Yes Cole Palmer is a great finisher and has been in the scene long before Lamine Yamal. But I would not take it as a disrespect to Cole Palmer. Lamine Yamal is only 17 years old but the things he can do with the ball is amazing for his age. Barcelona fans are in awe of the young lad and are of the opinion that Lamine Yamal has the potentials of becoming the next Lionel Messi. They are both exceptional players and I think they have a lot in common in the way they play.
I think we should look at Palmer in depth, it doesn't mean that Yamal is not equal to him, but what he did with Chelsea is clearly above Yamal, both of these players also have good quality with their respective clubs and are also age-wise, where Palmer is older than Yamal, but Palmer can't feel what Yamal felt when he was that age because he played for Man City where Pep didn't really see their academy and he preferred to play with his favorite players, but Pamer showed his quality with Chelsea, he was quite good and I think he deserves praise for his work.Yamal also has the same good quality, he also looks very good at finishing well, but I think Palmer is above him and I see PALMER as a big star who is above Yamal.
