I see a dark scene for the arsenal next season.
1 - Newcastle is getting stronger
2 - Manchester united has a new coach who has already proved that he is a good coach
3 - Tottenham is getting stronger
4 - Aston villa also made some good buys, so next season they will be stronger
5 - Gigante City will be heavily armed, that is, it will run over all teams that it can
The question is:
where will the arsenal end up next season? they are not investing like tottenham or manchester united or aston villa or newcastle, maybe arsenal doesn't even get to 8th position
In fact, it is necessary to assess this situation not from the point of view of one team, but from a more global scale. So next season we will have a few teams that are supposed to be strong: Liverpool, Chelsea, United, City, Tottenham, Arsenal + Newcastle + someone who will come up from the middle tier, maybe Aston Vila/Leicester. Obviously, no matter how much the owners of these clubs invest in the league, there are simply not enough prizes to make everyone happy at the end of the season. Someone will be a loser even with a good game. The Premier League is the most profitable league and even the outsiders are making more money than the top teams in Italy for example, but it looks like the situation is already close to breaking point.
