Chelsea are trying their best to complete their defender transfer as soon as possible. It seems like de Ligt is most likely to join Bayern Munich now. His asking price seems to be very high like around 90 million euros. Bayern Munich seem ready to meet this amount. I don't think that he would choose Chelsea over Bayern Munich even if Chelsea offer the same amount. Therefore Chelsea might focus on transferring Nathan Ake from Manchester City more after this happens. They are already in talks with them for him.
After Arsenal's interest started for N'Golo Kante, I see that Manchester United have also decided to intervene. Kante is one of the best midfielders of the Premier League now. Aging doesn't change much for him for now. Chelsea wouldn't like to lose a player like him because this would cause them to be weakened in defense more. By the way I understand Manchester United's interest too as they are already after Frenkie de Jong too. They must be aiming to sign one of these players for sure.
Why do Arsenal and Man United try to sign Kante? They must know he is a key player for Chelsea, it is almost impossible to sign him. As far as I know, Chelsea has no other defensive midfielder that has the same capability as Kante. Even if they have Jorginho, Jorginho still can't play at the same level as Kante. I am really sure that Chelsea won't lose another key player after they lost Rudiger. Chelsea must be aware that they must keep the quality and the quantity of their squad if they still want to compete for the title in the next season.

Personally, I think it could have been really intriguing to see if Chelsea came forward and had an agreement with Cristiano Ronaldo. It was going to be really great to see Cristiano Ronaldo for Chelsea as well. But I don't believe that is going to happen.
I think so, although there were rumors that Chelsea were at the forefront of wanting to get Cr7, but the issue did not become strong evidence because there were no rumors that said Chelsea had made an offer for Manchester United. So there were no further talks after the chelsea owner met with ronaldo's agent and the meeting didn't seem very meaningful if chelsea really wanted to get ronaldo.Btw previously, Manchester United performance under Erik Ten Hag was really impressive, they can control almost all sides and can turn off quickly every time there is an attempted attack from Liverpool. in this friendly match Manchester United can win 4-0 even without the presence of Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo is obviously not planning to move from United because we would have heard a lot more things. And the amount of money that Bayern Munich is asking for Robert Lewandowski is just pure stupidity. I do think that both are really viable options. Chelsea should do whatever is most likely to work with their game plan.
Today Macnhester United took a resounding victory over Liverpool. Of course it doesn't mean anything because it's not a game for the competition, but you can bet that they are happy with this result in Manchester and that Liverpool are definitely not happy that they lost 4-0. These are practice matches, but this does indicate that there is another team at United and for Ten Hag this is also a good preparation for the EPL. I have high expectations of Ten Hag.

Manchester united has always played better without Ronaldo, his arrival made most of the other players withdraw into their shell and loose confidence in themselves and this affected the team, this game is also a pointer to show that they don't really need ronaldo to stay at the club, they can do better without him.Honestly Liverpool didn't pushed much and Liverpool lineup at defense was quite loose and made too many errors and United got the upper hand there. Despite that United's attack was good but still lot of work need to be done before them to be considered as serious contender for title race. I think they can work without Ronaldo but having Ronaldo will really benefit them. He can perform when team needs him but that also comes with a cost where players like Rashford and Martial loses regular playing time.

There’s no truth in N’golo Kante's move to Arsenal. I know that Arsenal still see midfield as an area to improve on but Kante isn’t an option. Although his contract expires next season but I don’t see him joining Arsenal. Arteta is seeking a younger defensive-minded midfielder that will serve as cover for Thomas Partey next season. Kante is 31, he had spells on the bench amid a knee problem last season. That’s not the player that a club that’s building would want to sign. Besides there’s Thomas Partey, a proper defensive midfielder, so I don’t see the need for Kante. Also he is the second paid player in Chelsea after Lukaku, Arsenal would not offer him what Chelsea pays currently.
Somewhat you're correct if Arteta isn't favor to sign a middle age or old player since their past players in was full of young players. But actually a middle age or old player aren't that bad since it's depends on the player how serious he's to maintain his stamina and body to compute with younger player. Take a look how Ronaldo who already 37 years old still become the best striker/winger at this year, his name doesn't appeared too much because he's lose. But if you see the statistic and the contribution, you will see Ronaldo was already giving 30% performance from the whole statistic.

Wow that's an interesting fact but well then again I haven't seen much of any notable signings from Wolves but another interesting thing to note is that despite that they still are one of the scariest underdogs in PL. With Trincao loan expired, I think they need a signing at that position so possible we might see another addition to the Wolves squad.

With the kind of performance I saw today from Manchester United preseason match against Liverpool it is very clear Manchester United will be so different from what we had last season, the performance was so outstanding, it shows that Erik Ten Hag is doing a great work indeed.
