This was Ruud van Nistelrooy’s final message to Manchester United:

"To everyone at Manchester United Football Club, in particular the backroom staff, the players and the fans. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredible efforts and support. It has been a privilege and honour to represent the club as a player, coach and manager, and I will always cherish the memories we have shared together. @ManUtd will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope there are many more glory days at Old Trafford very soon - not only because I want the club to do well, but because you all deserve it! All the best and take care, Ruud.”

I strongly believe that in the future, Ruud van Nistelrooy will be called to manage Manchester United. The fans love him and depending on the success he achieve wherever he goes next, he will win the respect of the club hierarchy as a manager. Ruud van Nistelrooy has been able to achieve what many ex-players turned coaches haven’t, he had an undefeated streak as Manchester United’s manager.

How much compensation Manchester United should pay to bring back CR7 to the Old Trafford?

I meant, this sounds to good to be true to happen. The story between Manchester United and CR7 has ended. It's time for them to bounce back without being overshadowed by their legend, CR7.

CR7 is happy on his current club. There's no need to speculate he would be back to the EPL again, he really commits to play on saudi pro league until WC 2026
Now we are in interesting situation as we have Cristiano Ronaldo current contract with Al Nassr is going to end at the end of this season in June 2025 with he was expecting to have extension until June 2027 as he is looking for his 1000 goals in all leagues but as we have Ruben Amorim at the Old Trafford we have many rumors about him to join Red Devil's at the end of this season even these are just rumors but in soccer we can have anything possible so at the age of 40 Manchester United will sign him for 2 years its fascinating.

No one having doubt he is legend here, but now he is over 40 and its never been ideal to have player over 40 in any team hopefully Ruben Amorim will not go with any decision like this, and he will go ahead for the long strategy with many new and skilled players are available to him here those can give their best for having good results.
Manchester United is looking forward to creating a solid team that will stand the test of time with Ruben Amorim, so I don't see Cristiano Ronaldo coming back to Manchester United especially with the fact he is almost 40, also don't forget the fact that he made a lot of criticisms against the clubs when he talked about facilities that has remained the same from the initial time he joined Manchester United from sporting Lisbon, he has made some unfavorable remarks about the club and I don't think the board will be happy to see him return even the coach is a Portuguese guy. So ideally for Cristiano Ronaldo to come back to Manchester United for me is ruled out, as I don't see any possibility.

Manchester City have lost four consecutive matches. We have not seen such a bad performance from Manchester City players in the last 5/7 years. Guardiola will definitely find out the internal mistakes of Manchester City's squad during the international break. And Guardiola is a very experienced coach. It is expected that Manchester City will be able to perform well in the upcoming matches.

Manchester City lost against Tottenham a few days ago. However, the next match is Manchester City's home match. Moreover, Tottenham's performance has been irregular this season as well. If City players can perform well, they will definitely win. I expect Manchester City to win.
Manchester City currently is on their lowest level in last seven years as things are never been like this in past but as we also know we have too many injuries and things are getting the worst day by day for the many teams in big leagues needed schedule of many matches needed to be settled before its creation worst every situation for the clubs which are spending huge funds for having better performance from these big players those are currently out of play for them.

Now we have international break which is good and most chances we will be having some improvement but still it needs some better strategy from all stakeholders for having improvement in these injuries which are costing on and off the field eight days left in start of next round hopefully we will have Manchester City will be back into winning way which is surely important for them if they are looking for another title at the end of this season.

Some are saying maybe the team is cursed after several managers failing at the club while some are saying the problem is from deep within the board but no one knows for sure where the problem lies, we all believe it’s poor coaching but despite bringing in a lot of coaches there seems to be no difference at all. Now they have appointed Amorim who have been doing a good job at Sporting so everyone expects things to be better for Manchester United.

I don’t really know what results he will bring and what his performances would be like but he will be definitely be better than Ten Hag. I am not quite sure if he will succeed but i think he will do better than Ten Hag.
Yes I agree with you, and in addition to what you have said I think all this problems started when Alex Ferguson retired. From then till now Manchester United haven't made any significant progress. And now that they have hired Ruben Amorim, Manchester United have a chance to change their fortunes and get on the winning horse. Ruben Amorim is a good coach and I know definitely he will make significant progress at the club.

We also need to realize that Erik ten Hag was also a great manager when he was at Ajax. Also, in his first season Erik ten Hag handled Manchester United, in fact Erik ten Hag managed to make Manchester United finish in third place in the Premier League standings. Also, Erik ten Hag managed to make Manchester United get the EFL Cup trophy in his first season at that time, although in his second season Manchester United got poor results in the Premier League, but Erik ten Hag still managed to make Manchester United get the FA Cup trophy.

But unfortunately, Erik ten Hag still could not get good results in his third season until finally Erik ten Hag was fired. Currently, Manchester United will be very hopeful about Ruben Amorim but for me personally, I sure at least failure can still happen because there is no guarantee to succeed easily in the Premier League.

Erik Ten Hag had quite good players to have turned things around and ample of time was indeed being given to him while his stay at United, then what stopped him from signing desired players which would helped him out ,, from my perspective, Erik Ten Hag failed in the contract he was signed for and nothing to justify him the fact that he failed his duty as Manchester United head coach.

Yeah Erik Ten Hag should be fired before the start of the season but management gave him a chance until the last chance was given in the last 2 matches and he failed, now Manchester United are starting a new era with new coaches and so far their performance looks better but we have to see them playing more matches at least until the middle of the season. Manchester United collected 15 points from 11 matches and there was still plenty of time to catch up.
I agree that United management was a bit slow in taking action in sacking Erik Ten Hag, oh maybe they were still fooled by the sweet promises of 2 trophies. But look at Ten Hag results before he left, leaving behind many illnesses that Amorim had to treat. Fortunately Ruud van nistelrooy has restored the player's lost confidence a little. Now let Amorim cook
And finally Manchester United has taken a significant step by appointing Erik Ten Hag as the new manager and he must be able to cure the disease left by Erik Ten Hag, and Ruben Amorim is one of the young coaches who is quite prominent in Europe today, considering his success with Sporting CP Ruben Amorim and Manchester United have high hopes for Ruben Amorim to be able to change Manchester United to be better and cure the disease left by Erik Ten Hag. Ruud van Nistelrooy has replaced Erik ten Hag who was fired at the end of last month, he managed to achieve three brilliant wins from four matches and 1 draw. And he closed a short but memorable page at the club that once made his name famous and that was very cool, and hopefully Ruben Amorim does not disappoint Manchester United fans and Ruben Amorim's first match with Manchester United is against Ipswich Town next week and this should be an easy match.
Manchester United had a period of good performance that is now the golden past because the last few seasons Manchester United played under Ten Hag, maybe these times in the history of Manchester United were the worst times for Manchester United. As many seasons as Manchester United have played under Ten Hag, Manchester United's position has remained at the bottom of the points table. Far from doing well in major tournaments, Manchester United have regularly underperformed. But a few days ago Manchester United sacked their club manager and appointed a new manager and since then we have noticed some change in the performance of Manchester United. If this continues then we will see Manchester United perform well again.

If the Man United boss has high hopes that they can at least get back on track for the title race, then he also has to understand that it cannot be achieved instantly. For that reason, it would be better if he gave Amorim enough time to do his job, so that Amorim can carry out his plans with a strong foundation.

It certainly won't be easy because Man United have already lost their winning mentality, but if Man United can find the right coach, I think Man United still have a chance to make a comeback as time goes by.

Ten Hag's first season was great, but later on, since his strategy did not work, he should have used other strategies but he did not. However, since there is a new coach now, he must try differently and form the players' sets well. It is not possible to continue in the way that Ten Hag failed, but the new coach must manage in a new way so that the team can play better games and their performance can return to its previous level.
I doubt that Ten Hag failed to use his right strategy for Manchester United or Manchester United players failed to give their best performance. Just like a coach needs proper guidance to make a team strong, players also need great performance. It is true that the coach has a lot of responsibility over the team and the players also have a lot of responsibility over the team. There are also many teams whose coaches are not very good but their players perform well on the field due to which they are able to win matches against their opponents.

Ten Hag was the long-time coach of Manchester United after which he failed to improve the situation of the team. Now it is to be seen how the new coach of the Red Devils can make them stronger with guidance.

Guardiola better do something because Manchester City poor perfomance is going out of hand, I was surprised when Manchester City was leading Brighton with 1goal and Brighton equalized and pushed in one goal again to defeat them on a 2:1 victory, though I have said this before, personally I love Manchester City because I love good football and a winning team but their performance this season isn't encouraging, though we will always say the league is still fresh no doubt but as it stands now, Liverpool is doing everything possible to get the English premiership title, they have been able to maintain the lead which may also continue after the international break, no doubt we have seen the managerial pattern of guardiola in Manchester city, he has been able to lift all the important title for Manchester City which sounds very impressive, though he got some injured players but thats isnt a good reason for the continues lapses.if what Manchester city is experiencing continues he may resign because I know him to be a smart coach, the last winning of Manchester City was their match with Southampton and that was on the 26th of october, the match ended in a 1:0 goal scored by Haaland after then they have not been able to win any match which is very bad for the defending champions.

Let's see if the calculation will work, going by their lost previous 4 matches they were playing from away so meaning that it's likely possible that they may win this time they are at home but let's see what becomes of them in that match, both teams are not predictable but I believe a winner must emerge in that match, I don't expect a draw in such encounter.
It's a bad moment for Pep and his men because they are not sure of winning their next match. Life is full of shit, imagine now that some clubs have started picking up and improving their performance is when City is declining in performance. How will they be able to cope with the competitions at hand, if they don't come out from their poor performance and become that strong club which we know them to be, it's better Pep acts fast to keep his reputation.

I don't think Julian Alvarez decision to leave Manchester City for Atletico Madrid is a good move because of the fact he had a greater chance of winning trophies at Manchester City than Atletico Madrid and also he would have seen more playing time if he should have been patient. Even if he scoring goals and become an important player for Atletico Madrid, I don't see him achieving anything with them. Every player wants to be a starter so I don’t blame him for leaving City but he should have gone to a club like Real Madrid where he could win trophies.
Its not about greatest chance winning the trophies with Manchester City but Julian Alvarez have motivate for getting more minutes playing with Atletico Madrid. In this season looks difficult for Julian Alvarez winning any trophy with Atletico Madrid because in domestic league La Liga dominance by Barcelona and Real Madrid then AT UEFA Champion League almost impossible to be the winner.

Manchester City have four consecutives losses all competition and nits not bad perform for Pep Guardiola not only loss opportunity at domestic league but also have underperform in Champion League match. Upcoming match will face Tottenham Hotspur have got defeated last several match ago at EFL Cup and The Citizen must secure three points if won't have many points gap from Liverpool keep comfortable on the top standings position.

Even though I am a Cristiano Ronaldo fan, to be honest, I really don't expect C.Ronaldo to return there. I prefer C.Ronaldo who is enjoying the final moments of his football career with Al-nassr in the Saudi Pro League currently. And I think the majority of us would all think pretty much the same thing about this. Because Manchester United currently has to focus more on building a squad for the long term. Even though Cristiano Ronaldo is an irreplaceable legend at Manchester United, that doesn't mean he has to return to playing there until he retires. And it will be easier for Cristiano Ronaldo to score more goals with Al-nassr than at Manchester united. And I think it's just an ordinary rumor that is always present in the news to attract readers. so we don't need to be too serious about this. But talking about Cristiano Ronaldo is always interesting to discuss. but our focus now is how Amorim can make Manchester United recover and finish in a better ranking than last season.
Even if Ronaldo wanted to go back somewhere in Europe, I doubt he would want to go back to Manchester United, even though Amorim is now the head coach. Ronaldo has a very high status in Al-nassr, I don't think he would want to change anything now and it's unlikely that anyone is ready to pay him as much as Al-nassr does. So I'm sure these are just rumors that have no basis, Amorim will try to take several leaders from Sporting with them.
Amorim is indeed ambitious in coaching Man United, he wants to make Man United successful again and to achieve that there is still a lot of homework that Amorim must do at Man United. Especially in team cohesion to become a formidable force, and he will also focus on the front line because seeing several Man United matches they have serious problems in terms of finishing. However, that does not mean that Amorim will return Cronaldo to Man United, this is unclear and unreliable news because it is indeed baseless.

Amorim only said that Cronaldo really likes playing at Man United but he got unpleasant treatment when coached by Erik Ten Hag, it does not mean that Cronaldo will return to Man United. Man United Instead of bringing home C Ronaldo, it is better to look for a young striker who has potential. If Ronaldo wants to leave Al Nassr, let him retire at Sporting. If Ronaldo returns to Man United, return to Man United as a club owner or as a coach.

Man City might get relegated if they lose their court battle over the 115 charged that are levelled against them. Also he wasn’t starting much at Man City. Maybe he felt more comfortable moving to Spain as he’s Argentinian so that’s his native tongue over there in Spain.

Sometimes players move for reasons other than the club. Could be his girlfriend is happy in a warmer climate with a different culture and foods.

Julian Alvarez made a right decision in leaving Manchester City because the presence of Haaland on that club affected him so much because at the very first season he joined Manchester City he was unstoppable so he managed to hinder Julian Alvarez but however if Julian Alvarez was still playing for Manchester City I believe by now he would have been giving more long opportunity on there matches because Haaland is no longer that fierce, so actually i use to imagine how useful he would have been for Manchester City at this time.

However Atletico Madrid had a good signing on Julian Alvarez because he is giving them what they want and he was the one that made there wining against Mallorca possible when the club almost lost hope of winning, I'm very happy with how his career is going on that club.

Yeah I believe Amorim will change Manchester United and brought Manchester United to win treble: Premier League, Europa League and Carabao Cup. Amorim is a Portugal player and he have played with Ronaldo in the pitch for few times, I'm sure Ronaldo will back to Manchester United and destroy all the teams.

Mark my words, Manchester United will be the strongest team after coached by Amorim.

I don't think this is ever going to happen again, the last time was his biggest mistake of his career and he wouldn't want to make that mistake again. Ronaldo needs a club that he can be scoring lots of goals as his main aim right now is to be the first player to get 1000 recorded goals as others that have claimed to do the same doesn't have proof. Ronaldo will rather stay in Saudi Arabia and continue playing with the farmers. Manchester United isn't the best club for Ronaldo as they're currently rebuilding and they don't need a star that can make the dressing room to not be united as when he gets treated badly, he can divide the dressing room.
No, it could happen, but not at the moment.
What @HelenaYu said could happen but Ronaldo returning to Man United would not be as a player (maybe we all know what I mean) and we all know that the problems that happened in the past with MU, were only problems that happened to Ten Hag and Ronaldo.
And believe it or not, I actually still believe that Ronaldo still has a curiosity about Man United and I also think that if Ronaldo retires one day, he could become a coach for MU, doesn't that make more sense?

I don't think Ronaldo will ever return to Manchester United, after the incident he experienced with Ten Hag. Apart from that, currently Ronaldo looks comfortable at Al Nasr, some news media even say that Ronaldo will retire as an Al Nasr player. So with this the possibility of Ronaldo returning to Manchester United is certainly very small. Although currently Ten Hag has left the coaching chair at Manchester United. However, this does not mean that Ronaldo wants to return to Manchester United. Because if I'm not mistaken, when Ronaldo was still at Manchester United, apart from his problems with Ten Hag, Ronaldo also said that the entire team at Manchester United had to be replaced if wanted Manchester United to be successful again. So with this we can conclude that even though Ten Hag has been fired from Manchester United, if the teams at Manchester United have not been replaced, I am sure Ronaldo will definitely not want to return to Manchester United. And as you said, Ronaldo is now old, therefore according to my assumption, it would be better if Ronaldo stayed at Al Nasr until his retirement arrives and does not return to Manchester United. Because it's true, Amorim still has many choices of young players to make Manchester United even greater.

Well, you are being too confident in Amorim. I don't know what kind of talent he has but you are so confident that Amorim will 'lead Manchester United to a treble: Premier League, Europa League and Carabao Cup.' I just pray Manchester United will be stable under Amorim. The job at Manchester United will be tough. Manchester United needed a clear identity and Ruben Amorim was brought in to do just that. If he can help Manchester United, push high in defense, and press aggressively, even if he doesn't get immediate results, Amorim will be praised.

I don't like Ronaldo returning to Manchester United's attack. Assuming Ronaldo returns, he could take up a position on the Manchester United coaching staff, alongside coach Amorim. And also possibly become an investor in the club. So, I'm pretty sure superstar Ronaldo will be welcomed back to Manchester United.
I don't agree with the statement of the person above who said Amorim will win three trophies in one season because I think that is something that is very impossible. Fixing Man United is not easy because Amorim needs to make changes completely and in a short time I think it is not an easy job and can be done by him. It is much better when his arrival can bring Man United back to the Champions League zone and this is much more realistic.

In another face, it may be true that Ronaldo's arrival at Man United is not as a player but as a coaching staff or as someone who is considered to have the opportunity to invest in the club. But I think it takes time and now Ronaldo still has the desire to play at the current club before he decides to retire.

Coach Amorim does not want to transfer 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo to a team full of past successes. Ronaldo will probably end his football career in Saudi Arabia. Because no other team will give him the money they give him. I think it is time for him to retire.

Yes, Ruben Amorim is still a potential young coach. He still doesn't give me a sense of security that he will revive a team that is in serious decline like Man United in a short time.

I won't exaggerate, even if Zinedine Zidane, or even Sir Alex Ferguson, returned, they wouldn't be able to bring to the golden age immediately. If Man United fans are hoping for a complete change from the past, they will have to wait a little longer. And if that happens, it will be for at least another summer.

I also have the same thought. It will take a long time to get Man United back to being good again and maybe it will take at least more than the next 2 seasons. So to see whether the coach who handles Man United is successful or a failure, we can see in the third or fourth season. But the question is, will the fans and the boss be patient? because as has happened before, when Man United experienced a slump amid the long-term plan, then the coach's credibility will be questioned, and he may even be fired.

Did you forget he's a GOAT? he can still able to play for 10 years, look at his physique, he's like 30 years old man.

Ronaldo when he was 37 years, he destroy Tottenham alone, if his career is over, he wouldn't able to score hattrick.

I'm hoping Ronaldo will back to Manchester United, that's should be a place for him to retire, Manchester United was his home, so he need to return for good.

Thus, the "reign" of interim coach Ruud Van Nistelrooy at Man United has ended. In 4 matches under the leadership of Van Nistelrooy, the "Red Devils" were unbeaten, winning 3, scoring 11 goals, and having 2 clean sheets. This is a completely different achievement than Erik Ten Hag.
In the coming time, fans expect Ruben Amorim to bring emotional football and fresh features to Old Trafford. From there opened a promising start at Man United. Amorim inherited a Man United side that is 13th in the Premier League, has lost four of its 11 games, and is struggling in the Europa League. How long it will take for the team to get back to challenging for the title is difficult to say. We must give coach Ruben Amorim plenty of time to build Man United the way he wants. Don't make too many demands. Getting back to the top 4 should be put aside.
Don't expect too much from Ruben Amorim, this is not an easy job for Ruben Amorim because the competition in the Premier League is very fierce and also Manchester United is a team that has been very depressed so it takes time for Ruben Amorim to make the process of building this team.

And the 4 matches that have been played with Ruud Van Nistelrooy have been extraordinary, fans are quite happy with Ruud Van Nistelrooy's performance and hope he stays but Manchester United management has taken another step, so no one knows if the future will be better or worse but what is certain is that I believe that Man United fans miss Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
In my opinion Manchester United fans have to realize that their team is compeletely messed up although under Ruud Van Nistelrooy Manchester United was performing well but i think there is no guarantee this condition will be last long and after Ruben Amorim get in charge i think the fans should be lowering their expectations to this manager because the transition period while changing coach probably will make Manchester United performance will not stable this because every players must be adapt with Ruben Amorim strategy and  besides that as far i know Manchester United owner didn't set high target to Amorim

Yes, Ruben Amorim is still a potential young coach. He still doesn't give me a sense of security that he will revive a team that is in serious decline like Man United in a short time.
