They didn't continue very well despite getting an incredible win like that. Rangers were no different than Bournemouth for Liverpool last night. Besides the Rangers match might have ended more interestingly if Joe Gomez's mistake ended up with making the score 2-0.

My worry now is Reece James that has sustain an injury in the last outing but judging from his tweets it seems he'll be back soon as it isn't a serious injury. we don't have a direct replacement that has James kind of ability but we have César Azpilicueta so hoping he can pick some form until James is back.
I just want to know how Potter, whose team will later face a big team that we don't know yet, so that's definitely what we're waiting for.

Hopefully it's true, because they have to face Man City this week. Liverpool performance should not be half and half in the face of the game between Haaland and his friends. Arsenal was still in its good performance as well as liverpool. I think that's not true if liverpool was still facing a difficult position. There are so many remaining matches in EPL. Anything can happen. Someone club may able to get lose streak at the end of season.

I have to say yes, inconsistent play is still the main obstacle for Jurgen Klopp's squad. Liverpool are still in the underperforming phase for the premier league. although there are still many games left until the end of the season, but it seems difficult to be in second place in the standings in the near future.
14 points adrift of the leader of the standings, is not something that is easy to pursue in the near future. there are some unresolved problems within the Liverpool team itself, plus some of these players who have to miss the next few games. this is an obstacle for Klopp to bring his troops to always win the battle in every match.

Exactly what I was saying yesterday. This big win over Rangers is a big boost to Liverpool but it is not a guarantee that Liverpool will perform well against Manchester City. I cited when Liverpool scored upto 9 goals against Bournemouth and ended up not being strong and consistent. However it might be, Liverpool is a team that knows how to play Manchester City, they will try their best but I am not expecting a win from Liverpool, not even now they are struggling with form and lost important players to transfer window and injury.
