Any chance of winning a single title is over for Chelsea
Another poor stat in the champions league this season
They should have had a game against Liverpool don't know why it was postponed.
There should be a chance to win a title because Chelsea is playing in some competitions. Sure, they are in a poor performance but we can claim they have no longer a chance to get a title. But to win UCL title, I think the chance is too small. They seem to have the opportunity to win a title in the local competition.

Regarding the match against Liverpool, it is on matchday 8. They have 1 match against Fulham on matchday 7 before the match against Liverpool. I think the result of the match against Fulham will have a crucial impact. If they win, it can boost the mentality of Chelsea players. So, they may have a bigger chance to win against Liverpool in the next match.

I don't know if Nunez will fail this season to become an important striker at Liverpool, but let him adapt well without much pressure. Fans must be prepared for all the consequences regarding new players, including Nunez. He will be good with time but Klopp has to really make him confident in every match.

Nunez's adaptation process did not go well where in the early matches of this season he had to be given a red card. He hasn't played in a few games and by then he has gone down and stopped scoring goals. Every fan expects the best from him, but Liverpool's poor form at the moment is a boon for Manchester City and Arsenal in the top standings.
Nunez still has a chance and more time to adjust and come back into the game, after being criticized at the beginning of the season he got back into the game and score a few goals before been sent off for head booting a player and since then has not show that level of performance he was on before the match ban. Nunez is a talented player and I have a feeling he will get back his form again.

Klopp and ten Haag have different approaches and I think Klopp will get his team fixed. They are having a rough patch after such a long time. He just needs sometime and I am sure the team will be right on its track.

Well Klopp has it pretty rough though. Imagine having the team that was so good last season then suddenly, your team kept losing especially against Manchester United that had it rough on the few early games. That would actually put a mental damage onto your team which probably would affect their performances but yeah pretty sure Liverpool would bounce back from that

It's unbelievable that Chelsea can not defeat Salzburg for the match the score about 15 minutes after the second half, assuming other players strike like sterling the goal would have be more than one goal but the things is that James is fail to play the match with confidence, and even when sterling score the goal i thought that either Chelsea players will defend the goal for enable them to win or give another goal, not knowing that Salzburg will equalize the match, Chelsea players need serious practice and orientation before match to make sure that they protect their goal by playing defensive game immediately they scored and especially second half
It's not a big surprise. Chelsea was a garbage team for now that can't perform consistent under any coach. Even when todd was changing coach hundreds of times and the result will always be the same. Chelsea's player has a very very bad defensive and attacker for now. Getting draw with salzburg is a big shame for chelsea. I didn't even understand why todd didn't even understand the main problem in chelsea. It's not about the coach but it must be the internal from the club that makes player didn't feel confidence.
Chelsea is not a big team anymore.

Chelsea is still a big team after all, every team goes through these stages on different occasions and it is no surprise to me that Chelsea are going through this phase, it happens and they will get things together with time, calling Chelsea fc garbage doesn't seem right at all. I strongly believe they will get back together and back to winning games again and Todd Boehly believe Potter is the man to get the job done.

Chelsea is actually in the process of development, Chelsea has just changed ownership, so Chelsea is still in the process of changing in
a good direction. Todd Boehly as the new Chelsea owner has also shown his seriousness by spending a large transfer budget to bring in
several new players, in order to improve Chelsea's performance even better. Then because Chelsea's form was bad at the start of the season,
even though Chelsea spent a lot of money to be able to bring in quality players, so finally Todd Boehly was disappointed and replaced Tuchel
with Graham Potter. Now Graham Potter is trying to improve Chelsea's form. So we have to give Potter time to get Chelsea back to their best,
and not because Chelsea still haven't shown a good performance, then we can call it a garbage team. It's too rude to say that, whereas
the Chelsea squad now has a lot of quality players and now Chelsea has a good coach. If Potter has found the right strategy, I'm sure Chelsea
will return to being a strong team that can win many games.

Sadio Mane is outmatched by Mohammed Salah, in terms of the competition for a place in the hearts of fans as well as management. That's what makes Mane not feel at home at Liverpool because of the difference in treatment in my opinion.
At Bayern Munich he got something he didn't get at Liverpool, obviously as a player he definitely chooses what he wants. But as far as what you say is true, Mane has not been able to perform at his best.
I don't agree that is the reason Mane left the club. Mane is one important player in the Liverpool squad and one who was not really appreciated for his efforts. When I discovered how much Mane was earning at Liverpool I was so disappointed because he was working like a donkey and eating like a mouse which doesn't feel right at all. He deserved better atleast for his work rate and contributions. The second reason was that he was hiding under the shadows of Salah and needed space to shine.

I was about saying the same thing, working so hard to earn such little weekly with tax added
Good thing he left I know they will never get a tyep and replacement for Mane not even Diaz can match him up
He was paid little but will still use them to fund hospitals and schools at his village, mane deserves a better life after football

As for Sterling, he is the one who scores the goals and that is the main point to be underlined.
We know that sterling was the one that scored for Chelsea yesterday, which everybody think he performed well, Chelsea draw yesterday's match against FC Salzburg, sterling scored just 1 goal yesterday after wasting multiple opportunities which he was suppose to have converted to goal, if he was able to convert all the opportunies he had yesterday into goals, am sure Chelsea won't have draw the match they played yesterday, if Chelsea won yesterday's match they won't have been in 4th position on the table. It's really annoying, how will Chelsea be in 4th position and their last two matches have been against small teams.
Sterling is the quality player, and surely he can perform much better but sadly right now things are not favoring Chelsea and him because new team which is surely needs time for having adjustment, and suddenly they lost their coach which is also having some impact on team performance, but we can expect better from him and Aubameyang in coming matches because for me this is deadly combo, and they can thrash any defense with their play and skill.

Due to poor performance right now few top ranked teams are suffering in this group stage which is surely a matter of concern with Chelsea is at bottom with Sevilla and Juventus and Leipzig are also suffering badly and trying to recover which is not easy for them as they are facing good quality teams which are improving their quality.

This is going to be a difficult season for Chelsea. Not sure how to rate them right now. Also achieved a bad result in the CL. They are currently in 6th place, but not all have had top teams. They can easily move up the rankings, but the game is not good. Arsenal are doing well this season with just 1 loss and 5 wins. Arsenal have also played better and better in recent years, and it seems to have been that way from the start. I'm curious if they play against top teams like Man City how it will go. We haven't seen Arsenal in the CL for a long time unfortunately. Maybe this season?

Leicester is not the Leicester I have seen performances in the last few seasons. Yes, their decline is very clear after being without a win in the Premier League until week 6. Their achievement was only able to play a draw and the rest ended in defeat, which caused them to occupy the bottom of the standings. Not only that, they are one of the two teams that have conceded the most goals.
Leicester City’s performance is the worst so far. They have lost most of their games this season and are currently sitting at the bottom half of the table acquiring just a point from 6 games played which is very poor especially for a team which have one the premier league some years ago. I expected more from Leicester City though they should be at to top half of the league even if not in the top six.

I think Liverpool's inconsistency doesn't necessarily mean they've lost Mane.  However, an injury storm at the start of the season really made the Reds dizzy and couldn't show their best performance.  I believe Liverpool's performance will improve again if all the players get back fit.
I don't think we should blame the injury as a cause of the decrease in Liverpool players' performance. For example, when they got 2 draws on the 2 early matches in EPL, almost all the key players were available (no problem with injury). So, the problem isn't on the injured players but it is probably on the tactics or the lineups. Or the problem may come from the mentality of the players, it is also a possible reason. In addition, we can't avoid that missing Mane changing the power of Liverpool attacking a bit. There is no player who can play like Mane, even Nunez can't play aggresively as Mane. Liverpool misses a fast & aggressive winger.

There is no reason to think that Chelsea will start playing well with a new coach very soon. The new coach needs time. A coach needs time to adjust to the players in the team and to understand the mindset of the players. Also the new coach has to find out the internal problems of the team. And it is definitely time consuming. And so I would say Chelsea needs a lot more time to stabilize the squad. And so may they will not fight for Champions League or Premier League title this season. They are already far behind.
I agree, the possibility that Chelsea will play better in the near future is still there, but I would say it is unlikely. I don't see the chemistry built by their new coach, and I haven't seen the direction of their game until now. I would say that in the near future Chelsea's game will improve if now I see the development of what is shown. But so far I haven't found that.
I agree too, the fact that they are in turmoil will cause the team to get worse even more. They should have stayed a bit the same, spending 200+ million dollars may look like a recipe for success but in reality they just overpaid for players and they shouldn't really be expecting much success after such a "failed" transfer season. You could have spent that money on just one or two players, much less probably, and keep the rest and you would do fine.

I understand they wanted Fofana, but get Aubameyang? I would think they could have gotten Ronaldo or some other star for striker along with Fofana and be done with it, that would have made them so much better.

Is not too late for Chelsea to turn things around, I think there is lot of positive in their champions League game against Salzburg, I have strong belief that Graham potter will fix this, he has quality players here at Chelsea than he does at Brighton and good wing backs like James and his former player cucurela that can allow him play his style of formation. Arsenal are doing well right now they are topping the league but with just one point ahead of Manchester city and Tottenham Hotspur and I don't think personally that they can retain that position before the players travel to the world cup.

Last season Liverpool was impressive in the Premier League and Champions League. I can't believe their start to the season has made such a big difference with Mane's departure. I hope a lot for Nunez to be able to collaborate with Salah in scoring goals. but they don't seem to be on the same frequency yet. seen in the match against Ajax. Nunez failed to convert Salah's mature pass into a goal. this could be bad for Nunez, as Klopp might also prefer the performance of the trio (Salah, Jota, and Diaz) up front for Liverpool.

I think Liverpool's current form is understandable because to be honest they've lost some important players since the start of the season. Liverpool is a team that has a chance to do better than other teams like Brighton or Tottenham, but they should definitely try to do it from now on.
Liverpool only lose Mane and see what it looks like now. they have difficulty developing their game in the domestic league. We don't have to blame anyone in this situation because other big clubs haven't found his good form like Chelsea. Liverpool still have enough time to improve and return to the top of the standings where in the upcoming matches they do not have to drop points again. Like Manchester United which has returned to its good form with a few changes made by Erik and I think Kloop can follow in the footsteps of Erik.

Liverpool have time but I am not sure about top of standings. If City maintains their run then it will be very hard for Liverpool. Also it is hard to keep flawless run when they are going through changes and it is not working well on top of that. Liverpool need to come back into game right now or their chance at winning title is slowly getting out of hands.

Klopp and ten Haag have different approaches and I think Klopp will get his team fixed. They are having a rough patch after such a long time. He just needs sometime and I am sure the team will be right on its track.

Cheesy it's good that you admit it. In that case, I have nothing against it, since questions of taste are a purely individual phenomenon. Bayern are unlikely to sign Ronaldo even if by winter they realize that their attack is far from ideal, at the moment a move to Chelsea is most likely. Plus, a lot will depend on how the World Cup will go.
But it's also still difficult, because obviously when they signed they had to look at the performance, wasn't it and now a deal is not possible, He has to put in a good performance now hoping Chelsea still want him in the transfer window next season because he is one of the most important figures in the game. it's hard to get distracted and when his form isn't progressing at the moment are Chelsea still willing to waste money on him?

-snip-
That was announced days ago and tomorrow we will have a game between Nottingham - Fulham and Aston Villa - Southampton with a slight advantage for Fulham and Villa.
The other games will follow later but unfortunately the most interesting game is postponed between Chelsea and Liverpool..
Even though in this case I think many people are waiting between the Chelsea and Liverpool matches, but indeed this has become a decision and cannot be contested. But in this case of course there are some other games worth watching like City against Wolves, Tottenham and Licester and I would like to see Newcastle against Bournnemouth. Even if this game looks like an easy win for City, Tottenham and Newcastle could also be a win for them of course it's still worth watching.

Potter has just joined chelsea so it is unlikely that he will be able to revive chelsea in a short time, maybe there are many who doubt potter's capacity to coach a big team but I think Brighton performance so far can be proof that potter is a good coach,
Nobody expected Potter to be able to change Chelsea's form in such a short time, it just doesn't make sense. Potter had to adjust to the Chelsea players and that took time and hard work. You can expect him to make a good impact after a few games and adapt his strategy to his players, but then again it won't happen instantly.

His experience as Brighton coach will help Potter have a good season with Chelsea but if he fails then I certainly won't be surprised. Potter is not a coach who is expected to be with Chelsea in the long term, he is a coach who might get a chance to stay if Chelsea finish in the top 4 again like last season. Lots of doubts about his coaching abilities and capacity, it was completely normal for a non popular trainer like Potter. But with Chelsea, he will quickly become famous.
