Haaland has proven his worth ever since he came into Man City and I have to admit his presence has added a bit of spice to the way the squad plays. But to be honest, I will not call him a monster since just any player can do what he does. Take Almiron for instance. Saw the game against Leicester and I had to conclude the guy would be a threat if pitted against Pep's men.
Also, they won't be five points behind the Gunner's if he and the others had done their homework, so to me I see him as a guy who is at the right place at the right time.
The appearance of Haaland is helpful for Manchester City to covert ball possession and good passes to goals. He has a powerful body and can overwhelm opponent defenders too easily. In the past, Manchester City often had troubles when playing with clubs that choose to play defensive aggressively. They did not do anything to break opponent's defense systems but now with Haaland, they can in most of such matches.
Having a good player doesn't mean you can be a champion. To become a champion, you have to play the team game well, just a few talented football players are not enough for this job.
Manchester City have both of these things: good players, good coach and good team-working. They won many Premier League with stability in their club that is different than other clubs. Chelsea have too volatile in their ownership, coach position, tactics. Manchester City only have one owner, only one coach (Pep Guardiola) and one tactic from Pep in many years.
We know Haaland is one of the best players in the world, but I think he is still young and there will be times when we will play better.
Even now, he manages to break many records despite this young age
Look at
Haaland, he is young, only 22 years old but he has scored 181 goals, nearly 200 goals. Will Haaland scores enough 1000 goals before his retirement?
Mbappe is 24 years old but has only 222 goals, not too much more than Haaland.
