I never understood Erik Ten Hag methodology in Manchester United, his post-match interview often leaves me wondering why he’s still employed every time, he always seemed to have something or someone to blame for losing. Sacking Erik Ten Hag is something I have wanted Manchester United to do for the longest time and  should they decide to bring in another coach like Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP, he could bring out the best in the players because I know Manchester United has the quality but lack the right management.
Erik Ten Hag was sacked and there is an official statement of Manchester United, that was released 1 hour ago. Club statement on Ten Hag. Meanwhile, after this sack, Ruud van Nistelrooy will be the interim head coach for Manchester United, like Michael Carrick some seasons ago.

Ruud is a legendary player of Manchester United but as a head coach, he has very clean record but it's interesting to see his performance with the club, even just as a temporary solution. Some young coaches succeed as head coaches like Zidane, Inzaghi, Xavi and Xabi, I hope that Ruud will be a next one.

Rumors say that United would probably try to sign Ruben Amorim after the end of the season. I'm not sure about this. There aren't many good managers, that would be capable enough to bring back United to the top of the Premier League. Amorim has no experience in the English Premier League. Many United footballers will have to be sold and sacked. Manchester United would probably have a totally reformed squad in 2025. This season's main goal would most likely be escaping relegation. Paying a huge compensation to Ten Hag would also be a problem, but I'm sure that the INEOS guys will figure it out.

As far as he has value, has the desire to change and have the ability to change the situation of Sata for the better, I think that without experience in the Premier League it is not a problem, whoever is, if I am part of them then permitted any coach with His experience without competing in the English Uatama League will be allowed, because for every coach that exists today must have read how the teams match in every league, especially the large leagues that are the center of modern football learning.

The most important thing is that they can continue to communicate in the English League.

Ten Hag is taking his last breath at Manchester United, and I think they will soon get him fired from this team. I even saw news about Manchester United trying to find a new coach, and they are working with Ten Hag to pass the time while they are trying to hire another coach. Now, after losing this match to West Ham, I think there's no hope for Manchester United anymore to keep working with Ten Hag for a longer time.

In fact, I don't understand at all why the club still keeps Ten Hag until now. In the European league, Man United has not won at all. And just keep getting draws. whether played against a strong team or against a team that is considered weaker. and now this team has got a worse result, namely losing to West Ham. It would be very understandable if the club started looking for a replacement for Ten Hag.

In the first half I was a little optimistic about Man United's performance but in the second half I started to feel that this team would indeed lose. And it happened.

Manchester United fans have been anticipating this news for a long time. Without action, the team may face relegation as they currently sit 14th in the league table. I didn't even expect Manchester United to perform weak this season, is only Chelsea people are talking about that they won't do well because they usually buy key players and still don't achieve anything, but now with how Chelsea are performing this season, they can achieve title, they are more better than Manchester United this time, let see how they will do now because I am impressed with the decision they take against Erik Ten Hag. Manchester United performance against West ham was very poor look how players are missing chances in the pitch, but I think the players what they should even sack the coach that is why they are losing chances against West ham let see since the coach as be sack. let see there next match against Chelsea in the premier league.

Manchester United Coach Ten Hag has been sacked. I saw the news in BBC news this afternoon. And now that the coach has been sacked I think the team will do well? Ten Hag has been over due to be removed as the coach of the team. And I don't know the new coach yet and we all pray that the new coach should do well to secure the team to the final game.

This should be a good news for many fans of the club because I have been hearing them saying the coach has to be sacked so that the team can do well and finally their wishes has come to pass.

meanwhile, I had a little argument with 2 loyal fans of the united team and they weren't pushing blames on the coach, instead they were arguing about the lack of COORDINATION in the team... They were really jeem about players being indecisive in pressure/rush hours... They further explained that those missed opportunities were enough to win against wastham, even with a decent goal point.
I also keep hearing today from a loyal fan of Manchester United if it wasn't Ten Hag's fault. Their finishing still shite for 2 seasons. So, their coach hasn't fixed it. The worst thing is that their players couldn't even shoot into an empty goal net. This proves they aren't getting the right coaching.

The calmness and clinical play in the final third come from coaching. And it's their coach's responsibility.
I don't think the problem lies with the players alone, you also have to question the tactical plans of the manager, Erik Ten Hag. Manchester United need a good coach who can start competing for major trophies like the Premier League and Champions league. Manchester united is a great club and under the right manger, they will be able to get back to glory days. Manchester United need to be very careful of who they choose to be their next head coach.

The entire Manchester united team needs a total overhaul, I've always emphasized that, it is not good to manage a bad situation, I find it hard to include Manchester united in any of my bookings because they can be so unfortunately even to the least Club you can think of,
United have satisfactory driven towards being a mediocre Club.

I agree with you on that first half, Manchester united where looking as if they where going to make a certain different, but just kept on playing without creating more chances to score more goal, much can be argued that West Ham where at home and where seemingly more defensive and attacking minded but not to a club like Manchester United that has all the trappings to withstand and even defeat a club like west Ham.

Confirm!!! Erik ten Hag have been relieved from his role as Manchester United manager. "We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future." was the statement from the club few minutes ago. Ruud Van Nisterooy will take over as the interim manager whilst the club searches for a permanent replacement for their
former Dutch manager.

This is a good move for me even if it's not going to be the best as Manchester United isn't going to do any better just immediately after but there's going to be some changes which will be impactful to the team, they now have a chance to rebuild with little or almost no resentments between coach and players because there were some reports about such which affected the coaches relationship with the players and later affected their performance to an extent, meanwhile some players left the team even much earlier few seasons back, the management board was really patient enough with him and so it's a fair decision.

I think Arteta began to play in the style of Mourinho, when he coached Chelsea, because the last few games Arsenal plays extremely accurate, in a fairly closed soccer, which previously was not characteristic of Arsenal, who attacked a lot. scored a lot and conceded a lot, but the games involving Arsenal were always interesting.
Liverpool just fulfilled their task and got 1 point, which after the departure of Klopp is not bad, because many thought that without a strong strengthening of the squad Liverpool will be difficult, but so far the team is coping.

Yes the current coach of Liverpool does not have much different from Klopp because the way he is leading the team that is also the same way Klopp did but however there was a very serious match yesterday with Arsenal and the first goal against Liverpool would have been prevented by Andy Robertson but he was busy attacking Bukayo Saka from the side instead of giving him a full charge, though that pattern Arsenal use to score the goal was not a familiar method they are use to because as they were conducting the passes among themselves Liverpool was thinking that they will continue that way but little did they no that Bukayo Saka was there targets to give the ball to score so immediately the chance came out the next thing Liverpool saw was a goal against them.

Who else have seen this breaking news on Manchester United's official blog website: 'Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United men’s first-team manager.'

I just came over this news this afternoon that Erik Ten Hag who was appointed in April of 2022 by the Manchester United management as the club's first team manager have been sacked from his 2 year long position. In their article they said;

"We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future.
Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the team as interim head coach, supported by the current coaching team, whilst a permanent head coach is recruited."

I know this have already generated mixed reactions over the internet with different comments flooding the official page of the Red Devils across all platforms especially on X. What's your own opinion on this big news?

Right because you’re the one to make that decision. I have made my peace with the fact that Erik Ten Hag is here to stay and there is nothing United fans and critics can do about it. ETH has Manchester United bosses believing in a vision that we can’t see in real time. Everyone wants Erik Ten Hag gone except Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS. I don’t think Erik Ten Hag would have lasted this long in Chelsea or Liverpool. He would have been sacked in his second season but luckily for him, Manchester United are following the plan.

This is interesting. I only Watched the match as a passerby in a viewing centre in my street. And I left there as 2-1 and I am seen the 2-2 from this your comment. And it is nice to see Liverpool had 2-2 draw with Arsenal. Though they  (Liverpool) didn't tried because it was an opportunity for them to win the game.
And from the stat of the game Liverpool had 55 possession while Arsenal had 45.
The match between Arsenal vs Liverpool went quite well where both teams played quite well in this match even for Arsenal they were able to take the lead first and lead the match but in the 80th minute everything changed because the score became 2-2 through a goal scored by Salah. Both teams shared 1 point in this match because Liverpool was able to prevent Arsenal from getting 3 points in this match after Salah managed to equalize and ended in a draw.

For Arsenal, where in the last two matches they lost 5 points because they were defeated by Bounemouth and held to a draw by Liverpool. Thus Arsenal has not managed to take advantage of the opportunity to lead the standings after two matches ended with satisfactory results, for Liverpool, they dropped to 2nd place because Manchester City managed to get 3 points in this week's match. I think if Manchester City has controlled the standings it will be difficult for Liverpool or Arsenal to win it back.

I think the most improved this season is Chelsea, we all saw how they struggled last season and how they changed alot of coaches during this short period of time but with Enzo Maresca coming in from the beginning of season I must say Chelsea have improved badly. During the preseason Chelsea struggled with Maresca style of play and we all thought they are going to have another bad season but with the result so far Chelsea are really doing good.

The way the play now is just different, they play with purpose, they are now ambitious and they now look like a unit who really want to archive something. All round the field players have improved, even Jackson who was criticized last season by alot of people is now proving them wrong. Chelsea have the youngest squad in the league and they don't even look like it no more. The only issue now is they need to start winning big matches. They gave Manchester united this coming weekend let see if it will be the beginning of that for them.

The winner of the 2024 Ballon d'Or will be announced today. Lots of names from the Premier League were listed as nominees like Erling Haaland, Declan, Rice, Ruben Dias, Martin Odeegard, Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Foden, William Saliba. I’m confident the award is coming to the Premier League and there’s no player in the EPL that’s more deserving of the award than Rodri. Who do you think will win?

Knowing that Haaland scored at the 5' , I'm sure a lot of you, including myself, bet on over 3 total goals in that match. I can't believe the match between Man City and Southampton ended at just 1-0. lol

Anyway, the record for the most draws in a single matchday in the EPL is 7. So far, there have been 3 draws in today matchday 9, and it almost became 4 draw if B. Mbeumo of Brentford F.C. hadn't scored in the 90+6' minute. There are still 4 remaining games, and if they all end in draws, it would tie the record for the most draws in a matchday. But I think it's unlikely to happen. lol

You're right, I thought there would be a lot of goals in the game after Haaland's goal five minutes into the game, but we were disappointed when Manchester City failed to score any more goals. With 43% ball possession, 5 shots, and two were on goal, Southampton players were confident against Manchester City. The reason for betting on the goal came from my belief that Manchester United, the Premier League worst team so far, was able to defeat Southampton this season since Manchester City is the top team and will probably score more goals than Manchester United.

Furthermore, Arsenal's match against Liverpool ended in a draw, making it a total of four draws on matchday 9.  Many people expected Arsenal to suffer their second defeat of the season, but the match ended in a draw; despite having plenty of injured players, Arsenal was able to hold Liverpool's players and share the points. While Manchester City moves to the top of the table with a point above Liverpool.

Now, after losing this match to West Ham, I think there's no hope for Manchester United anymore to keep working with Ten Hag for a longer time.
I think this time we can't blame Ten Hag when I look how the player performance. On the 1st half, MU attacker get many opportunities on front of goal, but there is not one conversion to the goal, it's also the same on 2nd half. MU seems plays as not top club. they are like a small team which get promotion on premier league. The players seem like the first time dribbling and shoot a ball, there aren't technical skills and expertise to assist the ball. MU face many home work to development their team. there are so many things that need to be fixed, Bruno often complains and talks a lot, rushford wrong position, and Rasmus Højlund are do nothing. Yeah, I just hope MU not degraded to championship for this session.

Ten Hag should not be blamed continuously but the problem is that a player's performance depends on the tactics and strategies given by the coach to his players. So if some of the attacking line players are not working optimally, that is also one of the coach's mistakes and also as a player should have the initiative on how to perform optimally.
I agree with you that Man United actually needs a major overhaul of the coach and players. So MU management must get a coach who is able to manage players properly.
Ten Hag is the manager and the players were following his instruction and his strategy so when Manchester United lost then it is normal if the fans and people blamed Ten Hag and after the loses from West Ham i have seen he was into the headlines of some of online media and those media mostly reported Ten Hag should be out from Manchester United

Judging from Manchester United performance in all competitions indeed the management should be do the major change this because their performance for each matches is getting worse and most of the fans want the changes and maybe it is the right time for the management of Manchester United to starting to thinking Ten Hag position and sacked him

It's been long time about a months since that news start spreading around and I think that this was just agenda pushing by some group of people just because they are frustrated at him. No way Manchester United is going to say they are going to replaced him with Xavi, he is having an quality time there and wouldn't just jump back to Manchester United but I'm very certain That Erik Ten Hag is going to be sack by either end of the first leg or at the of the season, no doubt about that.

If they are going to bring a new coach, it will definitely be from outside Premier League, Laliga, Bundesliga. It is going to be the way they brought him from lord knows where and he had an amazing first season only to start playing low quality matches as if he wasn't the one that was getting all the credits all those times. At stage, the performance of Manchester united has gone from bad to worst, number 14th spot isn't place I think even Nottingham will dream of right now.
This defeat will only bring closer what should have been done a long time ago, Manchester United are getting worse and worse, and I think we will soon hear about a change of coach in the team. Xavi's wife posted a photo on social media in which she and her son are dressed in Manchester United shirts, perhaps this is a hint that Xavi could become the next coach. Although at the moment this is just speculation and there is no official confirmation of this.
