Newcastle are going to be followed closely in this transfer market for sure. They have an incredibly huge transfer budget now but we will see if they will be able to use this budget efficiently. It was very important for them to stay in the Premier League this season because none of big players would be eager to join a second league team in that case. Newcastle want to build a very solid team and become a team like Manchester City for sure. On the other hand this can take some time for them. They can still start with adding a few solid players to the team.
I think the media exaggerated the takeover too much.
Making everyone have a huge expectation especially from the newcastle fans who for sure expect the new owner could splash the money like the other oil money owners.
I just think that the newcastle takeover by the saudi company , a company that owned by saudi family / kingdom .. mohammed bin salmanwould running the business like usual , i mean having a huge .. more to unlimited transfer budget doesnt mean they have to pouring it all to get a new and expensive players like what psg did to land neymar , like manchester city to land haaland .. all of them cost a lot of money that nobody had never ever imagined.
Newcastle would just try to get some new players but not an expensive or a real huge star , that's what i believe.
It's true that the media seems to be overreacting about Newcastle, and I'm not sure Newcastle will do what PSG did either. After all, it is very difficult
to convince big star players to play at Newcastle, because Newcastle themselves have not played in European competition. So the possibility of
new players being brought in by Newcastle is only top players, not big star players. Indeed, there are several names that have been linked with Newcastle
to be brought in this summer, but what caught my eye were Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lucas Paqueta. Because these two players are among
the top players who still think that Newcastle can buy and their performances are also very good at their respective clubs. So if it is true that Newcastle
can get Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lucas Paqueta, it will really help Newcastle to compete in the Premier League next season.
