I have no idea when pep's contract to coach Manchester city will expire, but if it's about to, like if this is perhaps his last year or something, it's absolutely obvious why the man seems very frustrated and depressed, for a club that has been winning the premier league title over and over and over again for several seasons, it looks or seems really abnormal for such a team to consecutively lose four match's in a row just as we have seen

But on the other hand, like I did touched on on one of my previous comment on another thread, pep should have known that city can't remain at the top forever, at any time, stuffs like this will happen, he should have known this and prepare for it, for a king does not remain on a throne forever, at an appointed time, he will always give way for another king to occupy the throne.
We understand why Pep Guardiola is frustrated. Manchester City has been very successful under his leadership. But you are right no team can stay number one forever. Pep should have expected this slump. Pressure to keep winning might be affecting him. His contract ending soon could also be on his mind. Still Pep experience will help City recover. Your comparison to kings and thrones makes sense all good things come to end. Maybe this tough time will motivate City to improve.
I think when you think about the successes he has achieved so far, he has gone down in history as a manager who has achieved great success at Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is still remembered as the manager who changed football. Of course, he may have been bad at times. He had his worst performance in the last seven years this year and was champion for six years. I think he has a limit to accept this much mistake. Also, if he leaves Manchester City, I have doubts that there will be a better replacement for him.

The pressure to defend Pep's record after 4 straight PL titles is big. It's worsen with waves of injuries happened to his team. It makes him hard to rotate his squad. This hurts his team's performance. Several losses in a row have proven how struggled his team is now.

You said Pep's experience can help the city to fix things up. But, it won't work if he has no quality players in his squad. He's missing so many players that would normally make up his main starting eleven, such as Dias, Stones, Akanji, Rodri, Grealish, Doku, and many more.  Those guys are important players in his squad.

Brighton vs Manchester City

I think this is match that Manchester City should have won after the 3 defeats they got, I hope Pep can give confidence and also the right direction for his players to be able to provide quality game competitively.
Indeed Manchester City is playing away but this is match that is quite important to be able to keep up with the points gap from Liverpool, I really hope Manchester City can win in today match.
Manchester City certainly wants to rise and get full points in this match but Brighton is also not an easy opponent to face, especially Brighton will play at home which makes them more confident to be able to get points.
If seen overall, Man City does have a slightly larger percentage to be able to win the match but this will be a fierce match for both teams.
Now Manchester City have 4 consecutive defeats and this is really very disappointing, results like this should not happen and after 3 previous defeats they should be able to play better but it all can not improve the mentality and also the quality of the game to be better after losing several players due to injury problems.
Manchester City game in the defensive line is very bad, I see boring game and this is not like in some early season games which showed they were very strong, again and again Manchester City must make me lose bets in the last few weeks.

What exactly these guys doing? they can just clearing the ball instead of pass to each other. Manchester City conceded 2 goals because of their own mistakes, I would say Brighton is just lucky without discrediting their victory.

Liverpool are not expected to be champions on premier league of this session, but after we look how consistant them to compete in all competitions, of course this will be an attention from other potential champions to do not underestimate them.
Many people keep speculating Liverpool will become the champion, but hold on, Manchester United will bring back the glory after sacking Ten Hag. We have Amorim and GOAT Antony, both of them enough to fight against any teams in Premier League.

You get me entirely confused my friend, but first, the Man City you underrated this much is still the second on the EPL table, and it's with some impressive feats and stats to its name. Brighton is another good team, no doubt, but unless we want to deceive ourselves, it is not a match for Man City in all ramifications. But football happens at times, the unexpected may be the call of the day, which is why I am happy to tell you that the match you were still expecting has even been played already (see image below), it was played yesterday and as fate would have it, Brighton won it. Man City had a good performance and initially led with Haaland's first-half goal until a few minutes to the end. It was like magic when Brighton scored twice in 5 minutes. Man City was careless there, I must admit.

Haaland scored an opening goal very early for Manchester City but they let Brighton made a shocked come back within only 5 minutes in late of the match. At 83th minute, after the second goal of Brighton, it's too late and not enough time for Manchester City to find an equalizing goal.

This defeat is a fourth defeat consecutively and Manchester City are in big crisis now. First very bad results in four latest matches and second they are in a severe injury crisis too. With many injured players, Manchester City don't have their best squad or at least enough competitive squad and they will likely get troubles in coming weeks.

This season looks to be very good for Liverpool when both Manchester City and Arsenal are in crisis and in a first season without Klopp, Liverpool surprisingly and luckily have a good opportunity to win Premier League title.

It is actually quite difficult for their fans to accept in a difficult situation like this, but that's what happened 4 games without a win is the difficulty they feel, Pep seems unable to process it better, and the next match they will face Tonttenham which in terms of Tottenham's game is very good in my opinion they will lose again for the second time this season against Tonttenham, but what happened to Man City at this time is beyond reason whether Pep is trapped in their game or their players are not good, they always rely on ball possession and when the opposing team holds it immediately becomes a dangerous attack and I think Pep in particular must make a new strategy to make this good again, or they will lose the trophy or not get a trophy this season, because Liverpool are very good at this time and they are quite comfortable at the top of the standings.

Only Liverpool managed to win as expected tonight. They deserve as a club that's on the right path in the premier league today. They are consistent and able to play impressively according to Slot's instructions. They were able to increase the distance between the city of Manchester. When we look at player statistics, several players like Mohammed Salah show up if he is the Liverpool legend, he arranged the counterattack before Darwin Nunez created the 1st goal, Salah was also able to double the score after utilizing the counterattack again when Diego Carlos' made a mistake.

Liverpool are not expected to be champions on premier league of this session, but after we look how consistant them to compete in all competitions, of course this will be an attention from other potential champions to do not underestimate them.

In this weekend's match I want to use another option and the reason is because I am a little disappointed with some of the top teams who are experiencing inconsistent performance and only Liverpool has high consistency.
My hope today is just to see Man City not lose again and must be able to take advantage of the opportunity to face a team that should not be too strong.

Man City football team will play against Brighton football team. That will be very interesting match because both teams will try to win this match and both teams are fully prepared for that. Manchester City recent performance is very bad because they lose last three matches and their confidence is very low .  But we can't say Brighton team as a good and favorite team because Brighton football team also lose last two matches out of three and one was draw . And if we will see head to head performance then we will say Manchester City as a favorite team because that team has good record against Brighton team  and won 4 matches out of 5 matches and one was draw and Brighton team could not win any match against Manchester City.

Manchester City are going through a tough time, and it’s looks strange to us because we haven’t seen City this vulnerable before. On the bright side, now we will know who the real Manchester City fans are. Those strays that abandoned their original clubs to support Manchester City because of their dominance are the ones complaining about the recent defeats and will soon creep back to their roots.
A few days ago I saw a picture of defeat with a picture of Pep Guardiola with 3 defeats, and now it has increased to 4 defeats. Is it possible that it will continue to at least 5 defeats? Next match, they will face Tottenham, is it possible that they can come back and win? Or will they experience another failure like when they played Tottenham in the EFL Cup last month?

Yes, Pep Guardiola must be very frustrated with this situation. Even from his interviews, he seems frustrated and quite desperate?

Source: Pep Guardiola after losing four matches in a row

But, it's not too early to give up, right? Because after all, Man City is a strong team, there are many strong talents in the squad. Moreover, this is Pep's last time coaching the club, he must put in more efforts and make the team much more solid.

In this match in London I think Chelsea can come out as the winner because as you said that the strength of Arteta's team has weakened two games without a win and without scoring a goal it will be difficult to beat Chelsea, both will definitely play with their aggressive style of play but if you look at Chelsea is more aggressive than Arsenal at the moment, and they have young players who have good skills and have many players who can be played Chelsea itself has not been defeated playing at home for the last 5 matches, this will also spur them to be ambitious in keeping their home without a defeat.
And that is indeed my hope to see The Gunners suffer a crushing defeat. Chelsea dominance is getting stronger, more solid and clearly every line is filled with players who are ambitious to maintain their position. The competition among Chelsea players is tighter than any other club considering the large number of squads that demand each player to always perform optimally.

Manchester City defeat to Brighton should be a big motivation for Nottingham Forest to achieve a more ideal position. It is very rare for a club like Nottingham Forest to lag behind Manchester City in the standings. Today match will not be easy because they will face Newcastle even though on paper the performance of Eddie Howe troops has experienced a lot of decline compared to last season.

Pep Guardiola is a master tactician, I wouldn’t be surprised that he’s able to flip the switch in December and get back to winning like nothing ever happened. As for these fake City fans, they should return to their original clubs and stop disturbing the peace. It’s a shame that a Manchester United fan would abandon his club to join a rival club. Even though things have been seriously bad at United, he should have been patient or at least choose to support a team in another league until his original clubs picks form.

If there is any manager in world football that can resurrect a down Manchester City at the moment it is certainly Pep Guardiola, he to me is the best in football right now and all this set back are usually common in football except that people wants to throw shades because we all know how exceptional the Manchester City team have been all this years and should they face difficult times now then it is justified for me because they earn it to even do a season now Trophy less and it still doesn’t change a thing. All this banter though on Pep are actually needed because he himself except since the Bayern Munich days hasn’t face this type of difficult moment again so it is ok for them to troll him and the players a little bit this are all part of what makes this game such beautiful

Unlike the view by some people that Manchester City is going to return back to winning ways and maybe win the league this season, I'm of the opinion that this season will not be business as usual for Pep Guardiola's men because their main contender for the league title this season isn't Arsenal who are known for their inability to fight to finish but Liverpool who I believe will fight for the league to the final match day in other to make sure they claim it. Manchester City I believe will come back to their winning ways again but will they be able to overtake Liverpool? That'll be extremely difficult for them if you ask me.

This is one of the hardest times Manchester City may have to face this season, we are hopeful they will get back i still believe guardiola one of the finest couches in England will get his shit back together. Most fans who supported city because of their team was temporarily doing bad will be disappointed this period, I have a friend who did same he's a Manchester United fan and of a truth he's back to supporting the Red devils again (lol).

I don't think Pep Guardiola can't make a change from what I'm seeing, 4 loss in a row and you think he can make some magic happen? I don't think so, this season came with so many surprises and the way smaller teams are acting as the bigger club is so alarming, the bigger boys need to be careful. I still can't believe Nottingham Forest is still at the top 4 of the table. These are the things we should be looking at before thinking that Pep is can make a very quick change, right now City are not in their best so that should be Pep's problem.

Indeed it was really disappointing seeing Manchester City losing today's game to Brighton with 2goals to 1goal, despite been opportuned to have scored it's first goal  at 23 minute by Erling Haaland, of which many persons including mayself, and others thought Manchester City will win this game, despite the fact they heard the most ball possession and shotts on target, since Manchester City have really not been in good foam lately. But only to be surprised that Pedro and Matt from Brighton were able to score and  ab equalize  Manchester City at almost die minutes.
What an unfortunate fate for Pep Guardiola... to lose and it's happening again after losing in the Champions League... they really dropped in form while the possession was never lost but they are still weak in defense.
Liverpool are getting stronger and harder to beat... If City continue to decline in performance it could be that they will be left behind many points.

Another disappointing end to a game once more in which they were on the lead but later lost it to their opponent. Manchester city now are currently in their worse form ever for quite some period of time, I mean it's been really long we witness Manchester city to actually lose 4 games on a row, i mean back to back this is really disappointing and it just shows how important the likes of rodri is to this club.
Seeing Manchester City fans asking for Pep Guardiola to be sacked is just ridiculous. It’s okay to criticize a manager but saying that a manager should be sacked after losing just 4 matches while the team is still second place on the league table is not acceptable. Well, I guess this is the standard Manchester City have set for themselves for a while now but the fans should not be quick to forget that it was Pep who made City what it is today. City should trust Pep to fix the problems in the squad. You can bet on Manchester City to bounce back after the international break.

I think the Manchester City fans are used to winning so it's a normal thing for them to demand that their manager be sacked because I mean 4 matches is enough damage to the team and the moral of the players are becoming too low because they have not lost like this for a very long time.

This is the right time that Pep Guardiola needs to figure out a way to fix the situation in his team very fast because form the way City fans are asking for his replacement shows that they have no confidence in him anymore and I think it's too bad to see this because Pep Guardiola has so much to the Manchester City team over the last 4 seasons.

Particularly impatient fans can demand anything, but Pep has already proved with all his previous experience at Manchester City that he can turn the screws of the command mechanism when it fails. Rodri is quite an important element for the design and this was once again proved by handing the Golden Ball to a player and the loss of such a player could not pass without a trace for the results, but it is too early to sprinkle ashes on your head. By the way, let these impatient fans not worry too much, because it is likely that Guardiola himself will leave the position of head coach at the end of the season and I will not be surprised how these same fans will regret and remember the Guardiola era, as Manchester United fans now remember the Ferguson era.
