As usual, the Premier League has Boxing Day matches during the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The match that will be the opening match is the match between Brentford v Tottenham. I think this will be an exciting match too, because this season Brentford can often put up great resistance when playing against the top ranked teams or when playing against the top five ranked teams.
In fact, in the previous match or match before yesterday's break, in fact, Brentford could beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. I think these results are quite surprising too, because Manchester City are currently competing in the title race, so Manchester City should be able to take advantage of this match to win.
But Brentford this season cannot be underestimated at all, and Tottenham will still be required to be able to make great efforts to be able to get full points because Tottenham will also play away.
Even though, in head to head at least Tottenham proved to be dominating to be able to beat Brentford, it seems that at this moment these results still cannot be used as a guarantee for an easy win.
Anyway, this Boxing day match looks like it will be a very tiring match, because they will continue to play after the world cup.
Unlike other leagues that will continue the league next year, but for Ligue 1 and also La Liga it seems they also have matches to be played at the end of the year.
It would be fair to say that Brentford have caused quite a few upsets so far this season, including an upset against Manchester City at home if I am not mistaken. But Tottenham are also playing really well so far as they are fourth in the table compared to Brentford being placed tenth.
I am pretty sure that the Harry Kane and Son duo will be ready for the match against Brentford as they have been playing exceptionally well under Antonio Conte.
But I have to give credit to Brentford as they have been playing at an outstanding level as a team and their team chemistry is spot on. Overall I am looking for a really high-voltage match on the Boxing day.
