City lost Rodri and KDB (do you remember how badly City played without KDB last season?) so it was naive to assume that the game would be easy. Plus note that City concede quite regularly, and Newcastle score at least one goal in every game (they haven't had a single game this season where they haven't scored a goal). A draw was highly anticipated today, any of the teams could have won simply "by chance" but it was more profitable to bet on Newcastle, 1.6 for City to win in such a situation is nonsense.

Chelsea is really rising from the darkness they experienced last season. The coach is really doing a great job with them. Their confidence is tho notch, coordination and maturity on the field of play is commendable.

I noticed the coach isn't much interested in possessing the ball, he plays defensive games and counter attacks. Brighton clearly dominated the possession, but Palmer's finishes were clinical.

Arsenal performed magic today, I wasn't expecting that scorelines. Manchester city needs a savior now, they can't continue playing and getting these results of they intend finishing top 4 in the league.

If not for that mistake they made that made them lose one match against Nottingham, they should be ahead of Manchester City by 4 points and not 1 but nevertheless, this achievement is a good one because they now lead but the more I look at this season, I feel like I'm seeing repeation of last season here again because Liverpool was topping the table last season, a time Arsenal came second and Manchester City were third but Manchester City came back and took the first place.

Chelsea is undergoing a new phase of transformation and I'm happy they are improving. They are now 4 games unbeatable, only lose to Manchester City. If they continue like this, I think even Arsenal might be left behind the race but the points here are too close, we need more weeks for validation on how serious these teams have really change and improve for good.

Yeah the competition in the Premier League is getting fiercer and now we have 4 teams competing there Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea while Aston Villa might shift their position in the standings if they win tomorrow's match but I don't think Aston Villa is a threat. Indeed, we cannot conclude too quickly because the Premier League has only played 5-6 matches this means that there are still many possibilities that could occur but I am sure the 3 teams in the top 3 will compete with each other until the end of the season.

Tomorrow we still have another interesting match between Manchester United vs Tottenham, I don't see either of them as favorites to win and it might end in a draw or if luck favors one of them then we will see different results. I wouldn't pick either of them to win but I'm pretty sure both teams will score, yeah maybe you understand what i mean for betting options.

This is called the "rise of Chelsea". I am surprising to see Chelsea playing very in this season. Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are good at the front then Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto are also doing well at the defense and Robert Sánchez the goalkeeper using all his means to protect the post. 
Arsenal is the best team of the season.

A good win for Liverpool and now they top the table, this puts them back up in the competition, i thought they had left the competition to go in between Arsenal and Manchester City only for them to prove wrong. A lot now rest on the shoulder of the coach and players, attaining this position should mean accounting to retain it till the season is over, same thing like this happened previous season, after the whole reign only for them to be put aside in the third place and that is where they ended for the season.

Right now for Chelsea, this club is having the best of their season already, so far they have been tremendous from the way they play and the outcome of every matches played. Finished 6th last season but this time with continuous potentials from the club ending 3rd or 4th isn't out of the budget and qualifying for the Champions league.

Palmer is a player who is always surprising us in almost every match. We saw how he played well today. I never expected so many goals from him today, but to my greatest surprise, Palmer was able to score four goals in the match. The game was kind of easy for Chelsea, Brighton defense was so weak, which made it easy for Chelsea to penetrate. Chelsea had chances to score more goals in the match, but they were wasted. I was expecting a better performance from Brighton, but the match was just kind of easy for Chelsea.

Chelsea's defense is not so strong this season, which I think Enzo should work on. Chelsea do concede goals unnecessarily, which doesn’t really make sense. If they continue like this, they will find it difficult to win some matches because if they concede early in some matches, their opponents will start playing defensive games, which they will find it difficult to score back. So Enzo should improve the team’s defense. The second goal scored was caused by Sanchez, I think he should just be careful and avoid errors like this.

But, what about the end result? And I think, a 1-1 draw is not a surprising result because anyway, I have also said that although Manchester City has a chance to win but it is not easy at all. Basically Newcastle is also not a weak team at all, so it still makes sense for the final result, considering Manchester City's key players are also newly injured so it takes time for Manchester City to get the right or exact formation and tactics with the availability of players.

Moreover, I personally also believe about Haaland that it will be difficult to make goals if there is no good supply or pass. So, it doesn't seem strange  if Haaland also didn't manage to score in this match despite the fact that Haaland's statistics in this match are also good. With this draw, Manchester City's  position was taken over by Liverpool, who also only won with a thin score of 1-2 against Wolves. The competition that occurs at the top of the standings will still be an interesting competition in the Premier League, because there are many seeded teams that are able to be at the top of the standings,  and not always only about Manchester City.

It was really good for Arsenal to win in a week when Manchester City lost points. We were a bit worried when the score was 2-2 after going 2-0 up, but the winning goal came in the last minute, followed by another one. Arsenal had so many shots that it was surprising that the winning goal came so late. This year I would like to point out the improved performance of Trossard and Martinelli, both of them have raised their game a level. Havertz also looks like he will have a better scoring season this year.
In the end Arsenal got the 3 points and closed the 2-point gap, now they are equal with City. Liverpool won again to take the lead for now, but I don't think they will stay there for long. Liverpool will play Chelsea and Arsenal back to back in October and will lose points here.

Liverpool finally succeeded in taking advantage of the opportunity to seize the main position from Manchester City. Newcastle forced Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park, but this is not the end of it. Manchester City can still reclaim the main position in the standings as long as they don't lose in the next matches, of course by winning the match they can put pressure on Liverpool.

A low points gap like now is difficult for the top of the standings to maintain, of course because of pressure and so on. However, if Liverpool is consistent with their performance, then they can lead the standings for the next few weeks.

Newcastle draw against Man City has been a boon for Liverpool, who, thanks to their narrow victory over Wolves, have now climbed to the top of the league. The competition for European places, especially the Champions League, is incredibly tight. Man City dominance this season seems to be truly under threat. Chelsea resurgence is a signal that they are also well-prepared to challenge for the title. With Liverpool and Arsenal performances looking even more promising, Pep Guardiola is sure to face significant challenges from them in the future. Aston Villa potential cannot be ignored either, they have a strong bargaining chip to spice up the competition, just like last season when they managed to finish in the top four. Personally, I hope that more teams can be involved in the trophy race this season, although in the end we will see Man City bring the trophy back to the Etihad.

Cole Palmer is really an amazing star I believe he will break more records as time passes by hopefully, it's hard not to get attached or love this lad, I have always been trying not to get too much attracted to him but to no avail, though this is from the fact that I don't want to be in the same state where Kai Havertz and Mason Mount did put me notably Mount, so much loved him but he did us so much dirty.

Though I will also applaud Jackson and Sancho for their job well done, Sancho now has 3 assist in 3 Epl games while Jackson though couldn't get a goal unfortunately but also still  gave an assist also.

This is relatively true but is just that Chelsea really didn't perform well last season and Jamal Musiala faces the same fate last season because Bayern Munich was far from their best no matter his efforts including Euro performance couldn't make it to top 30 ballon d'Or nominations. Though I think if Chelsea really cab do well to remain consistent and I doubt any player maybe able to win the EPL player of the year against Cole Palmer, this is if he continues with his form.

Palmer definitely one of his career games, I think he is showing the world why he is one of the best there is at Chelsea and he is going to have a great future. It will be a shame if he spends his entire career at Chelsea because it's obvious that they are not going to build a team that will be great, it's clear that we are going to see Chelsea never build a team around Palmer that can win premier league if they keep this up, the owner doesn't understand about winning at all and shouldn't be worried about it.

I think it's going to be something that could be a little bit harder to handle for most of them and I think Palmer is just going to show his talents a bit more like this game and then eventually he will request a sale, I don't know if he has a release clause or not, but if he does have it, he could be bought by any team anyway, if it's too much or doesn't exist then he will need to do what Osimhen does and just deny playing until he is sold one day, not now but in a few years that could happen.

Winning today's match was not easy for Liverpool players. Home team Wolves performed well in this match. This is why Liverpool's players failed to dominate the match. Liverpool took the lead in the last minute of the first half with KOnate's goal. However, Wolves equalized at the beginning of the second half. The second half was quite competitive and exciting. Wolves' players were able to make several strong attacks. But after going 2-1 up, Liverpool's players kept their defense tight. And because of this Wolves players can't score any more goals in this match. By winning this match, Liverpool have managed to occupy the top spot in the table. Liverpool is 1 point ahead of Manchester City.

Wolves are not in terrific form this season; they are simply losing matches. They have not won any games this season, and based on how I perceive their games, they are certain to be relegated if they draw one game and lose the rest. Since I know the fixtures, I've made Liverpool the favourites to win the game, because they're in good form as well; they've only lost one game and won the rest, and they now lead the Premier League table. Arsenal did well to earn three points today and a chance to chase the league title let's see how this season ends.

Manchester City drew their first league game this season, while Newcastle performed admirably and drew the match. Liverpool should just be in form and not lose a game, because there are opportunities for them to win the league from Manchester City this season, and if they mistakenly pick Manchester City to win the league again, I don't think they will lose any games because that is how they used to perform in the league every season. Arteta and Guadiola are already tied on points, separated by a goal. I feel their upcoming games will be a favor for both to continue leading because Fulham can't defeat Manchester City at the Etihad, and Arsenal won't try to lose against Southampton at home. is just Liverpool game can be tough, Crystal Palace are performing well but I believe with Liverpool they will not try to lose any game now.

Previously I said Liverpool would take second place in the standings but it turned out that Manchester City was held to a draw by Newcastle so the top of the standings was occupied by Liverpool.


And more interestingly the current top 5 clubs have shown a decent game including Chelsea which had made me doubt but everything was answered and for now the race for the top of the table will be even more interesting. Liverpool, Manchester city, Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa who can still be said to be consistent enough to extend their best performances like last season.

A very satisfying weekend

Man City was unlucky 2 matches ended in a draw.
In this match so many opportunities were created but could not be converted into goals for the team's advantage on the other hand Newcastle showed a solid defense and was lucky to be able to equalize in the second half, this draw is very good for the home team considering Man City is not a club that can be defeated easily.
​​For the time being, the top position in the standings belongs to Liverpool, this opportunity must be utilized well by Arne Slot's team to maintain their position longer.

Another thing Chelsea got a satisfactory result, Maresca has been successful so far, and even crazier Palmer got a quattrick only in the first half, it's amazing, Chelsea is lucky to be able to work with this player.

Honestly is been long I saw Liverpool top the table and this is something the fans and even the coach should be happy about but this game against Wolves should be a game they should have won without wasting time or chances. The home team have not been up to speed in improving ther style of play, even when they started the game they look like a team that can stop Liverpool from scoring but after sometime they lost that force of pressing the Reds, so I feel Wolves are not ready this season, 6 games no win 1 draw and the rest we know about and you think they won't be struggling to avoid relegation? I even see them going to the championship.

If Cole Palmer will be given all accolades deserves for his great performance in the league, he will definitely be most spotlighted in the Balond’or choice that is coming up. But in fact he’s less praised than he should be. The English international is not even suppose to be a substitute player in the England national team, I see him always coming from the bench and make good changes to the game. He’s a first choice player and not a second choice player. Scoring four goals and assisted many time which were not converted to goal shows how brilliant he is. Manchester City really gave Chelsea a good player to reckon on. The match ended 4-2 but with the way Chelsea played today, they could have scored more in this match than they did. I just hope they’ll be able to give a good season outing with the good performance they’ve kickstarted the season with.

Well this is exactly what I expected, Newcastle can surprise anyone and they are a team that can be relied on when playing at home, it's just that at first I predicted both teams would score a lot of goals but in fact they played defensively. Liverpool took advantage of the draw to take over the top of the standings yeah maybe until next week before Liverpool have to face Chelsea on October 20 but if Liverpool can win this match then they will be at the top of the standings for longer.

By the way I'm watching Chelsea who are in good form and they managed to take 4th place, from 6 matches Chelsea won 4 times, drew 1 time and lost 1 time It must be admitted that this is a positive trend and if Chelsea can be consistent then they can secure a top 4 position or even compete for the title.
