Van Nistelrooy still has 18 months left on his contract, but the club have asked him to leave due to Ruben Amorim's request that he not be part of his coaching staff.

Van Nistelrooy during his time as Man United's interim coach in 4 matches:

Even if Pep Guardiola lose more than half of the matches he will play this season, I don't think Manchester city will ever think of firing him because his achievements so far is bigger than just one season of bad results. Pep Guardiola is the man that made Manchester city what they are today. He transformed the club to what we are seeing today, so there is no amount of bad results that he will have this season that will make his club sack him. Just like every aspect of human lives, things ain't always good all the time, so it is just one of those things in life. We have seen Pep lose matches in the past and he always comes back stronger. Pep Guardiola is definitely going to respond with winning streaks. There are managers that are beyond sacking and Guardiola has earn that badge of a manager that's beyond sacking in my opinion.
There are two different reasons for that. First of all, it's true that he will not be fired because he won so much, and not like they are 14th or something, they are still doing fine at the moment, in theory they can literally do the treble this season, and there is nothing mathematically impossible there. They are still second in the league, only five points behind and they could still win the league. They are going to play FA games which they could still win, and at UCL they are still going to go up the group stages we know that.

So basically what I am saying is that, they could finish the season with zero cups, but they still have a chance at all three, so no reason to fire someone who has seen so much success. Plus, the second reason is, he is leaving at the end of the season anyways.
Even though Man City have had bad results this season, there is no reason to fire a great coach like Pep Guardiola. Moreover, Pep Guardiola's contract will actually end at the end of this season. And the opposite will actually happen, namely the Man City club will try to persuade Pep Guardiola to stay at this club longer and the club will try to convince Pep to extend or renew his contract back at Man City at the end of the season. because Man City definitely realizes that if Pep Guardiola goes to another club then the club that Pep coaches will definitely be a strong club like Man City. And it is possible that Man City will start to decline because it will be very difficult to find a coach who is on par with Pep Guardiola. So yeah, Pep's position is really safe.

Arsenal's performance in the beginning of their game was very good and they played well then. But their performance in the last few matches has been very bad and they are not playing well due to which their position in the points table is deteriorating. However, Chelsea, although they played badly in the beginning, have improved their performance in the last few matches and have started playing well. If Chelsea continues to play with the strong performance that they are currently attacking, they will be at the top of the points table. But if Arsenal continues to perform like this now, then they will definitely go far away from the points table. So it is not right for Arsenal to follow such a performance at the moment, they need to improve their game otherwise the points table will be in a very bad position.

Arsenal have won consistently at the beginning of the season. We have seen Arsenal players perform well in every match. Arsenal were fighting for the top spot in the points table. But at the moment the team is in very bad form. Arsenal have lost points consistently in the last four matches. The team is in fourth place in the points table. And Arsenal is 9 points behind Liverpool.

Chelsea's performance this season is a bit stable compared to the last few seasons. However, it cannot be said that this team is in a strong position. I have not seen Chelsea win against any big team this season. However, Chelsea's overall performance is a bit stronger now.

I was just thinking about what it would take to see Pep Guardiola getting fired! Cheesy I have always thought that it is impossible for him to ever lose his job and I still think it is, but from a hypothetical point of view, I wonder when a club's management would decide to sack him? Cheesy Four losses is of course not enough. He could probably lose 8 consecutive games and still wouldn't get fired. Probably 12... But it is a new situation that Pep Guardiola hasn't been in yet. This could either snowball and Manchester City is far more nervous than usually or they will soon answer with an impressive winning streak.

with the many defeats he has experienced by Manchester City, of course it is normal for someone to think like you, but for me I think it will definitely be difficult for Pep to be fired by Manchester City. As for being fired, it will definitely be in an honorable way, for example because his contract has expired. finished which finally made Manchester City let him go. but it is true, as you said, it will definitely be difficult for Manchester City to fire Pep even with a losing streak, for example, as you said, losing 8 times in a row.

Pep Guardiola has of course coached Manchester City for a long time and of course has brought Manchester City to many titles, so I think with the consecutive defeats that Manchester City is currently experiencing, I don't think Manchester City will be able to fire Pep, especially now that Manchester City is still is in the runner up position in the standings which of course there is still time for Manchester City to be able to compete even better and overtake Liverpool's position.

It is true that this is a new situation for Pep, and of course this is a challenge for Pep, but so far I am still confident in Pep's abilities and he will definitely improve Manchester City's performance soon. Of course, fluctuations in team performance are normal and sometimes strong teams can suffer consecutive defeats, of course this applies to all clubs, including Manchester City. Of course, we are just waiting for time to see Manchester City's next match and see whether Pep can improve Manchester City or not.

Then you didn't properly read what I wrote. I have never said that it is now time or it could get close for Pep Guardiola to be fired and as has been said here already, I agree that it probably won't happen. That is why I brought up this hypothetical question what other people think where a club management would draw the line even for a coach like Pep Guardiola? Would he never get fired?

That is why I put some numbers out there, which won't happen ever anyway. He won't lose 12 games in one losing streak. My take is that he will never lose his job, but I was wondering when club officials would seriously get nervous for the first time. Not a little nervous, but like really nervous.

In the next match, the most challenging is Man City, because they will face Tottenham who last lost to Tottenham. This is not too good for Man City's reputation and also their position in the standings. However, Pep has said that they have evaluated it and will show a very strong Man City again. Will this really happen? I'm pretty sure with current situation and after international break, Man City will come back again, pep Guardiolla will let the club lost 5time consecutively.
Any series ever ends, especially with the squad that Manchester City has. It was just an unfortunate combination of circumstances that led to such a deplorable result. Moreover, the main competitors are also not stable, and to be honest, it's better to stick around a little now, when you can fix it later than at the finish line, and the City has been famous lately for gaining the necessary momentum just to the finish line.

I am a Liverpool fan and when Klopp has decide to withdraw from his position it's break my heart because i love him

Management does not need to fire Pep Guardiola because his contract will expire at the end of the season, if they start to be dissatisfied with his performance due to the negative results achieved by Manchester City, then there will be no negotiation of a contract extension at the end of the season. Although Guardiola position is currently safe, he also has the responsibility to resolve the problems that occurred in the last four matches. Manchester City is threatened with not being able to continue its dominance if it does not immediately improve its quality and it will be an unpleasant farewell if the club and Guardiola decide not to continue their collaboration.
Correct, Manchester City has to worry about Pep, all they need is looking the results in this season, then they will decide to extend Pep's contract or search for new coach. Any coach will want to manage Manchester City because they're the strongest team in Premier League and full of star players.

Pep is just trying something new, look how he not include De Bruyne as a starter, it's make sense a new thing will not always successful.

The moment when Klopp left Liverpool everyone could expect to see a bad performance from Liverpool after this coach leaving the team because of the perfect performance we saw from Klopp for years in Liverpool. Even the other coaches knew accepting the offer to work in Liverpool would be a huge risk but Slot started working there and he had perfect performance in this team.
Even Guardiola in Manchester City with all his reputation couldn't get enough points to get in the first place at the table because of the perfect performance of Slot.
They won the game against Aston Villa recently with a 2-0 result and now Liverpool got 28 points in the 11 games they had.

The Citizens lost 4 games in a row and we all know the cause of that. City are having a very bad time in the game with some of their key players out due to injury and instead of having them recover we get to see some going to join the other ones. For Pep Guardiola to say they have lost the race for the title only means two things, 1: it is either the whole injury situation has gone beyond his reach or 2: maybe Pep is playing a mind game on the other competitors.

I have the same feeling that City's failures are temporary, they are a great team with a very good coach and Guardiola will do everything to correct this in the coming games. We are used to the fact that City have been stable for many seasons, but a few unsuccessful matches can happen to any team, especially when injuries haunt their players. They have to play the next matches with Tottenham and Feyenoord, opponents whom they can beat, and then there is an important match with Liverpool, in case of victory they will be able to reduce the gap, it is not too late to start correcting everything.

Yeah maybe you are right but I'm worried if they keep missing points then Manchester City will be left behind, currently Man City is 5 points behind and we know this is not a safe difference I mean if Man City makes one more mistake then their chances will be lower. For now the main key is in Liverpool If Liverpool are able to maintain consistency, there is no opportunity for any team to pursue, will Liverpool make another mistake in the next match?
We should actually not be deceived because once a good team will not continue to be a good team forever. Some years ago, no one mentions Manchester City because they are not even contenders of the league. Names that people mention are Manchester United, but today Manchester City has dominated the English Premier League. This does not mean that they will continue dominance forever. It will end one day and might likely be this season. Pep had the opportunity to leave at the peak but I guess he over stayed and it might backfire. Let's see how he will survive this...

I am following Arsenal games well in this season more than before. Though I used to but not like this. Don't forget the Guardiola's magic. Guardiola usually starts the season with normal or bad results and he lets the other teams to take more points while time after time he starts having a much better performance and he will take back his place in the first place of the Premier League. That's still too soon to say Guardiola is not a good coach for Manchester City anymore because we have already seen much better results from this coach in the past seasons.
However, I was not expecting to see Guardiola and his players lose the game to Brighton with a 2-1 result, and maybe Manchester City's defenses were worse than normal.

I think this season might be different, because the same pep has never lost 4 games in a row. He is definitely a good coach with no better replacement for the club, but the absence of a key player(Rodri) is an obvious cause to the recent losses. We saw how well he was able to manage the team without KDB last season, but without Rodri is far different. Rodri might return very late next year, before we can expect their usual late season miracle, except he chooses to get a replacement in January.

As for the game against Brighton, I actually expected the Brighton win, seeing the players that where available for them. We all know how good mitoma is, and with the sub in of Pedro, it was a different game entirely. The moment Brighton got an equalizer, I knew a goal will definitely come in. It's just football. We have both rainy and sunny days. If City's loss to Brighton was a shock to you, then what weill you call the loss to Bournemouth?.
Or the 4-1 they lost against Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions league last week I was really shock by the score line.
Manchester will definitely get back to their feet again but it will take them so time to close up the gap between them and Liverpool in the English premier league table, Kelvin De Bruyne is still recovering from injury I don't think he is fit enough despite coming in during Manchester City lost to Brighton in the second half, they also missed Rodri too in their game but if Kelvin De Bruyne could recover fully and get back to his form we will all see Manchester City winning games with a better goal margin but currently now I think they are in their worst season as they have lost 4 matches in a row which has never happened in the history of Manchester City under couch Pep Guardiola.

Pep Guardiola can never be seen as one if the worse coach even if he lost straight 7 games he can't be seen as a bad coach. The Citizens lost 4 games in a row and we all know the cause of that. Right from the beginning Manchester City haven't had a solid defense and if you check the defense line they have the same mentality of going forward and getting goals then tracking back at times becomes the problem and Pep has been using his defense to cause trouble for opposition.
We all know what Pep Guardiola of Manchester City can do with his boys. We also understand that most times in the season he could be bad either at the beginning or the middle of the season, but in the end he will still be champion. Why this happens is not that he is so exceptional, it is because teams like Liverpool and Arsenal have refused to use the opportunities and look holes that Guardiola used to leave. We also how both Liverpool and Arsenal lost in a week last season that they were not supposed to lose, and that handed the season back to Guardiola.

Now I am not so confident that Guardiola will be able to go back to the top of the league, this depends on the performance of Liverpool. If Liverpool does not drop fan their current form it will be difficult for Guardiola to make a comeback. But if Liverpool under Arne Slot becomes sluggish, Manchester City can overtake them towards season ending.

I still believe that Pep Guardiola still has the ability to fix the negative results that have been experienced by the Manchester City team in its last few matches. Because Pep Guardiola is not the type of coach who gives up with bad results, so I still have faith that Pep Guardiola is still able to resolve every problem he is currently facing and will make Manchester City win the upcoming matches this season even though they are slightly behind Liverpool in the current Premier League standings.

Mikel Arteta is not having a proper time in the Emirates Stadium this season, there's actually more to this phase because everything ruined at the moment. Arsenal have completely lost tracks when it comes the English Premier League title race this season. This is no good news for the club currently, especially not now that Mikel Arteta have risen the high hopes of the team's supporters.

Mikel Arteta really needs to improve Arsenal's performance as a matter of urgency because he has spent quite some number of years in the club and couldn't win the league title even when he was presented with the opportunity of winning the title twice and he has also spent some money signing players in the last transfer market so definitely the club and the fans has high expectations from him which if he doesn't make any good impact in any of the major competitions this season he might be making his way to the exit door. Arsenal has been a very consistent big team in the premier league and has stayed for long without a major trophy which is very bad of them considering their impact in English football.
Mikel Arteta previously can bringing Arsenal to joining the race title with Manchester City several times but unfortunately Arsenal was playing not consistent which makes them have to satisfied to finish at the runner up place several times and for this season Arsenal performance is decline compared to last season and i highly doubt Arsenal can able to be a strong contender for Manchester City and Liverpool

Arteta was in charge since 2019 but Arsenal still haven't gets the trophies from major competitions and indeed Arsenal is quite stable under him because Arteta can bringing Arsenal to return to the Champion league but some fans thinking it wasn't enough because they demand more trophies for Arsenal and there was an opinion that if Arsenal failed to gets the trophy this season then Arteta should be withdraw from his position as a manager

This is actually the worst for the city but we know that it won't last for long and we are not the only one facing this and all this started when KDB was injured and even when his back nothing seems to be changing his not yet in form, and as for pep this not only the worst in Manchester City but since he started coaching this should be one of the worst for him. And it looks some how with how current performance, no matter how bad the performance of Manchester city is we are still going to get the best respect compare to other clubs, and we have won our selfs a lot of title so am not even scared if we fail this season or and a lot of people are happy that we are not doing well but soon we are going to be back on our feet, I just hope KDB comes back in form early and we know definitely he will deliver as usual.
