Ronaldo would definitely be a good addition to Manchester United's attack, he is in great shape and regularly scores for his team and for Portugal, but it is obvious that due to his age they will not be able to offer him a long-term contract, which of course will not suit him, so I think his return to Manchester United is excluded. I have also not heard that he is interested in a coaching career, so I also exclude this option. Amorim can poach a few players from Sporting, but it will still not be enough for him to fix the team, for this they need transfers, and I think Amorim will get them in the winter transfer window.
Manchester United tried with Cristiano Ronaldo four seasons ago and they failed with this bet. Reasons can be from Cristiano Ronaldo or Ten Hag or both but four years later, Cristiano Ronaldo has been already four ages older so it's impossible for Manchester United to bet on him again.

Furthermore, two years ago, before Cristiano Ronaldo left the club, he made an interview like a bomb and it revealed many bad things in the club, not only Ten Hag but the owners and other people, so the club owner will not want to work with Cristiano Ronaldo again. They hired a player, paid him, and would like to see respect and professionalism from the player, not disrespectful interview that was done by Ronaldo 2 years ago.

It's certainly that Amorim will try to bring some new players to the club but none of them will be Cristiano Ronaldo.

Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

I'm not sure he'll come back to MU, because he was 39 years old. it's hard to compete in tight competition in the premier league if a player aged like Ronaldo. He's been good in the Arab League and will retire on Al Nassr FC. I am pretty sure Amorim will bring his golden player Viktor Gyokeres to Old Trafford. MU need a pure sticker like him to accommodate Amorim scheme. Ronaldo is good, but with his aged, it's not so effective to implement the Amorim strategy. Even if it doesn't happen, Amorim may look for other alternatives to filled up a real attacker, Randal Kolo Muani and Christopher Nkunku on the radar if Viktor Gyokeres failed to join MU.

While Ronaldo may be he more suitable if he becomes an assistant coach to Amorim on MU.

But what is very unfortunate now is that Ruud van Nistelrooy is no longer part of the Manchester United team coaching staff, even though since Ruud van Nistelrooy replaced Ten Hag he managed to make the team's performance better and even Man United managed to win 3 out of 4 matches led by Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Manchester United's management decision was indeed late to fire Ten Hag but I understand that because Man United's management has made a long-term commitment to Ten Hag but in fact Ten Hag really failed and there is no possibility for him to make the team better.

For the future, no one can predict what Ruben Amorim will do with Man United, but one thing is for sure that this is a difficult job for Ruben Amorim because the Man United team is already very depressed and also the competition in the Premier League is quite fierce so I think we don't need to have very high expectations for Ruben Amorim.
If Ruben Amorim can make Manchester United better than when they were coached by Ten Hag, that would be enough for this season, I think so because building a team takes time to process.

He's come with changes and plans to elevate the team, one of his moves is to revive Mason Mounts career as he admires Mounts versatility in the center. Also, the team is dependent on him to make serious improvement that'll take Man U away from their premier league low position. However, Ruud van thinks that the red devils need a proven goal scorer if they want to become a strong force in the premier league. Who could actually do that for the team? Sad that he's no longer on the coaching side.

Before the international break, we were able to see a lot of new developments in the English Premier League and one of the most interesting of them is the one that happened at Manchester United. The club have signed former Sporting manager Ruben Amorim to help bring them back to winning ways as well as make them become competitive in the league and every other competition. Do you think the Portuguese manager who's believed to be a good great tactician will succeed in the English Premier League or he'll struggle to shine in the league? Let me get your thoughts on this
Yeah I believe Amorim will change Manchester United and brought Manchester United to win treble: Premier League, Europa League and Carabao Cup. Amorim is a Portugal player and he have played with Ronaldo in the pitch for few times, I'm sure Ronaldo will back to Manchester United and destroy all the teams.

Mark my words, Manchester United will be the strongest team after coached by Amorim.

Really? How much compensation Manchester United should pay to bring back CR7 to the Old Trafford?

I meant, this sounds to good to be true to happen. The story between Manchester United and CR7 has ended. It's time for them to bounce back without being overshadowed by their legend, CR7.

CR7 is happy on his current club. There's no need to speculate he would be back to the EPL again, he really commits to play on saudi pro league until WC 2026

Being an team mate in Portugal don't mean Amorim will automatically bringing Ronaldo back to Manchester United and i think Amorim will thinking with realistic because Ronaldo have passed his prime and he is now 39 years old which potentially for next 1 year or next 2 years we will see him to be retired and if Amorim want to make Manchester United performing well again then he should be bought younger player for regeneration Manchester United squad and first of all i think Manchester United fans should be ruled out about the trophies and the most important is Amorim should be able to make Manchester United performing better at Premier league so in my opinion this is more reasonable target rather than targetting the trophies

It is true that Ronaldo is not young anymore so I think he will not return to Manchester United as a player again, it will not be good for the team because Ronaldo is no longer able to compete in top European competitions such as the Premier League.

Ruben Amorim was quite successful with Sporting Lisbon but don't overdo it because the Premier League is different and it is not an easy job for Ruben Amorim to become Manchester United coach, everything takes time and process and Ruben Amorim still needs that, maybe he can only make Man United like he wants next season for this season Ruben Amorim can only improve a little so that Man United can get a place to finish best.

Julian Alvarez is not too excellent and cannot compete with Erling Haaland in the official position, but at Etihad Stadium, Julian Alvarez still has unique features that cannot be mixed. Alvarez is not a "false 9" even though this striker plays very wide and if paired with Haaland, he often drops back and suddenly enters the penalty area to receive the ball and finish. However, if Alvarez is pulled down, it will be difficult for this striker to compete for the position of Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan, or De Bruyne.  I believe if he stays for a few more seasons, Alvarez can replace De Bruyne.

By deciding to move to Atletico Madrid, Alvarez will certainly be involved in the biggest games, but it is unlikely to be the Champions League final. So this will be a big bet for Alvarez.

Julian Alvarez was good and even more of a rounded player than even this Halaand we are talking about, Alvarez was simply just not going to get those minute at Manchester city because unlike the past where Pep Guardiola do prioritize players of his caliber or ability now he prefers the direct approach or players like Halaand whose quality are direct and this have won him the champions league, for me Alvarez made the best decision by joining atletico Madrid because they actually are one of the best in the world. Atletico Madrid might be facing difficulties now but they definitely do challenge for the league title and the champions league. But even without that has won everything in world football and just need runs of game time now to help himself and nothing much

Yes, Alvarez is a more versatile player than Halaand, he is ready to take on any role that Guardiola assigns: from "number 9" to "number 10" or even in the attacking midfield position.
Alvarez is not a finisher like Haaland, nor can he be as creative as De Bruyne. He is a versatile and respected player at Man City but has never been an indispensable mainstay. But by selling Alvarez to Atletico, Guardiola has lost a tactical asset.

Anyway, in the short term, Alvarez's move to Atletico Madrid is a solution that satisfies both sides: Alvarez has the opportunity to become a mainstay of a top European team, while Man City earns a significant profit to be able to reinvest in the future.

I agree that United management was a bit slow in taking action in sacking Erik Ten Hag, oh maybe they were still fooled by the sweet promises of 2 trophies. But look at Ten Hag results before he left, leaving behind many illnesses that Amorim had to treat. Fortunately Ruud van nistelrooy has restored the player's lost confidence a little. Now let Amorim cook
Ruud van Nistelrooy is a good manager, he knows how to develop good chemistry between the players, he got so along with them not like the former coach that always developed issues with the players, he's strictly a strong disciplinarian because he's always focused on player's behavior other than looking at their performance on the pitch. However the team's management trust Erik Ten Hag and sacking him was not part of the plan, he was given more time to make things right for the club but what did he actually do? He brought a club that was in standard shape to fallen phases and you expects everyone to be happy with the current circumstances of the club? Perhaps the new boss appointed, Ruben Amorim will elevate the performance and stats of the club this season? That's the strong beliefs every clubs possess and you expects upgrade any moment.

Last season wasn't as bad for Manchester United compared to this season, this season started as a big mess for them not just problem from the coach but the players as well, Ten Hag cannot be 99% of their problem, since his departure the only big team they played is Chelsea which is not considered a tougher opponent due to primarily in the stage of rehabilitation and are still developing into full potentials.

Ruud van Nistelrooy already left, he was the one in charge after the soon sack of Ten Hag and he gave them those few wins and no loss. The new coach has arrived, with his own different pattern and tactics, the team will be undergoing serious transformation in their style of play, the best of them is expected but shouldn't it take a few more time to adapt?

Tired of talking about set of players who are lazy asf and couldn't own up and take responsibilities when games are not going well rather you'd see them come online to post clips of games they never did well. I have seen most of these names within the club seen coaches come and go, when will they also leave? Ten Hag had a great first season for real but whatever happened has happened, the current coach has to look at how Erik ten Hag failed and blend in immediately.

Yes, I also think that currently the players are not able to perform and play well according to the set that they are creating. If the players are lazy and irresponsible and spend their season playing badly in every match, then it is their failure. I do not see any reason for coaches to come and go here because if the players do not play well and if the players are not changed, then that will definitely happen. Ten Hag's first season was great, but later on, since his strategy did not work, he should have used other strategies but he did not. However, since there is a new coach now, he must try differently and form the players' sets well. It is not possible to continue in the way that Ten Hag failed, but the new coach must manage in a new way so that the team can play better games and their performance can return to its previous level.

There are too many considerations and also excessive trust in Ten Hag so that why he can stay longer, but now we will see new condition for Manchester United with more dominant spirit of the players.
Actually some players also seem to not like Ten Hag so much and it easy for them to show their dislike by playing as they please and making the team decline to make the coach lose his place, and in fact after Ten Hag left the players were able to play well again.

Erik Ten Hag had quite good players to have turned things around and ample of time was indeed being given to him while his stay at United, then what stopped him from signing desired players which would helped him out ,, from my perspective, Erik Ten Hag failed in the contract he was signed for and nothing to justify him the fact that he failed his duty as Manchester United head coach.

Yeah Erik Ten Hag should be fired before the start of the season but management gave him a chance until the last chance was given in the last 2 matches and he failed, now Manchester United are starting a new era with new coaches and so far their performance looks better but we have to see them playing more matches at least until the middle of the season. Manchester United collected 15 points from 11 matches and there was still plenty of time to catch up.

And finally Manchester United has taken a significant step by appointing Erik Ten Hag as the new manager and he must be able to cure the disease left by Erik Ten Hag, and Ruben Amorim is one of the young coaches who is quite prominent in Europe today, considering his success with Sporting CP Ruben Amorim and Manchester United have high hopes for Ruben Amorim to be able to change Manchester United to be better and cure the disease left by Erik Ten Hag. Ruud van Nistelrooy has replaced Erik ten Hag who was fired at the end of last month, he managed to achieve three brilliant wins from four matches and 1 draw. And he closed a short but memorable page at the club that once made his name famous and that was very cool, and hopefully Ruben Amorim does not disappoint Manchester United fans and Ruben Amorim's first match with Manchester United is against Ipswich Town next week and this should be an easy match.

They sacked Jose Mourinho who won UEFA Europa League for them, and were very patiently with Ten Hag because he won two small titles for them. Manchester United's owners are very calm and patiently with Ten Hag but they are conflicting themselves too. Before Ten Hag, they did nearly the same with Ole Gunnar Solskjær and their kind treatments to Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Ten Hag are unfair for Jose Mourinho.

Now, they will have to restart their development project with another new coach, Ruben Amorim who is one of most promising young coaches in Europe. Ruben Amorim succeed in Sporting Lisbon with very limited resources from player to financial budget, and surely he will have better conditions for his job at Manchester United. Hopefully he will do his great job for Manchester United and help them to win Premier League title after many years.

Erik Ten Hag got chances but failed to give best to team. Now Manchester United starts new with fresh coaches showing improvement. From 11 matches they earned 15 points which is decent start and plenty of time remains to catch up. It is wise to wait until at least mid season to judge new coaches allowing them time to settle in and implement their strategies. This change might bring Manchester United back to top but only time will tell if they can sustain this positive momentum and achieve success.

Julian Alvarez is like Inzaghi in that past and they belong to a type of player who look not easily recognizable on field, but they can make big differences for their team. Give them opportunities and Inzaghi, Alvarez will punish your team with goals to help their team taking advantage or winning a match.

I believe that Pep Guardiola actually wanted to keep Julian Alvarez in Manchester City but the player possible was like Cole Palmer. He no longer wanted to stay in Manchester City and satisfy with a substitution role. Alvarez wanted to leave and find opportunities to be a main player in another club, he need new challenge and upgrade for his career.

Now we can see, in a player injury crisis, Pep Guardiola no longer have good replacement for Haaland at a striker position and Julian Alvarez can play at different positions on field as well.

Trust the process, imbibe consistency
You are a very good football analyst, you know what happen in Manchester United camp, unlike other bias people that gave fault to only the coach Erik. I feel like the way they wanted to see him leave the club looks more like a coordinated attack because that campaign of let Erik Ten Hag go started since ending of last last season but the club didn't listen. The only mistake he did was not signing up more good players and free some of this dumb ones.

When Ruud took over, look at how the players turn up for the matches, they attack like they are going to kill their opponents, look at how the midfielders were attacking and scoring goals, what now stop them from doing that when Erik was around, not everything the coach has to be blame for but that was in the end, the remaining rest on Amorim and we will see if Erik sack was justified or the another Pochettino in Manchester United again.

I don't really know what to say went wrong the Erik Ten Hag but what I do know is that his performance at Old Trafford was bad if not terrible. He was even lucky to have a management that believed so much in him and gave him all necessary supports and assistance including being so patient with him even when it became obvious that he was the problem. He indeed failed the club but it is what it is. Now that Ruud Van Nistelrooy was able to stabilize things a little for the club, lets hope that the new management will be able to continue in the new direction or things will also get out of hands with him.
