Tottenham Hotspur Vs Manchester City is a very unpredictable game,
As Tottenham will like to fight back to get a point after losing their last game to Inpswich Town, Manchester city on one hand are looking forward to Closing the gap against Liverpool after they also lost to their last match to Brighton, so i see the game as an unpredictable one, though I foresee a draw game.

Until now City still has several players who have to be absent due to injury, but I don't see TheCitizen going to fall again when they host Tottenham Hotspur in the 12th week of the Premier League. we know that previously City had experienced 4 matches with defeats across competitions, one of which was defeated by Spurs in the EFL Cup competition. in the 12th week, Pep Guardiola's squad will host Spurs at the Etihad Stadium. although some of their players are still injured such as Rodry, Stones, Doku and Grealish, but actually they still have several other players as replacements. we also know that the performance of Pep Guardiola's team is on a downward trend, but in any case they are a tough team and the coach will try to restore the performance of his team. on the other hand, Spurs are also not in good performance from their 11 matches in the Premier League. they only won 5, drew 1 and lost 5 other matches. in addition, Spurs also experienced 2 defeats in their last match. looking at their away games, Spurs always have difficulty winning their games. Moreover, now their opponent is Manchester City, which is a strong team even though it is in a declining phase. Referring to the opportunity side, City is far more favored than the away team in this match. Theoretically, Pep Guardiola's team should be able to return to winning ways in the match against Tottenham Hotspurs.

Chelsea steps up and reaches the same points as our devastated Arsenal. Man United still doesn't work.

Manchester United doesn’t work? Well “yes” but you can attest to the fact that after the sacking of ten hag. Manchester United side has stepped up their games, even tho they aren’t in the best of form which is needed to see them secure points in their comings games. We can still agree that if they keep the momentum of Ruud who took them through the last four games without defeat. Then there’s still an opportunity for qualify to play in any of the European competition next season.

Hopefully the new manager will meet up the expectations.

Chelsea being on the 3rd, Arsenal being on the 4th and Nottingham Forest being on the 5th is probably the biggest surprise of this season so far. Let's see how it shapes going forward. I really want to see Nottingham Forest be one of the top four teams. Chelsea and Arsenal both are not playing very well, they have only one win each in the last 5 matches. So I think they do have a chance Grin

The most suprise for me there is Chelsea as they didn't look like a team that could be in the top 4 position this season although they shouldn't celebrate yet as they're on th same points with others below them and one game lost alway from falling off the top 10 position as other teams are just one  point below while others are two and three. The table position is going to be different after the international break as players will return back having injuries or feeling tired and they can't perform as they use to do. making other teams to have the opportunity to go up the table.

Chelsea getting to top 4 right now is also a surprise for me because before the beginning of the league the team was not looking like they will have a good season but having seen the turnaround that the team has experience so far and the form of the team you don't expect nothing but good results from them.

The point difference between the teams is no different but coming back from the international break there will be a lot of injuries which may affect the results of some teams but then a team that has good 1st and second 11 players shouldn't be affected and I think the Chelsea team is filled with players even though some of the players are not known.

Facing Tottenham again won't be a problem to Pep Guardiola because he has already played them before and he lost but this time I believe he'll get something out of this encounter when the time comes. Losing 4 in a row is like becoming a big failure to Pep and he's going to re-write his mistake, I have that feeling that after the international break Manchester City won't be as slow as they have been and they will make the EPL a bit difficult for their opponents, their midfield won't be as weak as it were with the return of KDB it will be much better after the break.
I am not entirely sure if that would be the case, not easily at least. We have seen them lose 4 games in a row, I do not think that they had something like that during Peps tenure before, and I am pretty sure that fifth in a row is pretty unlikely so I would say they are the favourites to win this game. However, we also need to remember one of these games was against Tottenham as well, and Tottenham has a lot of players they are missing too, they just recently lost to Galatasaray because they lacked so many players.

So while I do agree that City is the favourites and they have what it takes to win, we are still not entirely sure what's going to happen, anything could happen in this game. If I were to make odds, I would probably put City at 1.70 or so, realistic, shows they are the favourites, but shows that it is not a guaranteed thing neither, it's definitely just a normal situation without much of a heavy domination assumption at all. Pep will care about this game more than anything, losing another would break the team.

Chelsea have had some bad seasons therefore it is not strange to doubt their ability to be in such as good position now. Enzo Maresca didn't also look like a coach who would clean up the mess other coaches left behind. The new coach has helped many players to improve and the playing style of the club is now commendable. Just as you rightly said, the league is still early to conclude that the Blues will qualify for the Champions League this season.
Under Maresca management anything seems possible, looking back at last season and comparing how Chelsea started and how they ended, gives us the best of opinion that them qualifying for the Champions league is extremely possible under close and consistent performance from the players. Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa who looks like a threat to covering the 4th position are depreciating in terms of their performance. If any team should deserve the top 4 then by any possible reference, Chelsea under Maresca should be having a spot there, i believe that is also the target from the management, no longer need to keep playing in the Conference league.

For Manchester United it is difficult to predict how their season will end especially when Van Nistelrooy will not bee in charge anymore, he has brought about change in the performance of thee team but now that he will not be in charge again no one knows how the performance of this new manager will be but i am certain that they can at least challenge for a spot in European competition next season.

Considering the calibre of coach that is coming in to take over the managerial position of Manchester United, one can assume that they will keep having good results. Ruud van Nistelrooy would have been my choice but it seems the club want a world-class coach.

Chelsea have really turn up with good performance which no one expected from them, see them in third places is an incredible thing and with their current performance am expecting to see them step up, currently only Liverpool are having good time and I see them as only challenge for Chelsea, Manchester City have lose their pegs and I don't see them anytime soon to fix their problems if those important players are still injured, also Arsenal are just declining everyday with the looks of things but I don't think they can get back the their best performance like last season. After this international break the league is going to be tough because there similar points and non of them will like to step back, 19 points appeared 4 times, 18 points appeared 3 times, 16,15,10 each appeared twice, almost more than half of the teams in the league are having similar points.

Liverpool is playing really well right now. I honestly did not expect them to perform so well under new management. I was also a little surprised to actually see Manchester City lose two matches back to back. That has created a big difference in points between Manchester City and Liverpool. Liverpool has played so well that they have the most amount of wins, the least amount of losses, and the best goal difference.

New managers possess the same energy, they don't want to lose that's why when they come for every dame, they go hard on it like it's last game. When Arteta came, he almost won the Premier League for Arsenal. I hope this isn't t the same other they are playing right now like Liverpool, you don't know what will comes next. Despite Manchester City saying different things, believe them at your own peril, those guys will do anything to.remove Liverpool from there.

I'm not surprised like seeing Nottingham, it's been ages they touched top 4 on the standing but we are all familiar with this kind of tactics. They might fall down before we even start the second leg. Another team I'm so happy for is Chelsea. They deserved everything recognition they are having right now, it's been 3 year and 3 years they since play in the Champions League but I can see they are starting to show that zeal already of going next season.

will Liverpool make another mistake in the next match?
I think Liverpool will take advantage of this situation to continue to gain points and try to widen the gap with Man City, the opponent they will face after the international break is the promoted club Southampton I don't think Liverpool will make a mistake in this match because Southampton's performance is also very bad playing at home will not have much effect if the opponent is Liverpool. Meanwhile, Man City will face Tottenham if Man City loses again it will make Liverpool 8 points ahead.
With Manchester City currently in poor condition, this is beneficial for Liverpool because they do have the opportunity to get more points and make them far ahead based on their points. With what you said Liverpool will face Southampton of course they have a greater chance of winning, and of course they will make it difficult for Southampton in their match later and make them get points again.
apart from that Manchester City who will compete against Tottenham, maybe they can be made difficult by Tottenham because in their unfavorable condition this makes their performance drop with the four consecutive defeats they experienced this makes them lose points and their top ranking, but even so Guardiola said that he would not back down, he still has confidence to be able to make his team good again.

You are right. Liverpool can use the opportunity that Manchester City is experiencing to secure more points in their matches so they can be able to get so many points that even if Manchester win some goals, they will just be behind them. Liverpool may make it very difficult for Southampton in that match, but we should not conclude about that yet. Let's see what will happen by then, because clubs we think will be easy to win are the ones that make a surprise move against big clubs.

For the past few days I have seen many people talking about Man City performance concerns and also discussing Guardiola future.
Logically, Man City is having a bad time because some important players are injured. On the one hand, the schedule in other competitions has a slight negative impact when the team has to adapt to a new system. But this kind of performance is not the first time Man City has experienced it and has happened in the past few seasons, and in fact Man City is still the best team.

Now, my question this time, do you still not believe that in the upcoming match Man City will have difficulty getting 3 points from Spurs?

Seriously speaking, I don't know what the noise is all about at this moment. Manchester city have lost two matches back to back but they are still ahead of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester united. So why are people complaining yet? Losing is part of sport and it normally happens to every team at one time or another. They have lost four games in all competitions but that doesn't mean the are completely down, they are still in good position and once there players recover from injury they will definitely retain their position.

I know it's annoying seeing them performing like this and their fans could get upset but calling for pep head is too extreme. No matter how great a couch is, losing some players especially the key ones will result in a decline performance. As for their next match, I really expect to see improvement from them following the series of defeat and pep will seek for solution to that awful performance.
Like seriously I don't know what people expect from Pep Guardiola, sometimes I think that the demand on him is too much. When Pep and Manchester city were winning people started complaining that he has turned the premier league into farmers league. Now the opportunity has come for others to prove themselves and win the league yet here they are yelling at the man. Guardiola has said it many times that you don't win the treble every year, so anyone expecting them to keep performing at the top level all games is making a mistake. They are humans and as that the bad results are bound to keep coming their way. I believe Manchester city fans understand this and they ain't complaining much about this, but I wonder why other clubs and their fans are showing too much interest in Manchester city bad performance. They should focus on their clubs and get as many points as they can, because when Manchester city will start winning nobody will be able to stop them.

First game for Amorim will be Ipswich town, which it should be a great and easy game, even though United played "terribly" they are still 13th compared to Ipswich being 17th so it's clear that we are talking about a decent gap there.

We are going to see Amorim see what kind of players he has, we could see some changes, we could see some moves and different results and such, we could see him do many changes to not only substitutions but also about formation changes to try new things as well. Mainly because this is an easy game, so when they have an easy game, they don't really care, and because of this I believe we are going to see them make some good changes on the long run as well.

Amorim doesn't know the team yet, sure he watched them, but he has to put his own system in place and see how the team does, so if they can score early, it will make his job a lot more easier, it would allow him to do whatever he wants without worrying about losing the game.

Every team indeed have their bad times and what Manchester City are experiencing currently is their bad time and even if they don’t have players injured, they may still experience but maybe it wouldn’t be as worst as what we’re seeing now. Manchester City playing against Tottenham Hotspur won’t be a very easy match for them, especially now that most teams now know their weakness and will want to take advantage of that to get all three points.

Tottenham Hotspur have been playing a great game recently and their big win in their last match will be a big motivation for them to do well in this their next match and wouldn’t want to lose to Manchester City. I am not given hope on Manchester City yet, because I still feel they are going to make the best out of this season too despite their current condition which is not encouraging now.

It has been an impressive season for Chelsea so far and every thing they’ve accomplished so far has been as a result of all the hard work they’ve put in, the coach have really been the master mind behind their success, he has brought out the best in most of the players and even if they are not fully stable they can still challenge. Arsenal on the other hand have dropped in performance compared to previous seasons but they are still up to the task to challenge just as every other team.

11 games down and Liverpool under Arne Slot have made the difference. Until 2 weeks ago there was a very different ranking, but in the last two matches there have been interesting results and suddenly there is a points difference. Looking at the games played, it will still be a competitive league. Liverpool would be making a mistake if they feel too comfortable. They can also lose two games in a row and if that happens, the wind will suddenly blow in the opposite direction.
I think Manchester City and Arsenal will recover after the international break. Chelsea will also be in the race this season. The only thing missing is Manchester United. I can't even remember the last time we saw them in the race. Grin

The Citizens lost 4 games in a row and we all know the cause of that. City are having a very bad time in the game with some of their key players out due to injury and instead of having them recover we get to see some going to join the other ones. For Pep Guardiola to say they have lost the race for the title only means two things, 1: it is either the whole injury situation has gone beyond his reach or 2: maybe Pep is playing a mind game on the other competitors.
In the next match, the most challenging is Man City, because they will face Tottenham who last lost to Tottenham. This is not too good for Man City's reputation and also their position in the standings. However, Pep has said that they have evaluated it and will show a very strong Man City again. Will this really happen? I'm pretty sure with current situation and after international break, Man City will come back again, pep Guardiolla will let the club lost 5time consecutively.

I can't agree with you on this. I knew Pep had faced Tottenham many times. He mostly dominated them at home and away. But, this time is kind of different. I meant City is struggling with so many important players were injured. I expect them to struggle in beating Totenham at this time.

That will only happen if they face Totenham's with high defensive line. If they switch to a back 4, they may be fine.

I know Pep has a competence to turn things around, but only if he has some of quality players on his side. I was a City fan, but i think he will struggle if he keeps playing Kovacic and Guendogan as a pivot.

Normally Southampton can't match the strength of Liverpool.  Southampton is at the bottom of the league this season,  they have been able to win only one game against wolves and they played a draw game against Ipswich.  Their is no way Southampton can give Liverpool a tough game because their performance have never been impressive this season, it will be very easy for Liverpool to gain a full point in the match against Liverpool.

Manchester City performance recently is not what we used but still have good chances of defeating Tottenham. Manchester City lose in their last match against Brighton and I don't think this time around they will allow Tottenham to take advantage of them, this game against Tottenham will be a serious game that would not want to take for granted to keep chasing Liverpool.
Liverpool did made a good choice to selects Arne Slot as Jurgen Klopp replacement, this is a run they never regretted and it keeps going through all smooth phases. It's incredible for Arne Slot to be succeeding in his first season as Liverpool manager and you consider that a coincidence? Ofcourse not because he's been straight forward towards his goals, he made his intentions known and the team's management are acquainted with his pattern. Arne Slot is experienced, not in a hurry to exert brilliant tactics, he's not curious with his oppositions, he keeps close range towards them and accomplishing his goals doesn't seem to be hurdle for him. I've watched his impressive stats, they're terrific and precedes him as competent manager.

Southampton doesn't stand a chance to grab a winning when they hosts the Reds at home next week. This is absolutely no difficulty for Liverpool because they've been smashing their oppositions these past weeks. They're bottom of the EPL table this season, Russell Martin job's on the line this season because he's giving absolutely zero improvement and not good for the current poor stats for the club. Perhaps all hopes are not lost, they can still put in more work to escape relegation this season, it's not over until it's over.
