The match between Liverpool and Manchester City is always good to see because these two teams are almost always strong in every season, as well as next season where both are still equally strong. Especially with two great players like Haaland and Nunez for next season in each team so that will make the game more interesting to watch.

Arteta is coming as a shocker this season. I will say Arsenal has develop extremely rapidly. I won't say Sevilla has a floppy defense but that Arsenal has built a working tactics for themselves with their recent signings because from statistics the ball performance between the both club is almost equal. Gabriel Jesus has been too impressive all through the pre-season and here he is proving he can be better with Arsenal.

It will be interesting to see if it is Liverpool or Man City who will triumph in this annual match as they clearly have personal grudges everywhere especially for last season because there was indeed some spark of rivalry every time they met.
At the moment what I want to see the most is their front line in each of them because indeed there will be a new competition between Haaland and Nunez.

James Maddison is the best player in Leicester City team by far. So i understand why Leicester dont want to sell him at all this season. But with how much Newcastle has money they will probobly keep pushing to get him. Also Leicester is one of those rare teams that hasnt bought a single player in this transfer window.

Liverpool and Manchester City games have always been an interesting game to watch,  based from performance during  this preseason league Manchester City performance are more superior than that of Liverpool. Am not so sure if Liverpool will be tough like in the last seasons,  i don't want to judge from performance of preseason alone, their can be improvement as the main league starts.

leicester city has rejected the first offer for James Maddison of newcastle united which was at €47 million. now newcastle is said to have made a second improved offer to the foxes. the midfielder had moved to leicester from norwich in 2018 and still has a contract there until summer 2024.

At the moment Arsenal's match is against Sevilla in the Emirates Cup final and the result is quite surprising for me because I don't know Arsenal who have developed rapidly this season or indeed Sevilla whose defense is not good enough.
4 Goals in 9 minutes really made this unlike the Final Gabriel is doing really well so far and his 2nd goal in 15 minutes was absolutely brilliant.

if you look at the performance of both teams in pre-season matches, I think City will be superior to Liverpool. however, the two teams were rivals last season for the Premier League trophy.
The match will be very interesting because both teams will show how prepared the players are after a long holiday at the end of the season. especially with some new players, I'm sure this will be eagerly awaited by fans.

I cannot imagine a more interesting start to the season than the Liverpool vs Manchester City game. It's hard to say which team will be in better shape in the first match, but I am crossing my fingers for Liverpool's victory.

 I am anticipating the outcome of the game. With new signings from the both teams looking to display their skills, I bet the game will not disappoint.
 Jurgen will want to try to repeat history by frustrating Pep and if not winning, possibly dragging the game to extra time but all the same, there sure will be a winner. Wonder who the lucky team would be tho.

Is a good match to begin the premier League with, is good seeing Liverpool and Manchester city against eachother in the community shield, lot of excitement seeing the new players, Harland, Alvarez, Philip challenging against a tough Liverpool side who has new players also in Darwin Nunes,cavalho and how Luis Diaz will handle the pressure of replacing sadio Mane. Klopp and pep Gaudiola rivalry and the joy of watching the new season.

Yes, there is a possibility of the two teams scoring goals in the match. Manchester City is looking more dangerous in their attack with the introduction of Haaland as the leading striker I don't see anything that will stop City from scoring goals and putting up a good performance because the City team looks more dangerous seeing the star players that are feet to play the game. The game will be a great match to watch because we will see the new signings of the team's performance and possibly see them score more goals or open their goal scoring in the game.


The Liverpool players are fully ready and all eyes will be on the big signing Nunez, this is not the first time that Liverpool is playing against Manchester City so I believe the Kloop men will score goals having the likes of Mo Sallah, Nunes, all they need is to work on their defense then push more attack so that they can capitalize on  counter-attack to score City.

The Community Shield match will be like the early final of the League. We will see which team is better in this match. Also, this match will determine the psychological advantage between Manchester City and Liverpool. I think it is a very important match and my favorite in this match is Liverpool. Because they didn't make any changes in their squad, except for Mane. They seem more ready for the league.

It appears Juventus made an offer of £19million for Roberto Firmino, which is obviously a decent offer. But I think Jürgen Klopp is not planning to let him go. I still believe that he has plans regarding Roberto Firmino. Obviously, Darwin Nunez is going to be the main striker of Liverpool. And he is likely to stay in Liverpool for quite a long time in my opinion. But I think Roberto Firmino is destined to stay at Liverpool because it never hurts to have more options in Arsenal. So I don’t think they are planning to sell him. Even though they are getting quite a bit of money for him.

This is a difficult prediction for the FA Community Shield match between Liverpool v Manchester City, either to choose the winning team or with the final score. Because these two teams in the previous friendly match for me really can't be used as a benchmark to be used as an analysis, but if I only consider the composition of the players and also the coach then it seems Liverpool have a better chance. Although indeed, the choice was a bit forced because I had to choose, because basically Manchester City with Pep were also great but they didn't make many friendly matches which I think that makes the assessment of preparation for the match maybe a little less.

Very important for both clubs so this match is very tough for players and exciting for audience.

The main points of pre-season training and friendly matches are not to get optimal results. All of these things are for best results in real season and with pre-season time, clubs can figure out what are their weakness and how to fix it gradually in order to get as strongest performance as possible in real season.

It helps clubs to find out how to take advantage of best ability of their players. It is for training, fixing, improving but it is never for getting best results or to win friendly titles. Some clubs have pre-season period that makes their players exhausted in real season that is bad. It can cause exhaustion, injury and worse things. I think new players of Liverpool like Nunez are improving and better adapting to the club. It's good result for them before a season start.

Whatever happens in the future, I believe Liverpool and Manchester City will show each other their skills by optimizing the main squad. I'm really looking forward to seeing the debuts of Haaland and Nunez going head to head. Looks like our preseason will get some decent entertainment tonight.
