Recent fixtures were tough for Newcastle. Let me remind you that that they are an average team who usually find it hard to even make it into top 10. They could have won against Leeds though but Arsenal was a difficult one from the start. I think Newcastle can still find their 3 rd position back but that all depends on if United will drop points now or not. United under ten Haag have been solid so far but they tend to make some mistakes in certain games and Magpies will be looking for it.

What a draw at the FA Cup too. That exactly Man City and Chelsea have been drawn against each other. You can draw all teams from all types of divisions and then you get this match. The FA Cup is a prestigious prize in England. Man City are now 1-0 up, but we are only halfway through the first half. It is curious that a return has to be played if the match ends in a draw. In England they already have a busy schedule, of course these kinds of regulations do not help at all. You would be better off just doing an extension and adding up on penalties like in any tournament.

Obviously it will not be easy for Liverpool to occupy the top 4 positions in the standings. Besides they need to improve their overall game, also the competitors who are now in the top 4 are now playing well, so it will be difficult to wait for them to drop points. Manchester City, Newcastle, Manchester united, Tottenham are names that are difficult to beat by other Premier League teams. Yeah it's been a tough season for Liverpool and actually I am bit amazed and glad also that Liverpool owners aren't putting pressure on Klopp. They believe in him still and want him to continue which is very rare in football right now. Losing Van Dijk must be hard for them but I think they still an put a decent defense line to face decent opponents in the premier league.They need their scoring form back again and a good mid. Liverpool has an inconsistent form. Even though they had two wins after the world cup ended, but their game wasn't really that good. Even in their last game, they lost against Brentford. The top 4 isn't an impossible target for them, but it's also not a target they can achieve easily because Liverpool's competitors are good teams that I think have better performance than Liverpool at the moment. Liverpool actually has very good players (even they have spent a lot of money to sign Darwin Nunez) but somehow their appearance is far from being in good form.

Every season in the EPL one of the teams becomes the underdog and plays outstandingly well. The season that team is Brentford in my opinion. Currently, they are the ninth in the league with 26 points and they have won six games. In the last game, they defeated Liverpool which was really unexpected for both teams.

As you said they are defending quite well and their counter-attacks seem really deadly at times. We can see that this is proving to be positive for them because they are winning games with this strategy. I hope that they will be able to make the top six in the later parts of the season.

Liverpool has been very unstable this season, it's no more making sense that they could barely win 3 consecutive matches in a role. The system is no more well coordinated Like it was in last season. Klopp is yet to figure out the actual problem, but the problem isn't far from him if u ask me. Apart from Chamberlain and Carvalho, Jones, Melo and Keita are second-option midfielders, but the four are the only young midfielder in Liverpool, the rest are 31 and above. To me, Liverpool needs young creative midfielders, if Klopp can fix that, I think Liverpool will be better again.

Brentford just being a giant killer this season.

Holding draw chelsea and tottenham , beat manchester city and liverpool but they lost to west ham at the fa cup and losing in a big score against newcastle , they are indeed the giant killer but nothing more to considered , the midtable just getting heated now.

Being able to beat these two teams is really very surprising and should be a warning for other teams who will face them. In the following week's match, Brentford will face Bournemount, who is the team with the most minus goals along with Nottingham Forest, will Brentford be able to score many goals in that match?, considering that their opponent is weak in defense.

But in week 20 the most anticipated match will be the Manchester derby, Manchester United vs Manchester City I will watch this match because I think it will be very tight.
Their last meeting was the most embarrassing moment for United because conceding 6 goals was one of their bad history.
If want to bet on City on the Money Line will get odds around @1.8 which can change because the match will still be next week and over or BTTS is a better option in my opinion.
