What we have to realize is that even players who come from mediocre skills become extraordinary when coached by Pep Guardiola. Somehow, but Pep Guardiola can always bring out the maximum ability of the players he trains. As we know today even we see an extraordinary balance among all Man City players. Mateo Kovacic is an experienced midfielder and it wouldn’t take for him to adapt to Manchester City. He’s still in the premier league and I don’t think there’s much of a different experience he’ll need than the one he already gotten at Chelsea and his previous clubs. Last season was not just a good season for all the Chelsea players but I believe their individual brilliancy will speak for them at their new teams.

I think Pep made the right choice in bringing Kovacic on board. I am aware of the man's high level of football IQ. Inter, Real Madrid, and Chelsea were three of his prior teams where he excelled. Given that he was given a 4-year deal and that Manchester City will now be more active than they have been in the past, I believe Pep will make him one of his permanent players rather than a temporary one.

Why will he be unable to fit in at Manchester City? But now playing well in own job desk isn't enough to become a good player, you need to have some other skill and put more effort. A goalkeeper need to have an accurate pass, a defender need to have quick sprint and become a midfielder during attack position, a winger need to have a good shot and how to score a goal, not only have quick sprint and give an assist to a center forward player.

It has been a 12-year journey for De Gea with Manchester United. He is still not too old for a goalkeeper as well and his performance should have been enough to convince the board to give what he wanted. If somehow this Onana transfer doesn't happen I wonder if they have another formula.

If they can't fill De Gea's place with another solid goalkeeper this is just a really serious problem for the Red Devils. Because in times they weren't able to defend their opponents well De Gea took a huge responsibility. They need a goalkeeper with similar characteristics.

Yeah Kovacic and Gundogan are in the same position Central Midfield obviously it is an ideal replacement although Gundogan is a little better in the attack, but age will be increasingly inhibiting. By the way, I found something unique in Kovacic transfer, Chelsea did receive 29 million but in fact Manchester City had to pay 34 million another 5 million will be distributed among the clubs that have signed Kovaci in the past including Madrid, Inter, Dinamo Zagreb and LASK. Kovacic signed a contract for up to 4 seasons meaning Pep wants to make him a main player not as a temporary player.
