Good news for United as Cristiano Ronaldo got back to United training after recording a long week absence. The Portuguese will be included in the squad that play against Rayo Vallecano today. It will be his first preseason game for United under Erik Ten Hag and I hope he will make a thumping debut for the game. Community Shield: The first title of the new season won by Liverpool. 3:1 against City... and City has such a strong team. When I look at the starting line-up, wow. But Liverpool did well, including new player Darwin at the end. The last 10 minutes of the game were very exciting. Darwin in minute 80 and wants a penalty, the ball been touched by Ruben Dias with his hand and the video evidence brings the decision: penalty. That was the end of the game, City didn't have a good chance and Liverpool made everything clear in minute 94.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. What makes the difference is how the two teams attack, both teams have different strategies and styles of play, which in this match is the playing style that is presented by Liverpool more effective than Man City. The movement and passing of the ball from Liverpool's midfielders look good, and sometimes there are some pretty amazing interactions and their attacks can flow freely. That's why Darwin Nunez looks shinier than Erling Haaland who in fact he struggles to create opportunities.

Liverpool with this win, proves that they are still competitive against Manchester City in Premier League. I still think they will have more difficulty in Premeir League within a long season. Manchester City still have better resources that can help them to maintain similar performance when some players get injuries. Liverpool will have more difficulty with player injuries when it happens.
