The problem isn't from the manager, but the players. Chelsea doesn't have many good players, only few of them are good, but the rest should be replaced especially the center forward e.g. Aubameyang, he can't carry his club.
It is undeniable that one of the problems that has caused the Chelsea team's performance to decline this season is rooted in the recent transfer market, Chelsea did not get many of the players it needed. And the reason Chelsea didn't get good players was because in the player transfer market yesterday Chelsea always didn't dare to raise the bid price. even though Chelsea at that time was still very good financially. until finally the players targeted by Chelsea, were successfully obtained by other teams who were more daring to offer higher bids such as Barcelona. Even though at that time Barcelona was in the midst of a financial crisis.

and I hope that in the next transfer market, Chelsea can offer more high offers to the players that are needed by Chelsea. because it is true that Chelsea's current condition really needs additional, better players.

Arsenal is out of the League Cup, so they can't win that anymore. In the Europa League they are on first place in their group and in February they will continue with the knockout games. Manchester City must play in the League Cup on 20.12. against Liverpool and they are also still in the Champions League, they must play in February against RB Leipzig. So City has one more competition to play but currently I also believe City catch-up more points in the next 16 Games in the Premier League. Important Matchday: 26.04.23 City vs. Arsenal
Over the years, this Manchester city team under pep gaudiola care has show they can't be written off and they have shown lot of consistency for us to believe that they can still catch up arsenal, they have been playing majority of their games without a recognised striker, playing a midfielder as false nine and yet they will still win the championship but now they got erling haaland,a world class finisher, that can give you up to 26 goals a season, so with this statistics I think arsenal can't beat city.

There is no guarantee that any player that did not go to the World Cup will do better than others that went to World Cup when the league resumes.
Infact any player that did not go to World Cup risks the possibility of not being match fit, that is a very fearful thing to think about Halaand. I have seen one local club called Ashton that jokingly offering to loan Haaland for 28 days in order to keep him fit before season restarts. I think Manchester City win not give a listening ear to the proposal because it could lead to unnecessary injuries

There are no guarantees, but the chances that the break will be more beneficial for the players than the intense World Cup games are much higher. Clubs have programs to prepare and intensify the readiness of the players so that they don't get "lazy" during the break. But the ways to have a good rest (for those who will be very busy with the games at the World Cup) other than skipping games have not yet been invented. The accumulated fatigue will be felt by the end of the season and those who now rest will be in a better position in my opinion.

I bolo Newcastle or Tottenham also have a chance to win the title, if they can perform well and continue to perform well consistently. But it is very difficult. Because every team in Premier League is strong. It is very difficult to win every match consistently.
Newcastle and Tottenham are more realistic if they aim at top four in this season. Clubs under top four at the moment like Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are very ready to jump into top four if either Newcastle or Tottenham lose too many points.

Just to narrow thing's down, it all goes to Liverpool, Chelsea and also the staggering performance of Tottenham Hotspur who has been my favorites initially but everything seem to have been zig zags for them so far.
Liverpool has some few players representing the FIFA World Cup it'll be a good time for Jurgen Klopp to get new set of players in the next half of the season.
Both Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have many players are reserved to play in World Cup. Amongst them, I only think Liverpool and Chelsea especially Chelsea will likely have new players in January transfer. Tottenham will accept players they have but their squad is good enough already.

Liverpool have many injured players and if they come back, Liverpool don't actually need to buy new players in January. Of course World Cup will bring a lot of issues to Liverpool and Klopp does not like this tournament.

Quote
It's Good Thiago Alcantara wasn't called up he's been a very important player used to inject the plans and tactics of Klopp.
It's a good news for Klopp and Liverpool because Thiago is very important for their midfield especially ball possession ability. Thiago did not have important role in Euro 2020 and he was not chosen for World Cup not only because of his injury and limited appearance in this season.

Many teams needed the world cup break so bad, the break comes as a time out for underperforming teams to take some time to evaluate their performances so far, assess their progress and work on finding solutions to their flaws and loop holes in the team, even the top performing teams get some time to restrategice and improve their game even more and  get players not going to the world cup. I think this break is really good for everyone one way or the other.

Chelsea, lol are quite lucky

The World Cup break will certainly be used by all teams. Specifically for Liverpool, Klopp will continue to hold training during his holidays to maintain the fitness of players who are not involved in the World Cup. Even according to the news they will schedule trials with several other teams in Europe.

The tight competition schedule in England certainly makes many teams confused. Kloop will certainly develop a mature strategy to face the continuation of the competition. Klopp is of course aware, there are many shortcomings that must be corrected, they have also lost a lot of points at the start of the season. I'm sure Liverpool will get up and get back to winning ways to continue to compete at the top of the table.

Even though Manchester City is currently in second place under Arsenal, there is still the potential to get first place again. They have strength that only relies on Erling Haaland and many teams already know his strategy. At least Manchester City has a new striker with the same skills as Erling Haaland. and can work well together so that when the opponent is focused on Erling Haaland there are still other attackers who are ready to make the opposing team lose.
The Arsenal team also has other strikers besides those they have relied on so far and when opponents only focus on strikers who have been productive in scoring goals at the start of this season, Arsenal players can still score goals against opponents with other strikers as well. This means that such a strategy is easier to read by each opponent at this point and is no longer a new strategy for the team.
The variety of attacks will greatly affect the outcome of the game at the end. They may have a striker who can be very reliable, but if the strategy they play is monotonous then it will make it easier for the opponent to be able to anticipate from which position they always attack. They must be able to take advantage of the right and left sides of the field, not forgetting to also stab from the middle, taking advantage of the width of the field will be very useful for them to achieve what they want.

Things are not going to be easy for Arsenal, they still have some tough matches ahead of them, I think up to 24 games which is still a long way to go and a lot can happen in the next 24 games, they just have to stay focused and determined one game at a time. Arsenal still need to make additions to the squad to boost their strength and options in different positions.

Arsenal are performing well and have been at the top of the table for a long time, but still it is not easy for Arsenal to win the title. Arsenal is 5 points ahead of Manchester City. But half of the season is not over yet. There is still a long way to go to win the title. And if Arsenal are on the truck at full time and don't lose form then they can win the title. I bolo Newcastle or Tottenham also have a chance to win the title, if they can perform well and continue to perform well consistently. But it is very difficult. I hope Arsenal can be consistent until the end of this season ends and finish as top of the standings and win the league. however, it looks like it won't be easy. the reason is, Arsenal often slip in the middle of the journey. plus, the Arsenal versus Manchester match has not yet been held. Manchester City could have stolen points in that meeting. but apart from all that, I hope Arsenal will continue to be consistent in their matches after this world cup break ends.
Arsenal have managed to top the Premier League table with a five point difference from Man City, this has made their chances of winning a trophy even greater. Behind Arsenal success in appearing impressive, of course, this cannot be separated from the factor of the coach who always strategizes in every game.

Arsenal have enjoyed glory this season under Arteta control, Arsenal sweet achievements so far have exceeded expectations, initially Arteta set a target of breaking into the top four. After nearly half of the season running in the Premier League, Arsenal are able to sit in the top position due to the hard work of the players every day.
Now Arsenal are enjoying pleasant moments, they are calmer during the world cup break while preparing to be even better when the League starts again.

The five-point gap is not a safe difference, because after all Manchester City has the ability to rise quickly. Also, let's not forget Newcastle and I'm pretty sure, that Newcastle will make a bigger surprise from their rapid rise this season.
So, basically Arsenal are still not completely secure at the top of the standings but yes, I also admit that their chances of winning the title this season are still there but the competition after the break will certainly be even more difficult.

Therefore, for now I personally still can't be sure for Arsenal, whether it will succeed in winning the title this season or not.
Because with the opening of the transfer window later in January, of course, competing teams may also improve their good performance again, perhaps exceeding Arsenal.

Well the Premier League match will postponed and continue around next 6 weeks, actually the 17th week is really boring since it's full of top club vs weak club, anyone already can predict which club will win lol. I think Bournemouth has a chance to beat Chelsea, Chelsea doesn't in good condition since their past performance suffer 3 losses and 2 draw.

The world cup break served a very important purpose to underperforming teams like Chelsea who are in their worst form ever since their new manager, Graham Potter took over. It's time for the next boss to take time an map out the necessary problem of his team, the reason behind their sudden defeats and humiliation in the premier league, and the possible solution to it. But most players are injured while some are excited and will play to their best capacity in the world cup.
The problem isn't from the manager, but the players. Chelsea doesn't have many good players, only few of them are good, but the rest should be replaced especially the center forward e.g. Aubameyang, he can't carry his club.

In this thread, there ud a question: Who will be champion in the 2022/23 season?
17.2% have bet on Arsenal and 44.3% on Manchester City. Liverpool also have 17.2% with a total of 122 votes. So now it looks different from the predictions. And it's exciting because many see City as the champions. In the last 5 years they have won 4x and 1x Liverpool 2020. Arsenal the last time in 2004.

people looked at City as the best candidate to be champions due to the fact that City have good players and have a good coach, but in the premier league even if a team has those two things it can still lose points against a team that doesn't have very good players famous and nobody (because I doubt that anyone really had any hope of seeing arsenal at the top before the premier league started) would think of arsenal as a strong candidate to win the premier league, today as there are already many games played by all teams, it's already a little less difficult to see who can be champion. Arsenal just needs to stay consistent and let opponents make mistakes that cause them to lose points.

Indeed, same situation here. I casted the vote for the third year in a row for City to lift the trophy and I believe they can do it. I cast the vote at the beginning of the season and I don't count to change my opinion too.
City will play vs Arsenal and they have to collect all points there. Arsenal will lose additional game or two at any time so Guardiola has seriously to find a way to keep winning as much as possible..losing points randomly isn't acceptable anymore!

A difference of 5 points is still not a big deal, but in the premier league it can mean a lot when it comes to a good team at the top, if City lose points in 2 more games and Arsenal don't lose points in two games , so City will simply be saying goodbye to the title, that's the problem, when a team has that 5 points difference in relation to the first place then the team that is in second place starts to play with pressure because they know that losing points only will be further behind, while Arsenal can even play less pressured, you just need to keep playing as usual

it's unbelievable comes newcastle, from what you can see money makes a strong team, I commented last season that newcastle could even start competing to be champions and constantly be in the 4 places and go in the champions league and we are seeing that , they are a much better team than manchester united that has money but they are a strange team that cannot manage well and bring good results, tottenham should also learn from newcastle. congrats to newcastle and hope they finish in a good position

Aside from the World Cup break, perhaps the downside is that if players don't hone their skills during that time and just sit idly by, it's much more harmful to their performance. Moreover, the World Cup break must be used to consistently develop skills on the field. For example, Haaland did not participate in the World Cup because his country failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals, in Qatar. This means that to maintain their fitness balance, they must still have a solid workout. Then Crystal Palace winger Zaha, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Zlatan Ibrahimovich (Sweden), Aubameyang (Gabon), Luis Diaz (Colombia), Odegaard (Norway), and many more.
they are professional players. maintaining fitness is of course mandatory and they will do it even though the competition is on pause.
I see several teams fill this time by holding friendly matches. this is great for keeping players fit even though most of the players in the main squad will be unplayable.
this effort is good for keeping players who don't strengthen the national team in the world cup to be in stable performance.

The chance is still there but in this case there are several possibilities later because the season is still running now even though it is indeed a holiday.
At the moment we are still only facing half of the season and that means there are still many matches that will take place later so even though they are currently the underdog now, with the EPL conditions which are indeed competitive of course it is very difficult to say for sure about Arsenal even though at the moment the conditions are very good because it could be there will be another surprise later.

It is true that the Premier League is still halfway through. The season is still long for Arsenal to win the League this season, because Arsenal could be beaten in important matches. Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta must really focus during the international break, because this will make the players competing in The World Cup will be exhausted, after the World Cup ends, if Arsenal don't take care of the players physically then it will be detrimental to them when the league starts again, of course the stamina of the players must be really fit like the beginning of the season, if that is not done then Arsenal will find it difficult to maintain their points at the top of the Premier League standings...
Snip-
yes, that's true, the season is still very long and everything is still possible to happen, and if you look so far, Arsenal and Manchester City are indeed competing for position 1 in the standings, but there are several other teams that still have the same chance to become champions. as we all know, the Premier League is very competitive and it is very difficult for a team to be able to be consistent for a full season against tough opponents.

and if you look at the team's performance, Arsenal are very good as well as Manchester City, but because statistically a few seasons ago many people speculated that the competition between these two teams would be won by Manchester City, that's seen from the composition of the players and also the mentality of the team.
That's natural, but it's not a sure thing.

now is the international break, and it is possible for all of us to see the many changes that occur when the league starts playing again later, and of course there are teams that are developing better or vice versa due to the impact of the international break due to the world cup performance.
Everything will look more interesting after half the season goes on it seems.
At the moment other teams like Manchester United, Chelsea and of course Liverpool will also definitely improve what they lacked at the start of this season especially for Chelsea and Liverpool because they are really not very good.
On the other hand, we might also see another breakthrough from Newcastle United, who want more profits this season.
As for Arsenal, they are very good now but when talking about the stats last season especially in terms of consistency they weren't very good in the switching half of the season and it was always unpredictable sometimes. It would be great if they could be consistent but if they do they still have the same problem this season obviously this is sure to be taken advantage of by other clubs and that means they still haven't overcome their problem from the previous few seasons with consistency in playing.

With not many Liverpool players being called up to strengthen the national team in the WC, it can have a positive impact for Liverpool, although being able to strengthen the national team in the WC is the target of every player. This is an interesting fact
Jurgen Klopp can better prepare for this break to improve Liverpool's position later.

Arsenal and Manchester City who send in large numbers will make Arteta and Pep Guardialo I think will add to the feeling of concern about player injuries. Moreover, these two teams are struggling to be able to lift the trophy.

This year's World Cup schedule is indeed not as usual, this is of course a concern for every club that is competing tightly in the League. Arsenal and Manchester City are two clubs that are in tight competition, and as many players have said they will be competing in Qatar later.

If something happens to their players, of course it will be a heavy blow for the club, apart from that the players will also drain a lot of energy and of course it will greatly affect the team, especially after the World Cup they will return to the club and immediately face a very tight league schedule. Teams like Liverpool, Newcastle and teams that have not sent their players to the World Cup have actually benefited a little, because they can take full advantage of the World Cup break to prepare a more mature team.
