the champions league title to be able to carve new history like Man City but it's not that easy because this will be a tough task for Erik Ten Ha to be able to keep his players consistent in every match .
At the moment, if Manchester United competes with Manchester City for the Champions League trophy, then Manchester United will be far behind. Manchester United should plan to win the Premier League title next season. Because if they think about winning the Champions League trophy, they won't do well in the Premier League. Manchester United's main focus next season will be on going for the Premier League titles while also aiming to do well in the Champions League. If they can go ahead with this plan then they could win the Premier League title next season as well as change some players and prepare for the Champions League next season.
It will not be so easy for Manchester United even if they plan to win the Premier League title. Because Manchester United's tough opponent could be Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle.

That’s a very small price allocated to a manager to use and buy players during summer transfer, besides prices of players have increased dramatically now unlike before. Ten Hag have been putting in a lot of effort since he joined Manchester United as a manager and the clubs performance has also improved and they play impressively well than before.

For a manager who’ve showed this capacity within the period he has spent in a new club, he should be given more money to be able to buy new players that’ll contribute and make the team more better amidst the competitive nature of the league. This should be amongst other reasons why the fans led a protest for the glazers to go and allow the Qatar sheik to take ownership of the club.

It sounds this news gonna be bad news for some people.

The Premier League are set to offer live television coverage of every Sunday match from the season after next in a major change to their broadcast rights strategy.

Mail Sport has learned that as part of a planned increase in the number of live games shown each season from 200 to 270 all Sunday matches could be available by the start of the 2024-25 campaign, which is likely to lead to fans being forced to adapt to a variety of kick-off times throughout the day, from midday until 7pm.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12250787/Premier-League-offer-live-TV-coverage-Sunday-game.html

That means if there will be a lot changes for sunday. I think that it's quite difficult for the fans to adapt with the new schedule. This won't be a major problem but people needs time to adapt with the kick that can start from mid day.
This may also affecting schedule of EPL in my country for sunday.

Mason Mount is a young player with great potential and I think Manchester United are very lucky to get him, at the age of 24 it is possible for this player to contribute big and long to the team and can even be a good investment in the future.
Mason Mount is a Chelsea player who has amazing statistics on Chelsea's high press defense game during the Tuchel era.. His pressing and counter pressing statistics are high.. Mount has excellent pass through ball techniques, cool free kicks and good corner kick techniques... Agility his game was required in the Eth-era Man United Team. Still young, 55 million pounds plus adds on 5 million pounds. Is a good bargain for Man United.

The amount allocated for shopping for Manchester United in the transfer market this summer is quite limited. So Ten Heg needs to think hard about utilizing the budgeted funds so that they can be used more effectively. At the moment, Manchester United, especially Ten Heg, seem to be really serious about bringing in Andre Onana. Inter Milan also seems ready to release its flagship goalkeeper. But Inter Milan expect Manchester United to redeem 50 million euros to be able to get Andre Onana. And I think that's a pretty high price. But this price is indeed commensurate with Onana's performance which was indeed extraordinary last season with Inter Milan. In fact, he also performed quite well in the Champions League with Inter Milan. So it's only natural that Manchester United will try hard to get him.

But talking about the goalkeeper of Manchester United. then I was reminded of De Gea whose contract is about to expire. And will be a free transfer status. And I really regret the attitude of Manchester United who offered a contract extension but with too big a salary cut. But I also can't blame Manchester United because the club's financial condition seems to be not doing well at the moment.

Kim Min-jae is often linked with Man United because they do have an interest in the player. However, this interest was not followed up by submitting an offer to Napoli, so it can be concluded that Man United was not really serious about signing Kim Min-jae. I think Man United doesn't have a lot of budgets, so they are not too bold in hunting for Kim Min-jae and what is to blame for this is the protracted acquisition process (Glazer's attitude that makes everything so dicey).
Erik Ten Hag shows absolutely no interest in signing a center back; he is only interested to secure an outstanding attacker to strengthen the defensive side of his team. Manchester United would have considered signing Kim Min-jae, but the club has further significant objectives they must accomplish. The club is currently in a bidding process for new ownership, with The Glazers family seizing all go-ahead bids for the sale of the club. I believe that is the primary challenge on the ground, and United supporters want an immediate action to be triggered in order to put an end to all of the club's up and down trends.
Erik Ten Hag's strategic disinterest in reinforcing the defense, particularly the center-back position, seems almost audacious in the current state of football. I, however, am not entirely sold on this approach. While Ten Hag's focus on strengthening the offense with a top-class attacker is commendable, I believe the solidity at the back is equally, if not more, crucial.

The circumstances surrounding Kim Min-Jae's transfer further exacerbate the situation. With the South Korean star closer to signing with Bayern Munich, United's defensive options appear to be dwindling. With the budget reportedly strained due to potential acquisitions like Onana and Mount, a high-caliber center-back may be beyond reach.

That said, the ongoing takeover saga at Manchester United is a primary concern that shadows all potential transfer movements. An unclear financial outlook can have debilitating effects on a club's ambitions. Will the Glazers finally greenlight a sale? This suspense seems to be Manchester United's biggest roadblock this season.
