I never expected the result that Manchester City and Arsenal got in their match today. Manchester City lost their first match of the season to a club that I never expected them to lose to. I was really disappointed at Manchester City today, and as we all can see, Manchester City's performances haven’t been so good this season, they have been struggling to win most of their matches since the beginning of the season, but they lost to Bournemouth, which is surprising to me.
 
Arsenal also lost their match today. I never saw the loss coming, but I knew the match wouldn’t be easy for Arsenal because Newcastle are dangerous clubs that are full of surprises, and they surprised Arsenal today. But with the way Arsenal played against Liverpool in their last match, I didn’t believe they would lose today’s match.

Liverpool have been able to take over the first position from Manchester City again. Seriously,  this season is going to be interesting because I am already losing confidence in Manchester City to win the league, both Manchester City and Arsenal performances dropped this season.

This has been a surprising and unexpected week for the two top Premier League teams. Arsenal and Manchester City lost important points in today's match and the worst thing between the two is that Manchester City has allowed Liverpool to claim top position again with a gap of 2 points. Arsenal were no less bad, of course this was their second defeat in the last 3 matches in the Premier League. Arsenal must face the fact that they will lose their place in the top 4 if Aston Villa and Chelsea win their respective matches.

Manchester City basically dominated their away game against Bournemouth, but they really struggled to score goals. That was an early sign that Manchester City would drop points in that match, it proved to be true as the match ended 2-1 in favor of the home team.

Liverpool is looking like the more serious team of the top 3. They have been consistent enough and even when they do not play exceptionally well, they still manage to get wins. Manchester City have been struggling lately, but they have been winning, but today was not that day. Bournemouth were just too brilliant. They did everything well. If they had taken their chances they would have even scored more than 2 goals. Usually, when teams take the lead against Manchester City going into the second half, they defend, but Bournemouth didn't do that, instead, they took the game to City and got a second goal and were looking for a third to seal the game. Good game form Bournemouth, they really deserve that win.

Injuries are going to be a problem for Manchester City this season. Without Rodri, they don't look calm and calculated like they used to. Maybe they will find a way to get better but before they do it might be too late because Liverpool don't look like they'll take a break anytime soon.

As for Arsenal, I don't think they're in the race anymore. Their performance just keeps getting worst. They miss Odegaard and they don't have enough creativity in the midfield to real teams. Saka is the only real threat up front and he can be boxed out. Martinelli and Trossard are just not good enough.

You are too quick to make your conclusions to say that Liverpool is better than Manchester City, only because City lost today. No club on earth will keep on winning throughout the season with a defeat or draw,because humans have flaws. Liverpool was the first to lose and also draw their last match, so I see no reason for you to say that Liverpool is better than City when we all know that City is a team that you don't underestimate despite they lost today.

It seems like a lot of predictions went wrong this week, Manchester City and Arsenal surprisingly suffered defeats. West Ham who last week managed to beat Manchester United, this week lost badly to Nottingham Forest. Another match between Liverpool versus Brighton also almost ended in a draw, but in the end M Salah managed to turn things around and ensure his team secured 3 points today.
So far, I did not expect Nottingham Forest to climb to third place in the standings, and of course the top four positions will change again if Aston Villa and Chelsea manage to win tomorrow. If this scenario really happens, then Arsenal will be thrown out of the Champions League zone, when faced with important moments, Arteta squad often loses points.

It is indeed difficult for us to believe that Man City, who played half a full match with a pretty good game, can be defeated by Bournemouth quite impressively, the score 2-1 will Man City make this victory look more real and full of struggle for them to grow much better.
John Stones has always been a savior for Man City but in this match it was not like that.

I want to say that it looks like Liverpool will rise compared to Arsenal because Arsenal we know that they always miss the opportunity to get a victory because of their poor consistency when they are close to getting the champions league trophy.

Two remarkable things happened today and it is worthy we take not of them. First is that Manchester City lost  their first EPL match this season to Bournemouth in a dramatic way and against popular belief. Liverpool are the beneficiary of such loss as the gap between them and Manchester is now 2 points whereas they would have been at the same point if they had won the match. The second remarkable thing that happened today is that Southampton had their first win this EPL season in the match against Everton. I don't know if this will be a turning point for them or it was just a mere coincidence. I actually saw it coming because they played so well in their last match with Manchester City

A great weekend to top the standings after a very impressive comeback.
Manchester City should have won easily against Bournemouth, but Manchester City only managed to score 1 goal towards the end of the match.
Of course it wasn't because Haaland didn't win the Ballon d'Or that his game in this match was below the other Manchester City players.

Liverpool won 2-1 and Manchester City lost 1-2.
Just a different situation.

It is indeed quite surprising what happened this week. The 3 big teams really got fierce resistance from their opponents, and in the end, only Liverpool was able to get the win, while Arsenal and Man City did not get any points at all.

I thought Man City would be able to bounce back in the second half. They can indeed improve their intensity, but unfortunately, all those opportunities failed to be converted into goals, and they even could just make their first shot on target in the 80th minute. I think Liverpool is more effective than Man City because even though they couldn't win ball possession but their shots on goal improved a lot in the second half, and two of those can be converted into goals.

Nottingham Forest, which was struggling at the bottom of the table last season, is now surprisingly in third place.

The win against Manchester City has been coming for a long time, they have been struggling in my opinion in some recent games they have played. They almost lost to Arsenal, Wolves, but were saved by John Stones's late goals, No John Stones for City due to injury, No late goals for Manchester City today, and another poor game from Haaland. Arsenal will bounce back, they need key players to return and this run of injuries to stop. Liverpool are winning right now, but I do not think that they will be able keep it up for very long, they played very poorly in the first half against Brighton. They will loose many games this season and give room back to City to catch up.

The 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth was Manchester City first defeat in the EPL this season and Manchester City second consecutive defeat in just 4 days, previously City also lost to Tottenham and were eliminated from the Carabao Cup. Bournemouth have performed very well in the last three games, previously they also managed to beat Arsenal and hold Aston Villa to a draw, the additional three points at home made Bournemouth managed to achieve 3 consecutive wins at home. Liverpool got a big advantage after City defeat, they managed to comeback against Brighton and reclaim the top position in the standings.

Liverpool  managed to  prove  their  champion  mentality in this match. Having been behind for the better part of the first half, a comeback  goal was made by them  thereby winning the match and overtaking Manchester City at the top of the standings. This win was very crucial for Liverpool, especially because their closest competitors, Arsenal and Manchester City, were facing defeats on that same day.

City was unable to make the most of their overall control of the game, so they had to say goodbye to the summit spot in favor of Liverpool. Nottingham Forest then further underlined their surprise package tag this season as one of the unlikely teams with a 3-0 victory over West Ham to take them up to third in the table.

 what happened at the top since City did not use their dominance to see off the threat of Liverpool. As such, Nottingham Forest could come in later by being among these surprise packages this term. Therefore, the final outcome for Liverpool having to maintain their top spot will definitely spur their quest for the title in the season.

This is a very important and joyous moment for Bournemouth after beating Manchester City today in the premier league. This also happens to be their first win against the team in the history of the league. You won’t imagine Manchester City will lose to a small team like Bournemouth in the premier league. To Bournemouth, they’ve defeated the biggest team in the premier league title race and also the team that have not lost any match since tge beginning of the league. It is an historical day for Bournemouth today and this will be written in their book of records for the team. They know they didn’t get this win easily but it’s a well deserved one for them as they put in their best to score and also defended the goals even as they got lots of pressure to have draw or lose the game. Great win to them and hard luck to Manchester City today.


Liverpool played a beautiful game today. They were one goal down in the end of the first half but quickly did a come back in the second half and won the match in the end. They have now taken over the first position after the big defeat faced by Arsenal and Manchester City today. Let’s see how long they can hold on to that position because it looks they’re already in it for the title race and won’t want to fail to fall from the first place again.

Today was a great day for Liverpool. Their competitors in the title race Arsenal and Manchester City both lost. Even though Liverpool finished the first half behind against Brighton, they won the game with the goals they scored in the second half. They have become the new leader in the Premier League. Nottingham Forest's fairytale continues. They managed to rise to the 3rd place in the league by beating West Ham 3-0.

We must admit that the beginning of the season for Arsenal is not the best and for 3 games Arsenal can not win, and for a team that is a contender for the championship in the EPL it is a lot and Arteta understands this and is not looking for blame in the form of referees or failure, but honestly admitted that the players did not fulfill the task of the coach and recognized that the opponent was worthy of victory, so Arteta sees the weaknesses of the team. Arsenal are still lucky that City have a huge number of injuries and today they also lost, so for now Arsenal's main competitor is Liverpool, which without Klopp shows excellent results. Apparently, Klopp's departure was good for both him and Liverpool.

Manchester City failed to win away to Bournemouth.Bournemouth led 1-0 at half time and managed to increase the difference to 2 within 20 minutes in the second half. In the 82nd minute Gvardiol scored his team's first goal but unfortunately it wasn't enough to get points from here.City suffered their first defeat in the league with this defeat.
Liverpool, on the other hand, made use of the week in which Manchester City was also defeated by turning the match in the match in which they fell behind.Liverpool managed to take the lead with this win.Brighton, who managed to take the lead with the goal of our national player Ferdi Kadıoğlu, could not protect the score.They were defeated with 2 goals 2 minutes apart in the second half.

For this very season, Liverpool may be the 2024/2025 PL champions if they should continue having a good performance like the ones we have seen them have. At least let not Manchester City lift the PL for this season, let Liverpool stop them. It will be better and more acceptable by everyone, that Liverpool not Manchester City lifts the PL trophy

Liverpool would have lost their match if they were playing at away. Manchester City and Arsenal has been facing injury crisis for long time now. Liverpool has to utilize this opportunity to gather as many points as they can. Bournemouth and Newcastle were outstanding today and I will say they both deserved their winning today. Manchester City lacked that creativity in their team and it was very obvious to see. I didn't know Doku was fit to play. I was wondering why pep Guardiola brought him so late in the match. The few minutes he played, he was far better than Nunez. I'm impressed with Liverpool they did well today.
