Liverpool is also having a good performance this season and the league is still open for them to win it they keep getting better in their performance and also hope that Manchester City drop points in the league cause that is the easiest way to win the league ahead of them.

I doubt Liverpool would see much advantage of they get to play against Chelsea. Perhaps they change their current formation, but I think the familiarity with Arsenal is too much in that they almost play same pattern of football both with the pressing and defense.

Of course, I was expecting Liverpool to equalize the goal and Sallah was able to do that with a clinical finish on the 81st minutes. The game is getting more fierce as both teams are putting up their best and struggling to score just one goal to make the difference. Arsenal have just scored but the referee have canceled the goal due to the way the goal was scored. Looking at the match, it seems that it might end in a draw only if one of the teams score on the last minute of stoppage time. Seven minutes added as extra time. It is still 2-2.

Arsenal has a great chance now, if they can manage to beat Liverpool, not only they would drop the points difference to three points to City which would be lovely for them, but they would also go up one spot in the league above Villa as well. Liverpool gap would be just one point and I think that would be easily covered as well. The top places are quite close to each other, Arsenal just got unlucky a few times and lost their top place fighting changes but they have a chance to close that gap now, so they can do this.

I believe the best case for them is to win, but if they somehow lose, then it is not going to be ok and they are going to end up with trouble after such a big points gap this early on. They need a win here, Arteta is aware of this.

We are not really seeing the expected performance from Liverpool. Arsenal played well in the first half and managed to take a 2-1 lead. Arsenal are cautiously performing in the second half after taking a 2-1 lead. Arsenal kept their defense tight in the second half. So Liverpool are not able to attack very strongly and score goals. I think Liverpool will lose today's match 2-1.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool's performances have been erratic. And Manchester City's performance is now very consistent. Manchester City have now managed to occupy the top spot in the points table. It looks like Manchester City will hold the top spot in the table for a long time.

Manchester City is still the favourite to lead the league. Arsenal is playing on their home ground and they are not far from Liverpool in numbers. If Arsenal wins it, they'll replace Liverpool for the 2nd position and have equal number to the table leader Manchester City. Liverpool are too fighting well and it's too early to decide a winner. Last season too it was Manchester City the winner, Arsenal 2nd and Liverpool third. This season too these three seem to be heading to occupy the top 3 positions and probably in the same order.

I don't know why var took so long to review that Arsenal second goal. The goal was very clear that it wasn't offside, yet there was a lengthy review that followed up the Merino goal. I must give the credit to the Arsenal side they have preformed so we'll and so far they have been able to shut out Salah ans and Diaz from making any real attack.from the play so far, Liverpool are not really impressive with their performance. They are losing the ball easily and they haven't really troubled the Arsenal defence. Another thing is that Slot has to change Robertson from this match, Robertson is not playing anything there, Saka is making a fool out of Robertson. He should be removed alongside Nunez.
