Chelsea will most likely not qualify for European cups this season. They are not good in the standings and the race continues in the Premier league. Newcastle is ahead of Chelsea as the surprise team of this year. If Chelsea wins the UCL trophy by a miracle, they can only participate in that year.

Chelsea is currently ranked 10th, they need at least 9 points to be in the top 5 at the end of the season. Obviously this is a difficult task for them considering their current game cannot be said to be stable.
