What I don't understand is why Ilkay would leave Manchester City for Arsenal when he's still a key member of the squad and if he wants to change League, he will go to Barcelona. I want him at Arsenal but I am not sure he will join. He has won a vast array of trophies at Manchester City but it remains to be seen where he will be playing next season. Then again, the constant pursuit of Manchester City's players seems somewhat questionable to me. I’d love Arsenal to continue with their recruitment strategy.
It looks like Ilkay go to Barcelona than to Arsenal.
I don't know what he was thinking, but this midfielder has actually done quite well at Manchester City and this season he has participated in defending Manchester City to win several titles.
With his transfer I'm not sure he can develop there like he did with Manchester City.

Or could there be a tempting offer from Barcelona so he chose to go there instead of playing with Manchester City, who are now kings in the Premier League.
I think Gundogan has been offered a contract extension by Manchester City and has garnered significant interest from both Barcelona, Arsenal and PSG. The thing is that I don’t know about Barcelona because they have been in financial turmoil over the last year and in March they were hit with a corruption lawsuit dating back to 2018. And they must meet LaLiga's strict financial rules to be able to register new players which I don’t know if they’re in a position where they can sign him and register him. PSG have some internal issues regarding the players and the management. Among these clubs, Arsenal is the only side in the position to sign him. And if he decides to remain in England, then Arsenal is the possible destination.

ilkay Gundogan is an old player and he is 32 right now that's why there is maybe not be many teams that want to hire this player, Gundogan had a good performance in Manchester City and he is an important player there, but the offers he got from Arsenal and PSG can't change anything for him because he can get all he wants to get in Macnshter City and with a coach like Guardiola he can achieve the title he wants to earn.
Even if he joins other teams and accepts the other offers there is no guarantee to say he can have a good performance in these teams that's why maybe staying in Manchester City could be the best he can do.

İlkay Gündoğan's desire to leave is nothing but that he wants more minutes to play and at Man City the competition is very fierce and it is possible that İlkay Gündoğan will not get full minutes of play, that is very natural for a player.
İlkay Gündoğan's performance is still quite good so it's only natural that many top European teams want him.

but on the other hand I think that İlkay Gündoğan's departure will not have a big effect on the Manchester CIty team, Pep Guardiola's team already has a very strong character, even if several players leave, it will not have a big effect on the team's performance.
Even if Gundogan leaves Man City at least Pep Guardiola will look for other options, it's just that Gundogan contribution to Man City is quite significant and without Gundogan I don't think Man City will have made it this far in improving their performance. To be honest, Gundogan, who was appointed as Captain, explained that his role was vital enough that the decision to extend the contract was the best option. Apart from that, Arsenal and Barcelona, who had been eyeing Gundogan for a long time, had to look for other players.

Chelsea have changed coaches several times but their performances have not improved. Rather, their performance has deteriorated further. Chelsea's performances have been very poor and erratic this season. This clearly shows that the main reason for Chelsea's poor performance is their players. There is probably an internal conflict between the players. This is why they are not playing well. And so changing coaches again and again cannot be a solution. Chelsea needs to change their entire squad. Chelsea's performance is unlikely to improve unless the players change.
I don't think Graham Potter and Lampard are the proper coaches to make Chelsea competitive in the Premier League, but Pochettino will probably be what is needed to do it. At the moment, Chelsea have a lot of quality players who basically just need guidance and a good strategy to get them to give their best performance. So a change of coach is expected to improve the quality and ability of the team, and I don't think they have to change everything.
Chelsea need a good striker, that's true but they have tough midfielders and defenders. Next season will be a different season for them, I'm sure about that. At least I can hope that Chelsea will return to being competitive in the Premier League even if they don't win the title.
Lampard... I think Chelsea should forget about him like a bad dream and never think about him again, because he basically did nothing good for the team, only made it worse in the table. I'm not saying he did it on purpose or anything like that, it's just that after that incident there are doubts about his coaching competence at all
In my opinion, Chelsea has gotten worse since Abrahammovic left, Chelsea is not clear what direction to go in the future, even though 75% of the squad is still filled with old players, new players are also expensive and of medium quality. continuing to get worse is a strategy that doesn't suit the players, but the coaches have changed and the players' mentality has also been automatically affected. let alone the management which is still chaotic, so before everything is neatly arranged, it seems it is still very difficult to get up.
Even Pochettino is not going to change Chelsea for the better if his management is still messed up. What is lacking in the PSG squad, what do they get apart from winning the domestic league. PSG's star-studded squad is not moving in the champions league. That is proof that Pochettino is just an ordinary coach. The Chelsea management should have dared to bring in a classy coach like Zidane instead of wasting money on a Potter class coach and the Chelsea management also seemed stupid for replacing Potter with Lampard. As we know, Lampard was fired because he made Everton fall apart and he was even appointed as Chelsea coach, even though he was also sacked now. I think Chelsea in the Boehly era will return to being Chelsea in the era before Boss Abrahammovic. Only a mid-table team. And we can only watch Chelsea continue to struggle so as not to enter the relegation zone.
I don't think abramovich's departure is directly linked to the deterioration of the team, but yes, it was after that that some problems started. The squad costs a lot of money, large sums of money were spent on some players, and those players made absolutely no sense for the squad. For example - Mudrik, what has he done? One assist? Useless player for 100 million, yeah... I am not even talking about the choice of coaches, but you said about Zidane, will Chelsea have enough strength to negotiate with him? He's probably not interested.

Chelsea management has failed to find the talented players they need for their squad. They spent a lot of money. But the squad did not improve. The performance of the Chelsea team is very poor. Aubameyang had a fantastic performance with Barcelona. But in 15 matches in the Chelsea jersey, he scored only one goal and did not make any assists. He could not adapt to Chelsea's match strategy. Chelsea's new coach must bring in the right players. A good performance cannot be expected if the players do not adapt themselves well to the match strategy.

Manchester City have offered their team captain a contract extension option but the player's decision is unanimous to leave the club, i don't know what was on his mind wanting to leave the club after being part of the success of Manchester City. Leaving Manchester City to join Arsenal makes no sense in my opinion, in general Manchester City is stronger than Arsenal.

According to reports I got from one of the Spanish media, Gundogan has reached an agreement with Barcelona. Both parties have received a verbal agreement to continue contract negotiations to a further stage. I think Gundogan will choose Barcelona over Arsenal, especially since the player is very interested in joining Barcelona.

Even though in the EPL West Ham only managed to finish at the bottom of the standings, in European competition they managed to win the conference league title and this was all thanks to the cold concoction of coach David Moyes. Maybe you are already familiar with the name of this coach because he also coached Everton and Manchester United a few seasons ago, but with West Ham he was able to steal the public's attention again. Next season I think David Moyes has to prove his worth again and with the strategy he should have with West Ham he can reach a better position than he has this season.

Pep Guardiola has shown in the past that he's very good in replacing members of his squad immediately they leave his club and he does it so efficiently that the player's absence wouldn't be felt no matter how important he was to the team's progress. He did it after the departure of Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, and David Silva .
However I think IIkay Gundogan still has a lot in the tank to give out when it comes to delivering top performances for ManCity but time will tell if he'll remain in the club to do more for them or be allowed to leave

Guardiola also has a very good understanding of whom to let go and whom to keep in the team. He has an idea in mind of the type of soccer he wants to play and the type of players he needs both in basic quality, but also in intensity and motivation and persistence. A good example was when he let Sané go to Bayern Munich. Sané was a strong player, but only 30% of the time during a season and we can see that again now at Bayern Munich where Sané sucks really hard most of the time. That is why Guardiola had no issues to let him go. Guardiola needs players who are willing to go the full distance and beyond, who are ready every single game of the season and who are willing to accept pain in exchange for success. Today he has a team that exactly fulfills these requirements. Manchester City can go a very high level for a very long time and just for a weekend.
It is admirable that Guardiola can identify the best players for his side. He has a distinct vision for the type of football he wants to play as well as the precise traits, energy, drive, and perseverance he demands of his players. Sané transfer to Bayern Munich serves as an example of his wise decision making. Sané had flashes of brilliance but over the course of a season it was clear that he lacked consistency and dedication as evidenced by his current play for Bayern Munich. Guardiola places a high value on people who are prepared to give everything both physically and mentally in every game and who are willing to make the sacrifices necessary for victory. He has now put together a team that perfectly fulfils these criteria enabling Manchester City to continuously perform at an extraordinarily high level for a prolonged period regardless of the opponent.

I have heard that if manchester city unwilling to sell him to its competitor. If gundogan will be going to the arsenal and it seems like that rumor was not true. Remember that arsenal became a good team caused by it was getting some players from manchester city in the past. I will support gundogan to go to the barcelona rather than arsenal. Gundogan has not yet decided his future and i think that the rumor about he will be going to the arsenal will not true.
Gundogan may stay or go to the barcelona. I prefer to see him join in barcelona. It will be far better for him.
Gundogan is probably one of the essential midfielder in Etihad Stadium, watching him pairing with Kelvin De Bruyne and Bernando Silva is one of the good trio in midfield combo. The cityzens would want him to extend contract with the club because he's a key player for long-term projects.

Pep Guardiola announces his departure year after winning the treble this season. He's a genius who has elevated City to new heights. Surpassing all other English Premier League clubs and finishing top. He is regarded as the best coach to have coached Manchester City. Since joining the club in 2016, he has transformed things for the city dwellers, exploring their talents and, as of today, they are title contenders.

Manchester City president can consider İlkay Gündoğan's stay in Manchester as Manchester City won this season's Champions League title under his leadership. No player would want to join another club while captaining such a consistent and successful team. As his contract runs until the 30th, he still has several days to consider leaving the club. I doubt he will be a regular at all if he joins Barcelona or Arsenal. As he is a regular player and captain of Manchester City, he must consider his position before leaving the club.
With old players like Gundogan, they will prefer to sign new long contracts like 2 or 3 years than only 1-year contract. They want to have as safest contract for their career than short one. Gundogan won many titles with Manchester City and it can be another factor for him to leave the club and find new challenge somewhere else. Being a treble winner is big achievement for Gundogan career and he has nothing to do with Manchester City. Finding a new club and playing at a new league might be more ambitious plan for Gundogan. La Liga and Barcelona are good destinations for Gundogan, a big league, a big club and a matched style for Gundogan.

Gundogan is actually the player who was recruited for the first time since Pep Guardiola's first arrival to Man city. So it can be said that Gundogan has helped this club a lot since around 2016 and is still very much needed today.
If I am right, Manchester City bought Gundogan when the player had bad time in his career with some injuries in Dortmund. Pep Guardiola must see big potential from Gundogan to buy him because it is risky to buy a midfielder with a bad injury record. His bet on Gundogan brings sweet fruit in this season but maybe they will both leave the club soon.

Latest rumor, İlkay Gündoğan has reach personal agreement with Manchester City extend his contract one year later, I don't think with Pep Guardiola want to sell İlkay Gündoğan regarding his contribution success give treble winner for Manchester City in this season. İlkay Gündoğan is main player for Manchester City in this season and he has quit well performance in midfielder position, not sure Guardiola will sell him to the rival teams Arsenal or Barcelona.

İlkay Gündoğan still on celebrate the champion league achievement right now and seems still waiting for his announcement keep extend with Manchester City or looking for new challenge next season by joining with Arsenal or Barcelona, but if want get tittle next season better stay with Manchester City than move to other teams.

İlkay Gündoğan was great during his time at Manchester City and his performances as captain were outstanding but his contract expired at the end of this season. He decided to change clubs because he would not sign a contract with Man City for one season. In this case, English club Arsenal and Spanish club Barcelona have expressed interest in taking him but I don't think he can go to Barcelona because the position he plays in Barcelona already has several players playing in that position, in which case Arsenal can come late in the transfer market and sign İlkay Gündoğan.

On June 30, Gundogan's contract ends, there are many who want to get him, but the player himself says that he has not yet made a final decision. Here, most likely, it will matter whether he can agree with the club on the conditions, if this cannot be done, then he will look for a new team. City are a great team, I don't know if they can do great things at Barcelona, Arsenal or another team, unless he decide to follow Ronaldo in search of big money, but I doubt it.

Currently there are too many speculations presented by every news media which makes it difficult to find more accurate news. And actually there is also no certainty where Gundogan will go after his contract expires at Man City. And actually Man City itself also still hopes that the Citizens captain will stay at Man City for at least one more season. But at this time there are indeed many big clubs who want Gundogan, who is indeed a free player at the end of June.

Some of the lists of clubs that I read from the news media that are interested in signing Gundogan are Arsenal, PSG, Barcelona and even Borussia Dortmund.

There is even the latest news that there are also clubs from the Arab League who really want Gundogan and are ready to pay handsomely for Gundogan. but the names of the clubs from the Arab league who are interested in the gundogan have not been mentioned. So that in the end it could just be one of a series of speculations circulating in the media.

Gundogan is actually the player who was recruited for the first time since Pep Guardiola's first arrival to Man city. So it can be said that Gundogan has helped this club a lot since around 2016 and is still very much needed today.

The decision still not final yet because basically Gundogan still wait the response of Manchester City and it said he will giving his priority to Manchester City because if this team will giving contract extension which is the proposal will be good for his career then Gundogan most likely will decide to staying but indeed some of people has been speculate Arsenal in the good position to gets him if the negotiation between Gundogan and Manchester City reach to deadlock but so far there was no official news regarding this rumour and Gundogan is good player and he was reach his top career with Manchester City this because he was successfully to bringing Manchester City to gets treble winner this season and Guardiola personally hopes Gundogan will extended his contract and he will be staying much longer with Manchester City

That was the exact question I asked about Gundogan position in Barcelona if he goes there having know that there are many stars in the club and I am not surprised that it is even difficult for De Jong to have a nice playing time in the squad.
But someone said the old guys as Busquet have left Barcelona and there is now space for anyone coming and including Gundogan.  I know Gundogan will be careful at this because he wouldn't want to play from bench.
