No team could win this match and both teams tried to win this match because both teams defensive system was strong and in the end we saw no team as a winner. I expected that Manchester United will win this match because that team played very well in last 5 matches against Aston Villa and we were expecting the same thing but today the result was different because Aston Villa team played defensive and they did not attack on Manchester United heavily and we saw result draw of that match.
Manchester United getting a draw at Aston Villa home is considered by me as a good result for them and I think most of their fans will feel the same way. From the rating Aston Villa had better one as well as lower odds. I was also thinking tjat Aston Villa will completely destroy Manchester United leveraging on the energy of their win against Bayern in the Champions league. I don't know how Man United can win if they play like that. They did the sloppy build up and clumsy possession, and there is hardly any good creativity in the middle. It seems like they are too concerned about how not to concede, so that makes them not confident enough to fight in the midfield. There needs to be a change in strategy or a player who can liven up the tempo.
Manchester united is not longer playing to win, they're playing to win possession and nothing more. I wasn't expecting them to win in the first place but I'm surprised with their performance. They really defend well today and manage to escape defeat but their strikers are lacking qualities to make use of chances. Although Chelsea had a couple of viable goal chances in both halves of the game but palmer and madueke especially were in the charades of giving the ball away. And the game got so tensed when Nottingham forest player got a red card which had then one man down and I think the tension introduced into the game, that was a tactics by the away team to have Chelsea not take control of the game to find a second goal.
