The referee spoiled the game of Manchester City against Arsenal, the match was going normally until the referee gave Trossard a red card, A Red card is the one thing that spoils football because if a team gets a red card that team will not be able to perform well again because they are missing one person and the opponents will use the missing person position to attack in the game, one thing I understand about Manchester city and arsenal match is that Manchester City uses home advantage to do what they like and also mockery arsenal even after the match end. Arsenal comes to the field with full confidence that they are going to play very well and make sure they win the game but the red card ruins everything.

For all I know, red card is one of the factors that affect the outcome of a match but that not withstanding, the red card that the referee gave to Trossard never really affected the game so badly because Arsenal maintained the lead till injury time so if the red card affected Arsenal so much they would have even conceded more goals just that it made Arsenal defend more than attack. It is not true that Manchester City uses home advantage on Arsenal because if you check most of their meetings for about 4 to 5 seasons now you will know that Manchester City often win Arsenal both home and away but it's only few matches that Arsenal managed to get points from Manchester City. Sure Arsenal played Manchester City with so much confidence and I still stand to say that the red card didn't totally spoil Arsenal's game since they didn't lost the game at last

I am starting to wonder if West Ham United regrets replacing David Moyes now after West Ham United disastrous start in this new season. Under the management of David Moyes, I think West Ham United are still capable of gaining points surprisingly sometimes when they play against big football clubs, but ever since Julen Lopetegui took over as the manager of the club, the team are looking more disorganized in both offense and defense. I guess Julen Lopetegui will have a lot of work to do in order to fix the mess before West Ham United sinks into the relegation zone.

4 points from 5 matches played, this is a bad record for a team like West Ham United. I think there is something wrong with Julen Lopetegui's strategy which makes the Hammers squad cannot perform optimally. Apart from that, the factor of bad luck might be a determining factor, at the start they had to meet Aston Villa, Manchester City & Chelsea which destroyed them. As for the relegation zone, i'm not sure they will get there, as bad as West Ham United are, they can't possibly go to that shitty zone.

We could say it's football, but I really felt bad at Trossard's second yellow, followed by a red card. That is not a type of match to be giving uncertain yellow cards. This was just a good win for Arsenal but it's unfortunate it didn't happen.
What causes Trossard’ red card in the match was lack of discipline, he already knows the rules, and he knows that he is already having a yellow card, he should be cautious and shouldn’t even try crazy things. I don’t know the reason why people keep on saying that the red card wasn’t deserved. At least next time any player with a yellow card won’t try something like that, why did he play the ball even after the whistle has been blown already? Arsenal were just unlucky in the match, even with the red card, they will have been able to maintain the win. Manchester City equalized during the extra time given, which some Arsenal fans still complained that the 8 minutes was too much.
If you talk about indiscipline, what will you say about Haaland's behaviour throughout the match. That guy is a pure bully and he kept oppressing his opponents. He will purposely run into person and ref will not caution him;
He also used some foul words and nothing happening;
He stoned the ball on someone and all was still fine.
There are some kind of nonsense discipline that doesn't apply in big matches.

it's ridiculous to even call the behavior of Trossard’s an indisciplined act when there are far more than that act that has happened on the pitch that didn't attract a card. What's even the big deal about what he did when the first half has almost come to an end and the referee already knows he has a yellow card? A simple caution would have sorted the issue out without giving a card that spoilt the game from that point upwards.
Don't sound bias because Trossad attitude deserves a red card for using his elbow to hit and push down someone who was backing him even when he wasn't with the ball. Arsenal have already macked Rodri out of the game and they continued with their rough game which led to Trossad red cars and you should also not forget that City was playing at home.

Haaland didn't do any rough that deserved a red card because he was not in the game as he was macked down. Actually, the red card spoilt the game because it was no longer interested and the match was one side, but do you also know that injuring Rodri also spoilt the match for City. They are two big clubs and currently I will say that they are rivals in which both of them will look for any means necessary to win the other.

Under the Command of Arteta Arsenal is showing their game level always at the top the way they tackle Man City at their home ground is simply brilliant and the chnage of tactics as well team player follow the instruction and implement it exactly Arteta wants thats why they improved after every game.
Arsenal improvement it's really commendable no doubt, let's be sincere with ourselves, they've not really gotten to the level we expect, we all want a club that can rival Manchester City toe to toe which Arsenal is looking like a club with that potentially but my problem with the Arsenal team is that, they've refused to extend this sort of prowess outside the premier League, take the champions League for instance, Arsenal are always struggle for a point when it comes to UCL as winning matches looks very difficult for them. Unlike Manchester City that dominates not only the premier League but even the champions League and other competitions, Manchester city spread their tentacles with a lot of possession in almost every competition they are involved it, this is what I want to see Arsenal do with this squad Mikel Arteta have and not been narrow-minded on only the premier League.
Despite having 10 players Arsenal done amazing stuff in second half and hold the Manchester City which was doing their best for having equalizer and then winner, but Arsenal defense were well alert which give them good support for having this one important point which is surely also good for the physiological advantage because now in coming games their players will be played with better confidence and also able to do much better performance for having their best and full chance of title race in this season.

In last few games we are having some troubling time for the Citizens as they are facing injuries and things are not going as they needed, but they are managing good, but Arsenal is also having good depth and their performance is also improved which are giving their players good confidence and their best chance for keeping themselves into better spot.

Manchester City is over hype team because if they are not over hype why did they find it difficult even when Arsenal was playing against them with 10 players on the field, This is the first match of the season and they will play the second match in arsenal field which will be very difficult for Manchester City to win the match because Arsenal are very angry with what Manchester City did at Ethihad and they will revenge in the second leg of the match.
From your tone you sounds like an emotional arsenal fan which could be understandable that club  fan ought to support his club at every position. But on neutral discuss arsenal isn't an average team that a one man down in the squad would lead to them being humbled so easily by City. Arsenal has one of the strongest defense in the EPL  this season, they have shown that form in all their games. If you had watched that match you could recall how Manchester City celebrated happily when the final whistle of the game  was blown, it entails that they recognized that they played with a very strong opposition. However, the controversies that ensued in that first match between Manchester City : Arsenal  can't be used to ascertain how the result of second leg at the emirate stadium will be.

Rodri's injury is definitely a big blow for Man City. It's the worst news the team could get, especially since he's considered one of the best holding midfielders in the world. While it's a setback for Pep's squad, there's hope with Gundogan stepping back into action.
Pep is known for finding the right solutions, and he’ll surely come up with the perfect replacement. He's a unique coach who knows how to adjust the team, even without key players. Man City isn’t a one-man team; they’re a strong unit overall.
I also have no doubts about Pep's ability to handle every problem that is being experienced by the Manchester City team and one of them is in keeping the team in top condition by placing the right players in important lines when one of the players is injured during the season. Currently, Manchester City is still in first place in the Premier League and I am quite sure that Pep will try not to lose in the upcoming matches in order to stay at the top, because if City cannot win in the upcoming matches, of course their position will be displaced by other teams such as Liverpool and also by Aston Villa.
He's not the only one suffering injuries of his key players, a lot of teams are faced with such spells so early in the league and it's such a heavy blow for them. Liverpool seems to be without much injuries except for Elliot and their goalkeeper who picked up a muscle injury.

This season injury records are very discouraging as it affects key players. It's a test to the creativity of their managers to push ahead with the replacements for these players on the bench.

This is also an opportunity for the substitutes to prove themselves and get integrated into the team first choice players. This is their chance and I hope they make good use of it.

Rodri is an important player for Manchester City and I know they’ll miss him anytime they play against big clubs because of the work he put into the midfield for them when he’s around. His injury in the match against Arsenal was early and they were able to manage well without him for the full time. His injury will always be a discomfort to Pep Guardiola, but those are the moments in football that cannot be avoided by any team, you just have to learn how to be welcoming instances like this and also find an immediate solution to it.
Manchester City didn't suffer much in the early injury of Rodri  from the fact that Arsenal was playing with 10 men and also opt for more of defending rather than attacking.

Rodri injury is a huge blow for City, while  other team like Arsenal in the Epl are suffering from injury, Manchester City currently faces the biggest pressure since now Rodri is out of season. Injuries are becoming too frequent with these players especially when they have been playing too many games like Rodri and now the current UEFA fixtures, I guessed we might be seeing more injury woes than before like this.

For the next games to play without him, I hope they can all come out victorious. Arsenal need to keep up with their performance, they played well against Manchester City and I expect them to continue in this good form if they really want to win the premier league title this season. With or without Rodri in the main squad of Manchester City, Arsenal should be at their best and take advantage of every opportunity they can to be at the top of the standings.
Let's see if Manchester City can really cope without him throughout the season or probably till January when the transfer windows open again, they may just sign another player to support him once he returns. Though I'm only curious to see how well they can perform without him since this wasn't an easy task for them last season.

Arsenal has now been able to still do well even with their recent injury struggles and I guessed somehow they would be happy from the fact that they are not the only ones suffering injury woes early and seeing it happened to their biggest league title competitor who has sadly often find way to come out the better team to win the league these past two seasons ahead of them

Arteta’s Terrorist-Ball thwarted deep in injury time. I really dislike Man City but was glad to see them equalise late on. Arsenal play some of the most negative football I’ve seen, a bit like Simeone’s Atletico. If they win, football loses. They waste time, feign injury, cheat, horrible team in the image of their creepy little manager.

2-2 is ironically a good result for my team, Liverpool. We are in 2nd and one point behind Man City. Rodri looks like he may have a bad injury, that could badly affect them.
What would you have wanted Arsenal to play against such a stronger team? It was the best choice Arteta made, he knows he has a very good defense and knows they are able and capable to hold on for forty five minutes and they did. When you play against a very tactical and attacking team like Manchester City and you’re down to 10 men with 45 minutes left on the clock, the only way to stop City from scoring is to sit back and defend the lead they had.

It’s too early to be celebrating as a Liverpool fan, the league is just starting. Rodri is going to be out for the rest of the season. Wishing the Ballon d’Or contender speedy recovery.

Of course Rodri will be missed, the team will be affected not just against big clubs but even against some stubborn  small teams. Whenever Rodri is out the team feels his absence, it’s as if they don’t have a substitute player that can fill his spot perfectly. Kovacic is good. But can’t be relied on to replace Rodri but i trust Guardiola to find a better option to fill the spot.

I heard he will be out for the remainder of the season so it will be a long season without Rodri for Manchester City, they will definitely feel his absence but injuries are to expected at anytime and it can happen to any team at anytime.
What happens to Rodri is a risk that we often see when two big teams meet who do have ambition and also high intensity in their game, losing Rodri will obviously be very detrimental to Manchester City who are currently about to enter a busy schedule in their matches, reportedly Rodri has an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee and obviously it is a very severe injury that every footballer has feared so far, so It is likely that he will undergo surgery and it is certain that Manchester City will play without Rodri until the end of this season, the most likely option for Guardiola at the moment is of course relying on Kovacic to fill the place left by Rodri during the injury,But actually Guardiola has another option that they may be able to do to get a replacement for Rodri in the midfield, namely calling back players they has loaned to other teams including Kalvin Phillips who is currently playing at Ipswich Town.

The match against Arsenal was a tough test for Manchester City and they came very close to failing it, but they managed to come back in the end. The way Arsenal and Manchester City competed in this match is clear that this season too we will see the competition between Manchester City and Arsenal to hold the first position in the points table.
Although now Arsenal is fourth in the points table, Arsenal's point gap with the three teams that are at the top of the points table is not much. If Liverpool or Aston Villa lose their next match and Arsenal do well in that match, they will go back to the top of the points table.
Actually, in my opinion, in yesterday's Arsenal match, they were able to beat Manchester City by holding back their attacks which they did quite well in the second half where they lost one player but they were still able to play quite well until Man City had difficulty scoring a goal, but in that match luck was very much on Man City's side where they were able to score a goal in the final minutes, I noticed their second goal occurred in the added time which was actually only 40 seconds before the referee blew the whistle to end the match.
I appreciate Arsenal's performance, even though they played with one player missing in the second half, they were still able to match Man City and were almost able to beat Manchester City, according to my prediction the match between the two teams would end in a draw and in fact it did end in a draw. With Arsenal's next match against Leicester City, I think they can excel and win the match, regardless of that with the points they have, it is not much different, but it is not easy to get points and occupy the top of the standings.

Arsenal performance in that match was excellent playing with 10 men against 11 is never easy talk more of playing against a team like Manchester City. Manchester City would have done same thing Arsenal did if they were in Arsenal shoe, Manchester City celebrating a draw at home with 10 men Arsenal was unprofessional what was Arsenal was the best they could playing all second half in there box had it been they came out to play that particular game in the second half Manchester City would have won them even before John stone late goal and the tactics almost work out for them for not for the late goal.
Arsenal did well honestly I was surprised with there performance on Sunday Manchester City will always dominate even when the both sides are playing 11 men talk more of 10 against 11 starting from the beginning of second half I applaud Arsenal for that performance.
Honestly the Arsenal performance has surprised everyone that on Sunday when they later remain 10 players in the field, but upon that they put much efforts in the second half and able to have a wonderful control which nobody expected that Arsenal can maintain their 2 goals reach the extra minute, Manchester City was able to lead the match to a draw on a luck way; the kind pattern of the game that arsenal applied in that on Sunday against Manchester City if will keep their consistent to with good performances they cannot have much challenges this season.

If Manchester were to finish any place lower than Arsenal, it would be a disappointment for Manchester because as they know, if Arsenal were eliminated in one match, Manchester would not be able to see the strength on anything.  If Manchester had won this match, everyone would have been very surprised.  Because most of the predictions were draw.  Of course, Arsenal will beat Manchester in this match because Arsenal is a team that is hardworking and strong and Manchester loses some matches, that why I have predicted this match in favor of Arsenal.  It will only be good for Arsenal and Manchester if it is not a match.  If this match happens and one team loses the match then it will be a loss of 1 point or we get to see a draw again.  Can't say anything about Barcelona but can beat Austin.  And if Manchester scores more points than Arsenal.

The referee spoiled the game of Manchester City against Arsenal, the match was going normally until the referee gave Trossard a red card, A Red card is the one thing that spoils football because if a team gets a red card that team will not be able to perform well again
It is too strict with Arsenal and Trossard but the player must be more carefully after a first yellow card. That situation deserves a yellow card and controversy is after Trossard got a first yellow card, referee need to be softer in that situation like giving Trossard a warning, then a second yellow card. The player can not blame this strict punishment on the referee as he must know consequence of it if the referee is strict, that actually happen.

This red card destroys the match, I agree but it's wrong to say the referee is the only person take responsibility here.

Quote
Manchester City is over hype team because if they are not over hype why did they find it difficult even when Arsenal was playing against them with 10 players on the field
They don't like to be at a similar level of Arsenal and fail to beat Arsenal in last two seasons. They dominated Premier League and want a better result in big clashes with Arsenal.

It was tough and Manchester city got their way out by equalizing the remaining one goal during the extra minutes and Manchester city fans were making all sought of comments about the red, what leandro did does not warrant the red card i was so angry at what happened, and the way this cards are been given is what I'dont understand and this issuing of card looks like a new trend from the referee's.

I did not expect to end draw i was just to certain that the game was ours to win and getting a draw result with our current position was what was making me angry. All.i want from Arsenal now is for us to getter enough point to get back to the second position and that way we are going to become a problem to Manchester City because the way they keep making fun of Arsenal is just what I can take anymore, arteta is at advantage since the defence is very much okay because I so much trust saliba.

This is going to be a new era for Arsenal we don't have attack for now and I have a feeling that arteta must have discovered that the attack is weak and he would have been looking for a striker that will improve our forward because we are lacking behind seriously.

Today it was announced that Rodri will miss the rest of the season, it is a significant loss for City, but Guardiola is lucky that Gundogan is back in the team, it will help to overcome such losses easier, although it is difficult to lose such an important player so early. It seems that De Bruyne's injury is not so serious, Guardiola said that Kevin is unlikely to appear in the games against Watford and Newcastle, but it is expected that his absence will not be long, which of course is good news.
Of course, losing Rodri is a big loss for Manchester City, his role in the team is very crucial. When he is present on the field, the guarantee not to lose is very big because of his role as the rhythm regulator of the game and being the starting point for starting attacks. Gundogan's presence is a temporary alternative, but Manchester City need to look for another player in January to fill the position left by Rodri. Martin Zubimendi Ibanez is starting to fit into Guardiola plans. He could be the right choice to complete the Puzzle missing due to Rodri injury which is expected to be out until the end of the season.

Liverpool remains firmly in third place, the difference between first and last is already 12 points
Does this make Liverpool more in the race than Arsenal? I have lost confidence in both Arsenal and Liverpool to overtake Manchester city. I was thinking a new team will emerge this time, maybe Aston villa to surprise Manchester City.

I have not given up on Aston Villa, they can be the Bayern leverkusen of England this season. Even if they don't do upto Leverkusen, they can do something surprising to everyone this season.

Isn't it too early to mention which team will win the league and which will not? We are just five games out of the thirty eight games to be played and a lot will definitely happen within the period. So far, Arsenal has not been playing badly. In fact, they seem to be more dedicated than they were in the previous season. We all watched them against Manchester City and saw how they performed. Even the seasons that Manchester City won the league title they were not unbeaten throughout the season.

Liverpool also lost to Nottingham Forest this season already and it doesn't mean they will not win the league title. Losing a few matches or having some disbalance that can be modify is not a big deal. You can not just win every match and that's what is happening to Arsenal but it is unfair to conclude that they are having erratic performance so far.
Here I agree about this with talking about title is too early we are just ended with 5 round games and many teams are not able to perform as they needed to be give their best for having better results in coming weeks we are going to have too many changes specially things will be much different after December vacations when we will have winter transfer window which will surely going to have good impact on few teams with bad for few as well.

Currently, we are having few teams are having trouble with injuries, so this is also going to be had big impact in coming weeks if teams are able to have suitable replacements then surely things will be not bad but small teams surely going to have problems because they are having no funds for keeping things on same level and give performance with consistency.

I think i see a controversial in that Manchester City and Arsenal match, well the referee could have allowed the match to be fair match but the referee was not fair enough to Arsenal knowing it is a deciding match between both Clubs of who to seat at the top of the premier league.

For me Arsenal could have won this match if not for the red card that course them one man down because even before the red card was given to Trossard at first half, Arsenal was on top of the game.

I foresee Arsenalfc defeating Manchester City at home when they will be Playing at the Emirate Stadium.
