Even now i can tell you that, that decision didn't seat so well with Klopp. He just couldn't offer Sadio Mane what he wanted and that is, a higher pay cheque and Sadio Mane wanted to test new waters as well. Coupled with the fact that, it was the champions of the Bundesliga that was bidding for him and a playing time isn't much of a problem. Sadio Mane remains a big lose to Liverpool for now until proven otherwise with the teams performance when the season kicks off. Although Klopp remains a good coach and am sure he would manage it.

Wait too see Nunez Darwin finding it difficult the adapt to the premier league.
Bellingham will one day leave Dortmund and at the moment Liverpool had no serious moves for him.
Release clause too big for any club to bid. He remains a Dortmund player.

I don't think Manchester City is planning to be very interested in de Ligt, because already Bayern Munich is offering Juventus almost 90 million Euros for this player and Juventus still is not selling the player. Due to this delay, Chelsea will likely be able to consider other options as well.

They need quite a number of defensive signings because speculations say Alonso and Azpiliqueta are also linked with joining Barcelona. I don't know how serious that news is but if it is true they will need to be replacing four to five players at the back with Rudiger and Christensen already joined Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively. The deal with Manchester City is still stalling in fees and finding a replacement for Ake. Hopefully, they will get one and let Ake join Chelsea.

That is the right of every coach, maybe if I were a Man United coach I would choose Ronaldo. But perhaps this is the reason Ten Hag motivated Maguire to perform better.
