I've been saying this, lately all good players when they go through chelsea they become bad, and they need to leave and go back to their previous teams to get back to being good players. he made a good choice to return to his previous team

Chelsea may not have any financial problems, but they need to struggle more to get the players than they expect. You will not make me to under look pre season. Preseason friendlies are very important matches. It is so important that it defines the future of a particular player in a club more than main matches. When season ends players and coaches switch clubs. It is during the pre season that coaches evaluate their old and new players and from the evaluation will for his starting eleven for that season. It is during pre season that some.players lose jersy to other players. It is very difficult to start a player that had some dreadful pre season.

Above all pre season is a moral.boost for a player and club as whole. If you can score in pre season, you will be confident to score during the season.

The first real test for both Nunez & Erling Haaland in a real competitive game will be there community shield game against each other that is Manchester city and Liverpool. The game tomorrow will serve as the first litmus for both teams as they head into the start of the premier League as strong contenders to win it again. Both players will be available for the game, it will be interesting to know which of them as well as other new signings to both clubs that have adjusted quickly or better to premier League football.

Manchester city seem to be having some injury challenges already as Laporte will not start with them for a while when the season begins, Liverpool will also be without Diogo Jota.

It is hard in the beginning to recruit players to a team that played near or in the relegation zone for most of the time. I believe Newcastle could be a top team if they invest on it the right way, just as City!
It requires a top manager, someone like Guardiola or Klopp and a couple of good signing. No need for top expensive players but good underrated ones that will make the surprise. Nevertheless, this needs some time, like 2-3 seasons before seeing them eventually in European spot or even in CL one.

There is no doubt we are going to have tough competition for top rank and this is not easy game for any club right now Chelsea is having few issues in last season and right now they are still having same because change of management is having serious trouble for them with Tuchel is already complaining about this, but new management is still not giving required funds which are not good for team and their performance in the future.

They have few quality players but after watching preparation from other English clubs look like they are far behind and can face serious problems because in current season we have good work in transfer market by Tottenham and Arsenal which are tough challenger for them and can put them out of top four race.
