Haaland was able to break the deadlock on the 23rd minutes of the game with a very fast reaction after the Brighton goalkeeper, Bart Verbruggen tried preventing the ball from entering into the goal post. Haaland rush fast to the ball and played it the second time inside the back of the net before Brighton defender put his right foot to stop the ball.

Manchester city missed quite some good chance but they dominated the game away from home and they are also on the lead. Brighton couldn't create much opportunities because City defense is stronger than their attackers, but Danny Welbeck almost find the back of the net.

Haaland long legs is really beneficial to him, else the defender would've gotten to it first and cleared it, but his reflexes are classical and he got to the ball first and swiped it in. He could've made it two safe from the bar and slight deflection from the keeper. Welbeck's penalty was denied by Var and I think it's home advantage that got played out. The game is interesting and the pressure is real. I'm really enjoying the power tussle between the two teams.

They shall accept the reality if they're now a relegation team. If they keep playing with the same pattern, they seem to be relegated to the Championship next season.

I am very happy for ESR because his move away from Arsenal has really been career boosting. The trust that the fulham coach has put on him and the number of minutes he has had all through this season has really influenced his performance making him one of the most likely candidates to score in almost every fulham game. Nketiah and Nelson have not yet started experiencing such success. Crystal Palace are in a very bad shape. We are looking now to how Brighton will handle and deal with the pressure that Manchester City will bring because this is a game that they will not like to lose. With many injured players from defensive to midfield areas, and the bad transfer decision to let Julian Alvarez moved to Atletico Madrid in the summer, Manchester City now have big problems in both defense, midfield and attacking areas. In this season, they let their opponents doing many dangerous counter attacks and it appeared even with Rodri, not only after this player injured and missed rest of this season.

My favorite team to win between Brighton and Manchester City obviously would be Manchester City but due to their recent predicament. Which Pep Guardiola has not been able to address. He is still trying to figure out how to use the current players to fit into the game. If you watch the last match against Sporting CP, Foden was doing all the work. Nobody to feed Erling Haaland the ball to score, due to the absence of Rodri and some unique players. This has affected the team so badly.

With the names of the Brighton players you mentioned. I see it as a win for Brighton. And let us still say that apart from the low performance of Manchester City now, Brighton has always been a team that can withstand big teams, as well as the advantage they have in playing at Home in today's game. Hopefully if Brighton fail to win today then it might be a draw game in the end.

Yeah, that's it, you nailed the point. Manchester City struggled in games due to missing key players, but it's only that. Their high-line strategy also led to bad results. If they could stick to the back 4 and leave their highline strategy, i think they might be fine. The problem is that they still so stubborn to use the highline strategy which was not fit to their gameplay. I'm feeling fine if they are going back to their old strategy.

It's not only me who have been critizing their highline strategy, but i have heard many of city fans were also concerning the same thing as me. The good thing is we will have De Bruyne back.. Hee can help us stop struggling to beat any team and a small change in our strategy will help us a lot.

Also, the comeback of De Bruyne has been confirmed by EPL's injury table above.
