Everything is going well for Arsenal for now. Whether they become the champions or finish the season at the second position, the expectation level by their supporters will increase highly. People will expect Arsenal to be consistent in every season from now on. Because Arteta has built a really solid team finally and they are benefiting from this a lot this season. There is a huge difference with this one and the previous one. I know that we are still nearly in the middle of the season.

But Arsenal couldn't perform this much consistent in these times of the previous season. After new additions to the team they have become a much more reliable team. Although Jesus hasn't been scoring in the league for around one and a half months this still doesn't affect their productivity badly. This is a great example of how you can play strongly as a team.

But I little doubt with Haaland performance after World Cup over keep consistent or not based on his national team not participant on World Cup, actually one month later without any competition yet Haaland need take care with his performance.
I'm actually see he is benefited because his country's national team  not playing in the World Cup, at least he can rest a bit from the tight competition and be fresher when the league returns to competition and also away from the injuries he might experience if he plays in the WC considering he will be a targeted player for guarded not to score a goal.
It's true that Erling Haaland will have a long and comfortable resting place while enjoying the World Cup, so I don't think this will reduce Haaland's performance because he doesn't participate in this competition, he will definitely stay fit and maintain stable stamina to return to the Premier League even after the world cup is over the second week the league starts, of course this will be very hard for other players because they are chasing targets that must be played non-stop.
I never had any doubts for Haaland because he will be consistently scoring goals again in the Premier League with Manchester City.
Erling Haaland will undoubtedly stay in shape and have stable stamina to return to the Premier League even after the World Cup is over and the league begins. Of course, this will be very difficult for other players because they are chasing targets that must be played, but I don't think this will affect Haaland's performance because he doesn't participate in this competition. Haaland will once again be a reliable goal scorer for Manchester City in the Premier League, therefore I never had any reservations about him. Erling Haaland has tallied 23 goals in Premier League and Champions League. For a player who has just joined his new team, this is a somewhat transient accomplishment. He quickly adjusted to Manchester City and put the team on the offensive with the goals he assisted in scoring. It's essentially the same as the present break, but I have no doubt that he will exhibit the same qualities as when he initially entered Ettihad Stadium. He still has time to stay in shape, and once the World Cup is done, his drive will undoubtedly rise.

After so many years this is the team and the coach I believe in would make us see Gunners winning trophy. I think they are doing great. They have beaten almost everybody except for United who did played well and had a good plan in that fixture. I think we are gonna do well and will be consistent but it's the big games like game against City about which I am worried about. Of course if City drop more points then not an issue but likely is that they won't then it's gonna create lot of pressure for Gunners before facing City.

Yeah Arsenal biggest challenge will be Man City. And they will prove their credibility as title contenders against City. But I think that shouldn't be there main priority but trying to rank up many points against lower oppositions and forget about just city game. I still believe they could beat City after watching city game against Liverpool

They are not the only challenge all challenge in the premier league are up to the task even the least club expected will be the one to win Arsenal next season. Arteta has upped the performance no mich arguments to a higher rank in the premier league. But they need to do more than they have done in the first round of the season. Winning will make the club a big name again after so many year's. They need something more than consistency, they need new players to support the squad.

I don't think Liverpool can be used as a benchmark or comparison, because even Liverpool so far this season have been bad playing against mediocre teams, but great playing against top teams and it's a different situation with Arsenal. Therefore, I don't think Liverpool can be used as a comparison, and instead of Liverpool being used as a comparison, why not compare it with Newcastle?
Because Newcastle and Arsenal have been very impressive so far this season and also, Newcastle managed to hold Manchester City to a draw even with a big score like 3-3.

Maybe I think the two teams are currently performing at their best, so it seems quite appropriate to compare Arsenal to Newcastle at this moment.
With this comparison, I am also quite sure that Arsenal can still provide a difficult match for Manchester City, but to win the title this season I am still not completely sure about Arsenal.

I would comfortably bet on Arsenal though against City. I do realize that City is better than Arsenal but there is a good chance that Arsenal could be pulling an upset against City and at this rate, they can pretty much win most of their games against all the other teams. If Manchester United cant win the EPL then Im going for Arsenal to win it this season

Manchetser City need not worry about Haaland. He will take care of himself to keep fit. He would have preferred to play the World Cup, but what is not possible is not possible. And it's a very explosive player, maybe it's good that he gets some rest and then go full again in the new year. After all, City wants to become champions of England and also win the Champions League. Championship in England could be difficult as Arsenal are playing very well at the moment and individually also fine. Liverpool is the big disappointment of the first half of the season. Cause?
You are right that Erling Haaland will be able to maintain his performance in the midst of this competition break. His motivation was enormous when he came to the Premier League, as evidenced by how quickly he adapted to the rhythm of play that is characteristic of the Premier League. With his enthusiasm as a young player, he should be able to maintain a consistent level of game himself. Moreover, he has had a long rest from the players who competed in the World Cup.
All players would want him to appear in the World Cup, but not all countries can do it.

Arsenal have indeed shown great form to date and now they are five points ahead of Manchester City. But I doubt their consistency until the end of the season. In my opinion, so far they have not been fully tested, the victory over Chelsea is not a benchmark because the Blues' condition is also declining. I will wait for Arsenal to face Manchester City, this match will prove Arsenal's true strength.

On the other hand, I'm quite sure of Arsenal's consistency, seen from the cohesiveness of the players in building chemistry on the field, there is no need to doubt Arsenal's midfield movements in building attacks.
If look back at the full schedule of Premier League matches, Arsenal will meet Man City in Week 33 or towards the end of the season. Man City needs to maintain its current form and maintain a point difference so that it is not far behind Arsenal

It is doubtful Arsenal can win the game if the opponent is like Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United or something else. The reason is, the team I mentioned above is a team that is actually strong mentally and physically to compete with each other to score goals to win.

I can expect Arsenal to lose matches against top teams like the ones I mentioned above but it might be difficult to expect Arsenal to lose to any other team besides the above teams. So far Arsenal have been good, but they are not a team that will always be good when the opponent is performing well throughout the match.

But Guardiola will not need to worry that his main striker may get injured, or return tired from the World Cup. A month without playing in official matches may affect the players, but all teams will be in such conditions, and it is not yet clear what is better for a player to train with the team, or play many important matches.

On the contrary, i think Guardiola is very excited to have Haaland watching the worldcup events from home. i am certain that Haaland would have been given guides and directions that will help him remain fit and keep shape the entire duration, so he can come back firing when the league resumes. Also, other teams will have such advantages as their players who missed the worldcup have enough resting time before the league competition resumes

Nothing will happen to Haaland after the World Cup is over, he and Norway did not participate in that event. I agree with what @indah rezqi said. On the other hand, managers are very worried if a world cup event takes place, because it has been proven from time to time that the world cup event always makes the players very tired to the point that the club has to give them an allotment of holidays before rejoining the club.

BTW, I really regret Haaland not being able to participate in the world cup, even though he is in his best form, and of course the world cup will be even more interesting if he is around.

I understand what you're saying, I also watch Arsenal every season they have a bad habit mid-season between the start of the season or the last season this habit still happened last season when Arsenal was perched in the relegation zone. We will wait this season whether Arsenal will repeat the same mistake.
Arsenal has improved tremendously this season. I don't think what happened to them last season, will repeat itself this season. Arsenal is in for lifting the EPL trophy. Their win against Chelsea has made me know that Arsenal is no longer like an elephant sitting on a tree that will soon fall, they are standing strong with no hope of falling on top of the tree.

It is difficult to decide now to see who has the upper hand between Arsenal and Manchester City. Because this season the two have never met in a match. even though it should have been last October Arsenal could compete with Manchester city. but the match was postponed indefinitely. And if you look at the next match schedule between Arsenal vs Manchester city, it will be on Matchday 33 and it's almost the end of the season. so I think on Matchday 33 there will already be a lot of changes in the standings. we don't even know who will be at the top of the standings at that time. this is what makes it difficult to see which one is directly superior between the two teams. except if the postponed match can be carried out immediately when the World Cup is over.

Based on the form he has had, Haaland looks like he will be fine when the Premier League returns after the World Cup. Haaland will probably have a fair amount of practice during the World Cup as he is not participating in that competition. So I also don't think he will lose his form when the Premier League starts again.

Had Haaland chosen England as his nationality then perhaps he would have been more likely to have played in several World Cups during his football career than Norway. But I respect his decision to choose Norway and play for them.

True, the Gunners have been on a good performance since this season, unlike other seasons where they start very slow then once they get to the middle of the season they try to improve so they could get the lift to the top 4 or probably book a ticket to the Champions League but so far it's been an amazing season for them with Arteta getting a better result weekly and his players been motivated to win matches and put up good performances in the field of play it's indeed a good season for them.

Arsenal can't be compared to Chelsea this season because in all competitions they are in a better position and their win against Chelsea only prove that they are better than Chelsea who is struggling with Potter so far. It's going to be cool if they end up winning the EPL or a double trophy with the Europa League that will be nice I think.

Arsenal needs consistent performance if they want to compete with Man City. achievements so far are pretty good. it depends on how they keep their game because at the moment Tottenham and Newcastle are strong enough to participate in the competition for the Premier League trophy.
the more teams that compete, the better. however, watching a strong team dominate to win a trophy will always be boring. especially if the difference in points is a lot different. as happened in a league dominated by rich clubs.
Mikel Arteta really took good time to top the league table since other teams are regaining their form for this season. Arsenal are gapping Manchester city with few points and gunners looking very much alive to beat more teams inother to maintain their position on the table. Newcastle are on winning streak and I'm fully confident that they will sealed their champions league spot this season. There are more actions to witness after the world cup break.
In first half we have the biggest upset as Arsenal ends with top position and having clearly five points gape from second spotted Manchester City which mean now they have to done something extraordinary if they want to bring them down which is not easy job because currently they are playing impressive game and Mikel Arteta is surely having the best strategy after end of last disappointed year with most chances they are going to have few big changes in coming transfer window hopefully they will improve their performance and chances for staying at the top is also good for all.

Even Manchester City is still hot favorite for the title but right now they are surely feeling pressure and after end of the break they have to wait for having this top rank with current form it's never been easy job.

Absolutely outstanding performance from Arsenal in this season. Arsenal is trying to achieve big and they are improving continuously which is good signal for them. At this stage, Arsenal is a balanced team and they have ability to beat any team. They have some young players who can change the game result any time.

One month of rest won't be enough to change a players performance and besides nothing stops Haaland from training at Etihad Stadium while he waits for the world cup to end. He will be more fit with stronger stamina and renewed energy because there will be no room for injuries and fatigue as he will only rely on solo exercise and trainings.

As for Haalands scoring consistency i will say ManCity is becoming so unpredictable i don't know what will become of Haaland's consistency in scoring more goals for ManCity but one thing is sure he will be more contributive when the season returns from the world cup.
Erling Haaland has scored 23 goals, 18 in the Premier League with 13 appearances and 5 in the Champions League with 4 appearances. This is a relatively short-lived achievement for a player who has just joined his new club. Not only short, but amazing. It didn't take long for him to adapt to Manchester City and immediately step on the gas with the goals he created.
It's more or less the same as the current break, but I'm sure he will again show the same things he did when he first set foot at the Ettihad Stadium. He is still young to keep himself fit and his motivation will definitely increase after the World Cup is over.
